As per TEAMtalk, Tottenham have sent scouts to watch the player in action. They have prepared a list of targets to improve the attacking unit. Thomas Frank wants to add more edge to the attack. Akliouche is a part of that wishlist.

Tottenham scouted the player in Paris when France beat Ukraine.

Signing him might not be too straightforward. He is an elite talent, and Monaco could demand a premium. There is no doubt he would be an asset for the Londoners in the future if they manage to get the deal done.

He can operate on either flank, and he will add pace, flair and unpredictability to the Spurs attack.

Akliouche could fancy a move to the Premier League as well. Tottenham are a big club, and they could help him fight for trophies and compete in the UEFA Champions League.

They have a talented squad and a top-class manager like Thomas Frank. The Danish manager might be able to bring out the best in the young French attacker as well. On paper, the move seems ideal for all parties.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs come forward with an official offer for the player.

Tottenham need more quality on their squad if they want to fight for trophies regularly. Ideally, they should invest in a clinical striker as well. It will be interesting to see if they manage to plug the gaps in their squad in January.

Akliouche could prove to be a superb long-term investment. The 23-year-old had 19 goal contributions last season.
