Can Tottenham Hotspur continue their unbeaten start to the season? Last weekend, Spurs demolished Crystal Palace 7-0 at Selhurst Park, helped by Fūka Tsunoda's seventh minute red card. Olivia Holdt subsequently scored a hat-trick, Victoria Pelova bagged a brace while Shekiera Martinez and Amanda Nildén were also on target in the Lilywhites' biggest-ever WSL win.
This means that Martin Ho's team have seven points on the board after three matches. Tottenham also beat West Ham at home on the opening weekend, before earning a credible 1-1 draw with Liverpool in St Helens. Spurs did only draw 0-0 with West Ham in the League Cup on Wednesday, beaten on penalties, but have plenty of reasons to be positive right now, so will they win again?
As for Aston Villa, they travel to the capital still searching for a first WSL victory of the campaign. A week ago, Lynn Wilms' last gasp equaliser saw the Claret and Blue Army pinch a point against Brighton by the South Coast.
Natalia Arroyo's team also shocked Chelsea on the opening weekend, battling to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, before being demolished 4-1 by Manchester City at Villa Park, offering something of a reality check. The Villans finished fifth as recently as 2023 but, following last year's ninth place finish, are hovering above the relegation zone once again. Thus, form suggests Tottenham have to be favourites to pick up three points at Brisbane Road.

Martin Ho made nine changes for Wednesday's League Cup draw, Amanda Nildén and Olivia Holdt the only players to keep their place, but will surely largely revert to last weekend's winning team. Drew Spence will captain the team, while Holdt will be on cloud nine, following her hat-trick.

Similarly, Natalia Arroyo seven changes for Wednesday's 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, as she continues to search for a winning formula. Océane Deslandes will hope her display in the WSL Players Cup earns her a start, while Maya Hijikata will return to lead the line.
