It’s official, BTS’s comeback world tour is coming to the UK this summer for two shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The K-pop icons have confirmed they will perform two back-to-back shows at the venue on July 6 and 7.

BTS’s London shows will follow on from Zach Bryan, Gorillaz and Bad Bunny’s concerts at the venue this summer.

The group’s record label, Bighit Music, confirmed BTS will be returning to music with their fifth album and a global tour earlier this month.

This week more information on the tour was released with the group’s only UK shows set to take place in London.

BTS last performed in London in 2019 at Wembley Stadium as part of their then Love Yourself World Tour.

At the time they made history as the first ever South Korean group to headline shows at the west London spot.

Tottenham Hotspur are edging closer to completing a double transfer deal this week ahead of taking on West Ham at home in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon.

The visit of the Hammers is the perfect chance for Thomas Frank to pick up a first win since the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on December 28. Spurs have gone four without a victory since then, a painful defeat to Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the FA Cup on Saturday the latest blow.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have not won any of their last 10 league fixtures and defeat to the struggling side could prove fatal for the under pressure Frank. The Tottenham Hotspur boss could be boosted by two new transfer signings.

Conor Gallagher flies to London for Spurs medical

Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher has flown back to the UK this morning ahead of completing a medical with Spurs later today. The Mail reports that the former Chelsea and Crystal Palace man is set to complete a £34.7 million to Tottenham Hotspur, but that personal terms are still to be finalised.

Gallagher had been linked with Aston Villa on a loan-to-buy move but Spurs rushed in to pounce on that deal after it emerged that Rodrigo Bentancur would miss most of the remaining campaign due to a hamstring injury picked up in the 3-2 defeat to AFC Bournemouth.

Lucas Bergvall is also currently out injured with James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski longer term absentees. It’s reported that Spurs had asked Atletico about a straight loan deal but saw that approach turned down.

Atletico paid £34 million to sign Gallagher from Chelsea in 2024. The England international has made 77 appearances for the La Liga giants but had fallen out of favour this season.

Tottenham finalising Souza transfer deal

Meanwhile, Spurs are also finalising a deal for Santos left-back Souza, who is reported to have travelled to London on Monday to work with the club on finalising his transfer.

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to pay €15 million for the 19-year-old with a five-year contract on the table. Souza will provide competition for Djed Spence, who has come under fire for his performances at full-back at times this season.

Destiny Udogie is also an option in that position but has struggled with injuries this term. The 23-year-old is now back in training ahead of a potential return.

Taking to social media platform X over the weekend, AS journalist Eduardo Burgos wrote: “Souza is travelling this Monday to England to undergo the medical exams and sign his contract.

“Santos and Tottenham have already reached a total agreement for the player. It was finalized this afternoon. Five-year contract, until 2031. Santos will receive 15M€, fixed and variables.”

Tottenham Hotspur have successfully hijacked Aston Villa’s move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher after agreeing a £35m deal with the Spanish club.

Villa had come to a verbal agreement on a loan deal with an option to buy for the midfielder but Spurs moved to offer a permanent deal to win the race for the ex-Chelsea man.

The former Crystal Palace midfielder has also been linked with Manchester United but he will be moving to Spurs with an agreement now in place.

Reports in Spain last month said United had been lining up a £26m bid for the midfielder. Gallagher has been a regular in terms of appearances for Atletico this season, playing in 19 La Liga games, but he has only started four of those.

Giving an update on the transfer, Fabrizio Romano said on X: “Conor Gallagher to Tottenham, here we go! The player has just informed Atléti about his decision to join THFC. Spurs set to pay €40m fee, permanent deal to beat Villa. Aston Villa agreed deal with Atlético today but leave race as player didn’t give final green light.”

He then provided a further update saying that Gallagher had agreed a five-year contract with a medical this week. He added: “Tottenham have booked medical for Conor Gallagher later this week as he will sign deal until June 2031.”

Gallagher is well accustomed to the Premier League having played for both Chelsea and Crystal Palace before his move to the Spanish capital.

He played 95 times for Chelsea, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists. He arguably had the best spell of his career at Selhurst Park during a season-long loan with Palace. He scored eight goals and provided five assists for the Eagles.

