It is now time for Tottenham Hotspur to break the emergency glass and appoint Harry Redknapp.

Igor Tudor’s interim stint in north London has churned out three defeats from three games.

Nine games remain for Tottenham to somehow salvage their Premier League status as they continue to free fall without a parachute.

With a brief break in Premier League action this weekend to allow for FA Cup games, the Lewis family must step in and relieve Tudor of his duties.

What are you doing with Igor Tudor if you are the Tottenham board after that Palace loss? 😫

These are unprecedented times for Tottenham in the Premier League era and Redknapp must be brought back to N17.

Tottenham have to part ways with Igor Tudor after Crystal Palace defeat

Gareth Bale has urged the Lewis family to break Tottenham’s wage structure, but the club require more urgent action to save them from relegation.

Would Harry Redknapp have enough in him to save Tottenham? 😬

He's done it before, could he do it again?

MORE SPURS STORIES

It should be panic stations in north London following the absolute drubbing against Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace.

The Lilywhites have undoubtedly done themselves no favours, with Micky van de Ven getting sent off.

However, the early warning signs were there for all to see as Spurs recorded just 11% possession at one point in the first half.

Only 19 days have passed since Tudor was appointed and it is already abundantly clear he is not the man to save this Spurs side bereft of any confidence.

Tottenham must look to Harry Redknapp to save them

The options are bleak, but Tottenham need someone to come in and get this side back to basics.

Redknapp has done that in the past after saving Juande Ramos’ Tottenham side back in 2008.

“Would I fancy it? Of course I would do it, without any shadow of a doubt,” Redknapp told Sky Sports last month.

“But I am a realist – I don’t live in cuckoo land. It is very doubtful if I would get the job. But could I do the job? Yeah, of course I could do the job.”

It is now nine years since the 79-year-old last sat in a dugout, where he managed Birmingham City for 13 games.

Any manager who may potentially take over from Tudor faces a difficult task, and there is no certainty Redknapp would even want the job at this stage.

Redknapp has already given Tudor some advice after he was appointed the manager last month, but the Croatian’s arrival has made no difference in the slightest.

Redknapp has previously saved Tottenham from relegation

When Redknapp took over the mess Ramos left behind in 2008, Tottenham were rock bottom of the Premier League at the back end of October.

This would pose a much more difficult task, but some may argue Redknapp would not have a lot to lose given the trajectory of this Spurs side.

Redknapp took three wins from his first four Premier League games back in 2008, which included that 4-4 draw at the Emirates.

There are some similarities with Redknapp having taken over Spurs on the back of their only other trophy this side of the millennium.

It is now March and Tottenham are still in search of their first Premier League victory of 2026.

The last throw of the dice is needed and Redknapp is the panic button Spurs will not have wanted to press.
