Tottenham Hotspur have made a formal £70m bid for Manchester City forward Savinho, according to Italian journalist Luca Cerchione.
Spurs have had an impressive window so far to date with six new arrivals in Roberto De Zerbi's squad, with all of Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes, and Sandro Tonali arriving.
The club have begun to start looking at potential departures, but they are also keen to add some forwards to the squad to continue their rebuild, and they have now made their move for their top target.

Savinho, who has been described as 'incredible', has been earmarked as the club's top priority to strengthen the attack, with Roberto De Zerbi a huge fan of the Brazil international.
The club were close to a deal to sign the 22-year-old last summer, but Man City blocked the move after Pep Guardiola made the decision to keep him, and then he signed a new long-term contract.
But after managing just one goal in all competitions, the Cityzens have now opened the door to his exit this summer, and Spurs are ready to step up their interest once more.
According to one report, the club have now made a formal bid worth £70m, ast ehy look to accelerate the deal in the coming days to get the player in as part of their pre-season squad.
Savinho has already agreed personal terms ahead of a move to north London, and it's believed that a deal is likely to be agreed imminently, with City's valuation not far off what has now reportedly been offered.
Savinho Deal Big for Spurs
Savinho may not be the marquee name that many Tottenham fans want to add to their attack, considering the huge money spent already and the reported fee for this deal.
But the Brazilian winger is a supremely talented forward, who has all the attributes to excel under De Zerbi and in a Spurs side that has got an abundance of talent already in it.
De Zerbi has a clear vision of how he wants his team to look and play, and with Savinho a key part of that team, he will have a much better chance of being able to implement it, and also help the team climb up the table.