Former Arsenal star Patrick Vieira was Gallagher’s manager at Palace and said of him during his time there: "Conor has this passion for the game when he is on the field like a Ray Parlour, but I would say he has maybe the quality finishing of a Frank Lampard.

"It is a manager's dream to have a player like Conor because when he is on the field, he will give everything. He is focused, concentrated and will always give his best. This is something that for me is really important."

He added: "I think it is his determination to progress. Every time he is putting his feet on the field, he wants to improve and to challenge himself. We know his quality and we know he can be box-to-box. He can score goals but what is really impressive with him is his work ethic in training every day.

"When you have that kind of determination to challenge yourself and to improve, you will have more chance to succeed."

Tottenham are battling numerous injury problems and Gallagher will hope he can get the chance to make an instant impact at the club - especially with a World Cup coming up this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have endured a tough season to date under the guidance of Thomas Frank. The Dane was picked as their replacement for Ange Postecoglou last summer after catching the eye with fellow Premier League side Brentford. However, his team have struggled for consistency in this campaign and pressure is starting to grow.

The North London outfit were dumped out of the FA Cup at the third round stage by Aston Villa over the weekend. They were beaten 2-1 by Unai Emery’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Frank’s men are back in action on Saturday with a league clash against West Ham at home as they aim to bounce back.

Tottenham Hotspur chief Fabio Paratici set to leave, says David Ornstein

Spurs co-sporting director Fabio Paratici is set to leave for Fiorentina this winter, says journalist David Ornstein. The Italian is poised for a return to Italy at the end of the January transfer window. He has been with his current club since joining them back in June 2021.

In this latest update regarding his situation in England, The Athletic reporter Ornstein has posted on X: “Fabio Paratici set to exit Tottenham Hotspur after current transfer window. Co-sporting director helping #THFC in January market before return to Italy for personal reasons. Expected to join Fiorentina.”

Paratici, 53, first linked up with Spurs five years ago. He was responsible for the arrival of Antonio Conte as manager and oversaw signings like Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski, among others. He resigned from his position in 2023 before re-joining in October last year.

As a player, the Borgonovo Val Tidone-born man was a defender and he had spells with the likes of Sassuolo, Palermo and Lecce. He hung up his boots in 2004 after a final stint at Brindisi. Paratici has since held behind-the-scenes roles at Sampdoria and Juventus.

What now for Tottenham Hotspur?

Spurs need to hit some form soon and rise up the table. They are currently sat in 14th place in the league after 21 fixtures and have 27 points on the board. The North London outfit finished 17th in the division in the last campaign but managed to win the Europa League under Postecoglou.

Frank’s move hasn’t worked out yet though and it remains to be seen how much time he will be given if things don’t improve. He has the chance to bring in some new faces over the coming weeks before the end of the January transfer window to try and freshen things up. Frank also has the opportunity to sell some more players to free up space and funds in his squad.

Spurs will need to find a replacement for Paratici. He will link up with a Fiorentina side who are in the drop zone in Serie A after a tough term to date. They are inside the bottom three along with Pisa and Hellas Verona and are two points from safety behind Genoa in 17th after their 1-1 draw with AC Milan last time out.

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed the latest clue in their reported pursuit of Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush as the weeks of the January transfer window continue to tick by.

Spurs are expected to be busy in the window this month but are yet to confirm any marquee signings despite poor results on the pitch. Thomas Frank’s side were booted out of the FA Cup after a 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

Dominic Solanke returned to the matchday squad and came off the bench at the weekend in a boost to Thomas Frank but, with Mohammed Kudus now sidelined with injury, adding attacking impetus remains a priority.

Tottenham Hotspur linked with Manchester City striker swoop

One target who has emerged over the recent weeks is Manchester City man Marmoush. The 26-year-old only arrived at the Etihad Stadium from Eintracht Frankfurt a year ago but has fallen down the pecking order this season.

Marmoush bagged eight goals and three assists over the back end of last season but now struggles to get into the starting XI following the arrival of Rayan Cherki. The signing of Antoine Semenyo from AFC Bournemouth won’t help his cause either.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has continued to back the Egyptian, who has been involved at the Africa Cup of Nations. Speaking in October, after the versatile forward scored his only goal of the season so far against Swansea City, Guardiola said: “I’m happy for Omar because strikers need goals and for his confidence it will be important, but he’s been injured a long time and of course can play in the position from Erling.

