Tottenham Hotspur youngster Luka Vuskovic is closing in on a move to Hamburg after Spurs decided to loan him out again this season.
That’s according to Kicker, who report HSV are close to securing the move that they’ve been dreaming of and plotting all summer.
They report that Tottenham are set to loan out the youngster for a third time after spells at Radomiak Radom in Poland and KVC Westerlo in Belgium and Hamburg will be his destination.
The transfer has not been finalised yet but there have been concrete discussions between the two clubs over the weekend. There was also an internal summit at Tottenham to decide what to do with the defender.
That’s led to clear signals from them to Hamburg that they have been ‘awarded the contract’ and Vuskovic will be going to Germany. The player had already long decided that if he were to be loaned out, he would like to make that move.
His family has a close relationship with the German club. His brother already plays there, and they’ve been supporting him since he was banned for doping in 2022. Indeed, they even offered him a new contract starting from 2026.
He’s an integral part of the team and that bond has helped them to secure his younger brother this summer. Tottenham had helped off sanctioning the deal as they decided upon the best destination for the young talent.
They’ve now picked Hamburg and Vuskovic is expected in the city for a medical as soon as the final details are squared off.
