Igor Tudor has agreed to become the temporary head coach of the North London side, according to media reports.

It comes days after Thomas Frank left the club following a poor run of results that so far has seen Spurs place just outside of the relegation zone in the Premier League table.

Announcing Frank’s departure, Spurs said in an update to fans: “The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today. Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together.

“However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary. Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him every success in the future.”

Spurs’ next game will not take place until February 22, when they host a home North London derby fixture against Arsenal. Now, Igor Tudor will be in charge of the Lilywhites for the rest of the season.

Who is Igor Tudor?

Igor Tudor is a Croatian football manager who most recently was head coach of Serie A side Juventus.

Tudor replaced Thiago Motta at the Italian club in March 2025, but only lasted seven months in the role after an eight-game winless run. Before this, he led the side to a fourth-place finish in the league.

His extensive managerial career has seen him take up roles at clubs such as Udinese, Hellas Verona, Olympique de Marseille, and SS Lazio.

Prior to moving into management, Tudor was a defender who played from 1995 until 2008. He played for teams such as Hajduk Split and Juventus.
