Tottenham Hotspur youngster Alfie Dorrington is now attracting a late interest from a League Two side gunning for promotion.
With the winter transfer window expected to slam shut in less than 24 hours, Tottenham Hotspur have to make a few decisions on the future of their fringe players.
It has been revealed that George Abbott is closing in on another move to League One, while Mason Melia’s future has also been decided after joining Tottenham back in January.
Antonin Kinsky, on the other hand, has attracted interest from clubs in England and Europe, but a decision on Kinsky’s future has now been made by Tottenham.
Tottenham youngster Alfie Dorrington attracting Salford City interest
Alfie Dorrington is another player whose future at Spurs needs to be decided after he was recalled from his loan spell in Scotland with Aberdeen.
The Spurs youngster spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Pittodrie, where he lifted the Scottish Cup in May, before rejoining the Scottish Premiership side again in July.
However, having made 14 appearances for Aberdeen, including six in European competition, the 20-year-old could be on the move again.

That is according to journalist Alasdair Gold, who claims that League Two promotion hopefuls Salford City are leading the pack to sign centre-back Alfie Dorrington on loan from Spurs today.
Why another loan move could suit Spurs and Dorrington
Dorrington is a player with huge potential, one Tottenham are keen to nurture as he progresses in his career.
However, if he is to reach the level of being a first-team regular in north London, he must play football regularly at a high level.
While in Scotland, it was clear that he was not in the manager’s plans, given that Dorrington was not included in their European squad.
But if he does secure a move to Salford, the hope for Tottenham will be for the centre-back to get enough minutes under his belt with a side gunning for promotion, providing vital experience.
