Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Tottenham's transfer plans ahead of the window's closure in his exclusive newsletter for GIVEMESPORT.

The news comes after reports that Spurs were 'stepping up their efforts' to sign defender Nathan Collins from Frank's former club Brentford. The Irishman has impressed in west London since arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2023, with Frank a known admirer.

The 23-year-old is under contract until June 2029, having penned a fresh five-year extension in December last year.

With 15 minutes left, Pep Guardiola threw on Rodri and Phil Foden. It was Foden who was denied what appeared to be a certain goal when Micky van de Ven appeared from nowhere to tackle. City may have made many late comebacks at the Etihad, but it wasn't to be on this occasion as Spurs held on for a deserved victory.