“Erling is important, but of course we know we need them both and having [Omar] back is so nice. We have incredible deliveries with Phil and especially with Rayan Cherki and Nico Gonzalez who is day by day getting better. And is now fundamental for us. But all of them, the ones who came off the bench, John, Josko, Phil, everyone was really good.”

Spurs and Aston Villa handed clue in Marmoush pursuit

CaughtOffside are the latest to carry reports of Spurs interest in Marmoush. It’s expected that any transfer would see Manchester City looking to make back the £59 million paid a year ago but that a loan move could be preferred by Spurs - the North London club struck a similar loan-to-buy deal for Mathys Tel in January last year.

The outlet also names Aston Villa as potential suitors with Unai Emery in the market for a striker. However, both Spurs and the Villains may have their work cut out to complete the move given the latest from Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg.

Taking to social media platform X with the latest on Manchester City outgoings, Plettenberg wrote: “Antoine Semenyo is understood to be lined up to take the squad place of Oscar #Bobb, who could still move in January. Talks are ongoing. Borussia Dortmund are monitoring the situation and are fully informed about all the details. More clubs are keen on Bobb. Omar Marmoush currently wants to stay, despite numerous enquiries, as previously reported.”

That clue would suggest that Spurs must look elsewhere to strengthen their front line. With Guardiola a fan of the player and the striker himself content in Manchester, brokering a move could prove fruitless for Tottenham.

In other news, Tottenham star could be set for surgery and three months out - and it's not Richarlison.

Tottenham Hotspur are reported to have rejected a loan move for centre-back Radu Dragusin from Serie A side AS Roma, days after the player’s agent appeared to green light a potential move to the Italian capital.

Spurs are expected to have a busy January as Thomas Frank struggles to find form in North London. Tottenham were defeated 2-1 at home by Aston Villa and dumped out of the FA Cup on Saturday in the latest blow for the former Brentford boss.

Incomings are expected but, in order to make space on the books, first team stars are also expected to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Brennan Johnson has already completed a move to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace for £35 million this month.

Radu Dragusin makes Tottenham Hotspur return after injury

Another player linked with an exit from the club is defender Radu Dragusin. The 23-year-old has become a fringe player having had to work his way back from a serious knee injury picked up this time last year.

Dragusin made his long awaited comeback off the bench on December 28 against Crystal Palace but those five minutes are the only ones he has played so far this season. Speaking at the time, Frank was asked about rumours over the player’s future.

He said: "Right now, just so happy to see him come on the pitch having been out for nine or 10 months. For him it's a massive step.

"That's the most important thing. I said he needed more training sessions, more games with the U21s, he progressively got better and fitter and that's the main thing. Rumours are rumours."

Spurs rejected AS Roma loan approach

The Daily Mail reports on Sunday that Tottenham have now rejected an ‘approach’ from Roma to take the player on loan. That comes just days after the player’s agent Florin Manea told Rai Sport: “I’m waiting for Tottenham to say yes to Roma before we can get to the heart of the matter. [On Fiorentina] With all due respect, it wouldn’t be the right path for him. Radu has a special bond with Italy. Gladiators are happy in Rome.”

SunSport reports that Spurs are open to letting Dragusin leave the club but only for an ‘acceptable bid’ with a permanent exit preferred over a loan move. The defender is still under contract at the club until 2030.

Tottenham beat competition from Bayern Munich to sign Dragusin from Genoa for around £25 million in the summer of 2024. He has gone on to make 38 appearances for the club.

In other news, Tottenham star could be set for surgery and three months out - and it's not Richarlison.

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £13m deal with Brazilian club Santos to sign 19-year-old left-back Souza - according to several reports.

Tottenham have been keen to add another left-back to their squad as they look to halt their poor run of form that sees them sit 14th in the Premier League table. Tottenham have been heavily interested in the player and saw an initial £8m bid rejected. They have now improved their offer to £13m, which has ben enough to get an agreement in place.

It is Spurs’ first incoming deal of the January window with a handful of loan exits already confirmed along with the permanent departure of Brennan Johnson, who has joined Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in a £35m deal.

Destiny Udogie has been the club’s first-choice left-back since his arrival back in 2023 but has missed the last six games through injury. Archie Gray and Micky van de Ven have been deployed in the position along with Djed Spence, who is traditionally a right-back.

