Alphonso Davies has predicted who is going to win the Europa League final in Bilbao on Wednesday between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
Tottenham Hotspur are less than a week away from playing one of the biggest games of their 2024/25 season.
The Lilywhites have endured a poor league campaign, having lost 20 matches, not scraping past the 40-point mark, while sitting in 17th place.
Spurs, however, have reached the Europa League final and are set to face Manchester United, who have also suffered a woeful domestic campaign, sitting only one point and one place above Tottenham in the Premier League table.
Alphonso Davies backs Manchester United to beat Tottenham in Europa League final
The final is set to take place in Spain at Athletic Bilbao’s San Mames Stadium. Spurs have already beaten Manchester United three times this season, and if they are to end their nearly two-decade wait for silverware, they will need to make it four.
Alphonso Davies, who was part of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga title win this season – their 33rd in history – has weighed in on who he believes will come out on top in the Europa League final clash between Manchester United and Tottenham.
The Bayern Munich full-back was asked by popular streamer Speed for his prediction on the final. While Davies hinted at a tightly contested affair, he ultimately backed Manchester United to get the job done in Spain.

He said on Speed’s Youtube channel: “I do not know, I have friends on both teams but I think Man U is gonna win… I think. I am not sure.”
Spurs must remain focused against Manchester United
Coming into the final, Tottenham Hotspur must be laser-focused when they take on Manchester United. Finals are single-game affairs and are often decided by moments rather than the better team over ninety minutes.
Across their Europa League campaign, Spurs have shown real maturity in the way they have approached knockout ties, adapting their style and finding ways to win in varying circumstances.
