Tottenham Hotspur could look to complete one of the deals of the winter, according to reports - with reports suggesting that they have made a mega-money move for Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni.

Spurs have already spent close to £50million this winter, landing Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid, as well as young Brazil left-back Souza from iconic club Santos.

Reports have touted them with a move for Andy Robertson from Liverpool, as well as others in the Premier League such as Curtis Jones. But they could now move for a genuine 'world-class' star in Tchouameni, according to reports - with suggestions that an £87million bid has been made for his talents.

Report: Tottenham 'Make Offer' for Aurelien Tchouameni

The report by Spanish outlet Fichajes states that Real Madrid are once again at the centre of the international transfer market with Tchouameni coming under two offers of £87million.

The 25-year-old ''phenomenon' only joined Real Madrid for around £69million from AS Monaco in 2022, and he has gained experience, importance and stardom in a leading role in the team under both Carlo Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso down the years, on a £260,000-a-week contract.

With that in mind, Spurs have shown a clear determination to get a deal over the line for the France international, who has become one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe. Real Madrid are aware that Tchouameni's talent hasn't gone unnoticed, and as a result, Tottenham have made a move which would shatter their previous transfer record.

ENIC want to take a competitive leap in north London, and believe he would be an 'immediate fit' for their sporting project, sitting alongside new signing and former rival Gallagher in the pecking order to start in their midfield.

Tchouameni has the likes of Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde and Dani Ceballos to contend with in the pecking order at Real Madrid, and a move to the Premier League could see him become one of the leading stars in the division.

Tchouameni's Experiences Would Make Him a Super Addition at Tottenham

Tchouameni came through Bordeaux's youth system, making his debut in 2018, before moving to Monaco in January 2020.

He only spent two-and-a-half years at the club before joining Real Madrid. He's been a regular fixture ever since, with the least amount of league appearances in one season only being the 27 he made in the 2023-24 campaign.

Alongside 43 caps for France, Tchouameni has already achieved a lot in the game, having won nine trophies at such a young age, and that experience would be invaluable for Spurs to blossom with a winning mentality.
