While West Ham find themselves stuck in 18th and fighting to escape the drop, Tottenham are enjoying a far more comfortable campaign.

Sitting inside the top five with a settled back line and an in-form attack — including former Hammer Mohamed Kudus – Thomas Frank’s side are flying.

That success, however, has left certain Spurs players on the fringes, and one of them is now being pushed towards a January switch to east London.

Solomon Urged to Join West Ham

Spanish reports recently revealed that West Ham are exploring a move for Tottenham winger Manor Solomon, who is currently enduring a difficult loan spell at Villarreal.

El Periódico Mediterráneo claims the Israeli international is unsettled in Spain and unhappy with his lack of minutes, and has already asked Spurs to end the loan early so he can return to the Premier League.

That possibility has sparked growing encouragement among Israeli pundits, who believe West Ham would be an ideal landing spot.

Sport1 journalist Niv Dovrat explained: “West Ham have a coach whose playing style – defensive football and going on outbursts – could be a great fit for Manor.

“I’ve spoken to people close to him in recent days; he doesn’t regret going to Villarreal because in the end, in life you take chances.”

He added that a January return is entirely plausible if things don’t change: “If things don’t improve drastically, it’s not impossible that he will return in January. A team like Leeds that he knows very well, like West Ham, like Burnley, who made inquiries about him in the summer.”

Former Atlético Madrid star Avi Nimni, who played in England with Derby County, went even further.

“I wish he would go to West Ham,” said Nimni. “This is a team that is just perfect for him.”

With West Ham seeking more pace, creativity and depth out wide, Solomon’s situation could present a realistic January opportunity — and he has no shortage of people urging him to take it.