Souza made 24 Brazilian Serie A appearances last season and has a total of 38 senior games for Santos under his belt. He played for Brazil Under-17s in the Under-17 World Cup in November 2023.

The good news for Spurs is that Souza has already been identified as a strong addition. Speaking on Sky Sports News, South American football expert Tim Vickery said: "He is very impressive. He is a 19-year-old left-back, very physically strong. Great footballer and very versatile. He defends well and attacks well.

"Can go on the outside and can also cut in on the inside. He has had a difficult debut season, playing for Santos in a relegation battle and they only just avoided relegation.

"Santos, on the one hand, you have the tradition of Pele and the greatest club side in the world at one point but on the other side they represent a small city. The fans are so demanding.

"For him to come through, fighting relegation, and doing very well, it speaks volumes. He is already on the radar of Carlo Ancelotti for the Brazil team."

Speaking about the club’s January business, manager Thomas Frank said earlier this week: “We are working very, very, very hard to see if we can improve the squad. Johan, Fabio, Vinai, everyone in and around the club, the recruitment department, is doing that. January is a very, very, very difficult window.

“It is very important to get short-term success and long-term success. Everything is linked. So the players we are bringing in, it is because we think they can improve the squad and the team.”

The early days of the January transfer window have seen exit deals dominate the agenda at Tottenham Hotspur but they have reportedly agreed their first incoming deal of the month.

Spurs have sold Brennan Johnson to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in a permanent £35m deal while loan moves have been agreed for Manor Solomon, Kota Takai and Min-hyeok Yang.

Solomon and Yang had been on loan at Villareal and Portsmouth, respectively but both have agreed new moves with the pair heading to Fiorentina and Coventry City. Takai has joined Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.

It has now been reported by talkSPORT and Give Me Sport reporter Ben Jacobs that Spurs have reached an agreement to sign left-back Souza from Brazilian club Santos.

Tottenham have been heavily interested in the player and saw an initial £8m bid rejected. They have now improved their offer to £13m, which has ben enough to get an agreement in place.

Jacobs reported on X: “Spurs reach an agreement with Santos for Brazilian left-back Souza. €15m package, as exclusively revealed earlier in the week. Souza is expected to travel for his medical late-weekend or early next week. He has agreed a five-year contract.”

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also reported on the deal, as he said: “Souza to Tottenham, here we go! Deal in place for €15m fee as verbal agreement has been reached. Travel scheduled on Sunday after deal agreed with agency Bertolucci Sports and Santos accepting payment terms. Documents to be exchanged this weekend then all sealed.”

With a medical booked and everything agreed, the move now appears to be a formality. The 19-year-old has already played 38 times for Santos and will make the move to the Premier League as Tottenham look to improve their options at left-back.

Tottenham are enduring a tough run of form with supporters growing increasingly frustrated. They sit 14th in the Premier League and are eight points outside the Champions League places.

They face a tough task in the FA Cup third round on Saturday as they host Aston Villa, who are currently third in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur club captain Cristian Romero has reportedly communicated his desire to leave the club in the near future.

The Argentine centre-back, who has racked up over 140 appearances for the football club since joining from Atalanta helped the club to a fourth place finish in his debut campaign in 2021/22, finished eighth in his second season and then helped the Lillywhites return to Europe with a fifth place finish in Ange Postecoglou’s first year with the club.

He helped Tottenham win the Europa League last season to end a 17-year streak without any form of silverware and a 41-year wait for a European honour, but was also apart of a team that finished 17th, leading to Postecoglou’s departure.

Romero is thought to be unsatisfied with where the club are at the moment during Thomas Frank’s early months in charge. The North London side are currently in 14th position and are eight points behind fourth placed Liverpool in the race for European football.

Romero reportedly ‘wants to leave’ Tottenham - on one condition

Spanish outlet Fichajes claims Romero ‘wants to leave’ and will hand in a transfer request in the summer if Frank's continued presence at the club is not guaranteed.

The report adds that the World Cup winner is demanding significant investment from the hierarchy to make the team more competitive so that they can seriously challenge for the Premier League title after a challenging 18-month period of results on the pitch.

Romero has played 22 times across all competitions this season, including 17 times in the Premier League. He scored a brace against Newcastle United in a vital 2-2 draw earlier in the campaign and also found the net in the UEFA Super Cup final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.

