Hull City have been linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur talent Mikey Moore ahead of the Tigers' return to pre-season training on Monday morning.

Moore is rated highly in North London and burst on the scene last term, making his debut against Manchester City, and in the process, becoming the youngest player to play for the club in the Premier League.

His sole goal last season came on the way to Ange Postecoglou leading Spurs to Europa League glory, one of five appearances in the competition to go with 10 in the top-flight.

Aged just 17, Moore, who can operate on the right or left flank, has been away with England's Under-19s at the Euros. Although he skippered the side in the 2-2 draw with Norway, he was not involved in the sensational 5-5 draw with Germany or 4-2 defeat to the Netherlands which knocked the Young Lions out after picking up an ankle injury.

The Tigers are not the only club said to be keen on Moore, with West Brom also showing interest. A move to The Hawthorns would make sense, given ex-City man Ryan Mason is the new head coach there, having left Spurs' coaching staff earlier this summer.

City have also been linked with a move for St Pauli defender Fin Stevens. The right-back joined the German outfit last year after leaving Brentford in a £1m deal, but played just once in the Bundesliga despite being a regular on the bench.

Preston North End, amongst others, are also keeping tabs on the 22-year-old, according to reports. Stevens came through the ranks at Arsenal before moving onto Worthing and then Brentford. He had a loan spell at Oxford United, where he played 43 times, coming after a short stint at Swansea City.

Hayters claim Stevens wants to move back to the UK and secure regular football with the aim of regaining his place in the Wales squad ahead of next summer's World Cup.

The Tigers are also said to be closing in on the signing of Hamilton Accies goalkeeper Kerr Reynolds. A regular with the Scotland youth age groups, the 16-year-old would link up with the Tigers' academy.

Former Hull City midfielder Ryan Mason will remain at Tottenham after recent talks with Anderlecht over their managerial position. Spurs granted first-team coach Mason permission to speak with the Belgian Pro League club this week about potentially replacing Brian Riemer, who was dismissed on September 19.

However, Anderlecht announced they had decided to permanently hire interim boss David Hubert and Mason will therefore stay part of Ange Postecoglou's coaching staff at Tottenham.

The PA news agency report that after initial discussions between Mason and Anderlecht officials, both parties mutually decided it was not the right time for either of them to press forward with further talks over the managerial vacancy.

Once-capped England international Mason holds huge respect for Anderlecht following their approach earlier this month, but the 33-year-old has thoroughly enjoyed being part of Postecoglou's project at Tottenham over the past 16 months.

Thimothée Lo-Tutala says it was a no-brainer to pen a new contract at Hull City after the club approached him about extending his stay in East Yorkshire.

City have agreed a new four-year deal with the French Under-20 international with the club holding the option of extending that by a further 12 months to the summer of 2029, should he remain at the club for that length of time.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper has never played a competitive game for the Tigers since joining from Tottenham Hotspur two years ago, though he has been named on the bench on 24 occasions, but says the chance to continue his education at City was a key factor in staying, something he didn't feel he would get had he of stayed in North London.

Lo-Tutala, who now finds himself behind Ivor Pandur and summer arrivals Anthony Racioppi and Carl Rushworth, has spent loan spells at Stevenage and Doncaster Rovers, before returning to City during the summer, a period which was hampered by injury with him taking no part in the pre-season trip to Istanbul, despite being part of the travelling party.

“It’s a big blessing. Thanks to God and for the club for having that faith and allowing me to stay here to improve and learn," he said after penning his new deal.

“When the club came to me about renewing, it was a no-brainer. I wanted to feel wanted and that’s what I feel. I’ve gained valuable experience that maybe I wouldn’t have gained at Spurs. The style of play has suited me in terms of playing out and breaking the press, getting on the ball. Both loans taught me how to deal with pressure and different types of players and coaches.

"At Stevenage, the style of play was completely different to Donny – you have to adapt so that was a big takeaway. The club is heading in the right direction and hopefully I can help in the near future."
