Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz has emerged as one of the most highly sought-after players in European football following an outstanding domestic campaign.

The 26-year-old was a standout performer in helping his club secure another Super Lig title last term.

So there sure is a lot of smoke surrounding yesterday’s big bombshell report from David Ornstein. If you missed it, Spurs are reportedly in active negotiations with Manchester City for a double-swoop for Savinho AND Omar Marmoush, which combined could cost in the realm of £140m-150m.

Roberto De Zerbi revealed his ultimate goal at Tottenham is to "bring the club to the top of the Premier League."

De Zerbi took charge of Spurs at the end of March and helped them avoid relegation from the English top flight with victory over Everton on the final day of the season.

The future of Omar Marmoush could become one of the biggest moves of the final days of the transfer window in England.

Tottenham have seen their hopes of signing Savinho boosted even further, with Manchester City reportedly working on a deal for a replacement.