He’s often been one of the first names on the teamsheet since signing for the club and has rarely missed a game under Frank since the manager’s arrival from Brentford.

Romero appears to blast Tottenham hierarchy following Bournemouth loss

Spurs were dealt more woe on Thursday when they were beaten by Bournemouth in a demoralising 3-2 defeat which was decided by Antoine Semenyo’s final strike for the Cherries.

In an emotional post on social media, Romero initially posted after the match: "At times like this, it should be other people coming out to speak, but they don't - as has been happening for several years now. They only show up when things are going well, to tell a few lies."

However, the post has since been edited to remove the words "to tell a few lies".

Romero's full post now reads: "Apologies to all fans of you who follow us everywhere, who are always there and will continue to be.

"We are responsible, there's no doubt about that. I am the first. But we will keep facing up to it and trying to turn the situation around, for ourselves and for the club.

"At times like this, it should be other people coming out to speak, but they don't - as has been happening for several years now. They only show up when things are going well.

"We'll stay here, working, sticking together and giving our all to turn things around. Especially at times like this, keeping quiet, working harder and moving forward all together is part of football. All together, it will be easier."

Romero is contracted to Tottenham until 2029 but has been linked with Real Madrid in the past.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly holding an ‘emergency meeting’ on Thursday to assess Thomas Frank’s future at the club following a 3-2 defeat to AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

The Cherries bagged a 95th minute winner through Antoine Semenyo in a fairytale goodbye for the winger and that defeat made it just two wins in Spurs’ last 12 matches. Tottenham Hotspur sit 14th in the Premier League after 21 outings this term.

Frank’s fractured relationship with Spurs supporters continues and wasn’t helped by an image of the manager drinking from an Arsenal branded cup prior to kick-off. Speaking about that gaffe after the match, the former Brentford boss said: "I definitely did not notice it. It would be completely stupid of me to take it if I knew.

"It's a little bit sad in football that I need to be asked about it. I would never do something that stupid. I think we're definitely going in the wrong direction if we need to worry about me having a cup with a logo of another club."

It’s believed that Frank was handed the cup, left at the Vitality Stadium by recent visitors Arsenal, by a member of staff. However, combined with the result, it puts even more pressure on the Spurs manager. LondonWorld looks at the current frontrunners who could replace Frank, should he be given his marching orders.

Oliver Glasner

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is currently out of contract at the end of the season. The Austrian, who won the FA Cup and Community Shield with the Eagles last year, is yet to sign a new deal.

Glasner has been outspoken with criticism over a lack of backing from the Crystal Palace board in recent transfer windows, seeing key first team players such as Eberechi Eze leave Selhurst Park. The 51-year-old has earned plaudits for his work in South London and is one of the first names to be linked with managerial vacancies - Manchester United also said to be courting the boss.

Marco Silva

Marco Silva is another Premier League manager who has quietly, but impressively, gone about his business in London. The Fulham head coach has been at Craven Cottage since 2021, taking the club from the Championship to an established Premier League side.

The Portuguese boss is also out of contract come the end of the 2025/26 campaign and is yet to agree a new deal. In November, it had been reported that Fulham offered the manager a new contract but Silva is another who has shared frustrations with the lack of budget and backing available to him.

Jurgen Klopp

Perhaps the most eye-catching of names to be touted as a frontrunner for the Tottenham Hotspur job at this early stage is former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. The German, who won the Premier League and two Champions League titles at Anfield, has not been in the dugout since leaving the club in 2024.

Klopp has kept busy by working as the Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull GmbH but is still just 58 years old, making a return to management at some point in the future a real possibility. That said, the ex Liverpool boss had promised the Anfield faithful never to manager a Premier League rival in the future.

Enzo Maresca

Chelsea parted ways with Enzo Maresca on New Year’s Day after a falling out with the chiefs at Stamford Bridge. The Italian enjoyed a successful season and a half at Stamford Bridge, winning the Conference League, the Club World Cup and qualifying for the Champions League.

The role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would likely allow the 45-year-old more of a say on the direction of the club than at Chelsea but an appointment this month would be a rapid return to management for Maresca. It would, however, allow the former Leicester City boss to remain settled in London.

In other news, Tottenham sign £40m striker, goalkeeper and beat Man Utd to winger in dream XI if transfer rumours are true.
