Tottenham have work to do in attack as the club look to boost Roberto De Zerbi's squad in the final month of the transfer window.
The north London side have been incredibly active in the summer market already after confirming the arrival of six new players.
Splashing the cash on Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, Martin Dubravka, Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi all signed on free transfers.
Tonali was the club's last signing on July 6 and Tottenham supporters are hoping it won't be too long before another new player comes in through the door.
Currently away on their pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia, many have mentioned the need to improve on the club's options in the final third after watching on in their summer friendlies against Auckland FC and Sydney FC.
Tottenham working on £60m transfer deal
Tottenham are working on a £60m deal to sign Manchester City winger Savinho, according to The Times.
The report states that a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the Brazilian may cost more than £60m, however, once add-ons are taken into account.
Tottenham were keen on a deal for the 22-year-old last year but a move never materialised with City wanting £67m for their player.
The transfer could finally come to fruition this summer, though, as Tottenham look to add two attacking players to their squad.
One attacking target they won't be signing is Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, who has been ruled out for 3-4 months through injury.
Savinho would give De Zerbi plenty of options when it comes to his attack due to his versatility in the final third.
The left-winger is equally capable of playing on the right flank and he also has experience of operating as an attacking midfielder as well if required.
Savinho did make 36 appearances in all competitions for Manchester City last season, starting seven games in the Premier League and four in the Champions League.
Savinho current status
Amid all the talk of a Tottenham transfer ahead of the summer deadline, Savinho is part of Manchester City's squad for their pre-season tour of Asia.
New boss Enzo Maresca has named a total of 28 players in his travelling party for their trip to Hong Kong and Seoul for games against Inter Milan, K league All Stars and Atletico Madrid over the next ten days.
Savinho could well feature for his current club on Saturday when City face Italian giants Inter in Hong Kong.
Tottenham have further games against Getafe and Hoffenheim to come once their summer tour of New Zealand and Australia comes to an end, with the hope that De Zerbi has new attacking options to incorporate into his side for the games prior to the Premier League opener at Brentford.
