Former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with Sergio Reguilon at Fenerbahce.

While Tottenham are expected to sign a few more stars before the end of the transfer window, players who are surplus to requirements are expected to leave the club. Sergio Reguilon is one of the players whose future isn’t certain and according to a report from AS, Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho has asked for the signing of the former Real Madrid academy product.

Spurs forked out around €30 million back in 2020 to sign Reguilon from Los Blancos. While he was quite an important part of their first team in the initial years, the Spanish international has gone down the pecking order at Tottenham. He has spent the last 24 months out on loan and is not considered to be an important part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans moving ahead.

With less than 12 months left on his deal, Spurs are ready to cash in on the 27-year-old who is keen on a move away in search of regular first-team action. There is interest in his services from Turkey. Jose Mourinho seems keen on reuniting with the Spanish left-back at Fenerbahce after having worked together at the North London club back in the day.

Ferdi Kadıoğlu is the first-choice left-back at the Turkish club. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away. If he does end up joining Brighton who are ready to pay €30 million for the Turkish international, Mourinho believes Reguilon could help replace him.

Tottenham have opened talks with AS Monaco for the services of Brazilian full-back Vanderson.

The North London club have done some exceptional transfer business this summer and they are looking to end things on a high with a few more additions to their team in the final weeks of the transfer window. They are looking to reinforce the right-back position and according to a report from UOL, Tottenham are interested in the services of Vanderson and people close to the player feel a move could happen before the transfer deadline.

After long-drawn negotiations with AC Milan, Spurs finally managed to get Emerson Royal off their books. With the Brazilian international no longer at the club, they are looking to bring in another right-back. They want someone who can compete with Pedro Porro for a place in the starting XI and feel the 23-year-old AS Monaco star could be a great fit for them.

After coming up the ranks and making a name for himself at Grêmio, he made the move to the French club in the winter of 2022 in a deal worth €11 million and hasn’t looked back since. While he still has four years left on his deal at Monaco, Tottenham are keen on his signature and they have opened talks with the Ligue 1 outfit.

They are preparing to make a move for him with the Monaco expecting an offer of around €40 million for the youngster. People close to the player believe the two parties could reach an agreement for his transfer with Vanderson being one of the top targets for Spurs heading into the final weeks of the window.

Tottenham are keenly searching the transfer market for new additions to bolster their midfield as the summer window draws to a close.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are looking to further strengthen their midfield following recent signings, suggesting that the club is not finished making moves just yet.

Romano has indicated that Tottenham are eager to enhance their squad depth, focusing particularly on the midfield.

The possible departure of Giovani Lo Celso could provide the opportunity for Spurs to acquire new talent.

If Lo Celso were to leave, the club would have both the financial resources and the roster space to add another midfielder, increasing depth and competition in this vital area.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Romano said:

“I think they will look at something in the midfield.

“From what I’m hearing, they will consider other positions [than rightback]. So, let’s see in the midfield what happens. I think it’s so important to understand what’s going to happen with Lo Celso, because if Lo Celso leaves after Hojbjerg, it could be the case for Tottenham to do something in that position.”

Tottenham have already taken steps to improve their midfield by bringing in talented young players like Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray, who have made a strong impression during pre-season friendlies.

However, the club appears determined to ensure they have sufficient options to tackle the demands of an intense Premier League season.

Speculation has linked Spurs with Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, a versatile midfielder known for his creativity and energy.

Ramsey’s addition could significantly enhance Tottenham’s midfield strength, offering manager Ange Postecoglou more tactical flexibility.

With the transfer deadline looming, the Lilywhites are diligently evaluating their squad requirements and identifying potential candidates to strengthen their team.

Spurs’ active stance in the transfer market highlights its ambition to compete at the highest level and achieve a successful season.

According to HITC, Bournemouth have identified the Brazilian as a strong candidate to replace Solanke.

However, they face competition from a number of clubs including Tottenham who remain in contention for his signature along with Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle United, and West Ham.

The report claims that Tottenham are among the clubs who have held contact with the agent of the highly sought-after striker.

Evanilson joined Porto in 2020 and since then has consistently demonstrated his goal-scoring ability, racking up incredible numbers and establishing himself as a key player for the Portuguese club.

Former Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has shown interest in reuniting with Sergio Reguilon, intending to bring the left-back to Fenerbahce during this transfer window.

As reported by AS, Mourinho views Reguilon as a significant addition to his squad, recognising the Spanish defender’s value and potential.

However, Fenerbahce will face competition in securing Reguilon’s services, as both Galatasaray and Barcelona are also said to be interested in signing him.

Tottenham initially signed Reguilon from Real Madrid when Mourinho was in charge, making this potential reunion particularly noteworthy.

Reguilon is in the final year of his contract with Spurs and has been informed that he is no longer part of Ange’s plans. The Lilywhites are looking to sell the defender to raise funds for new signings that would better fit Postecoglou’s tactical vision.

Spurs already have Destiny Udogie as their main starter for the left-back position. However, they do need another good quality backup.

As the transfer window progresses, Mourinho’s interest in Reguilon could be pivotal in facilitating this move.

For Reguilon, a transfer to Fenerbahce under Mourinho’s guidance could offer a valuable opportunity to rejuvenate his career.

For Tottenham, it would represent a crucial step in their ongoing squad restructuring efforts.

The coming weeks will determine whether this reunion between Mourinho and Reguilon becomes a reality, as Spurs look to finalise their squad ahead of the new season.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a late move for Brazilian right-back Vanderson from AS Monaco.

With Emerson Royal’s having completed his long-awaited move to AC Milan, Spurs are now keen to sign a replacement for him and strengthen their squad before the Premier League season kicks off.

According to the latest from GiveMeSport, Tottenham are genuinely interested in Vanderson.

The 23-year-old has attracted attention from the Lilywhites, and there is a clear desire to bring him to North London.

The report claims that the club might step up their pursuit of Vanderson in the last stages of the transfer window and try to wrap up a deal for him.

The club feels he complements Ange’s style of play and will be the ideal signing for the club.

Vanderson signed with Monaco in January 2022, committing to a contract that extends until June 2027.

During his time at the club, he has displayed considerable potential, appearing in 23 matches across all competitions last season.

He notched three goals and provided one assist, showcasing both his defensive capabilities and his attacking prowess—qualities that align well with Spurs’ objectives.

Securing a player of his skill level would significantly enhance the team’s defensive strength, offering manager Ange Postecoglou increased tactical flexibility and depth in the squad.

As the transfer window approaches its final days, it remains to be seen how this transfer plays out.

Ben Davies wants to run down his deal at Tottenham and leave as a free agent next summer.

The Welsh international joined Spurs back in 2014 after making a name for himself while playing for Swansea. While he has been an integral part of the North London club’s first team over the years, he has gone down the pecking order since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou.

With his contract running out in less than 12 months, Ben Davies’ future at the club has been a big talking point and he has been linked with a move away from the club. But, according to a report from Football Insider, the Tottenham veteran has decided to see out the final year of his contract and leave Spurs as a free agent next summer.

The 31-year-old has featured in 330 matches for the North London club and he has even contributed towards 32 goals (9 goals, 23 assists). While he prefers playing in the heart of the defence, he is equally effective as a left-back. Last season, he was only involved in 19 matches and racked up less than 1,300 minutes. Despite not being a prominent figure last time out, Postecoglou still has no problems having him around as he could prove to be an important squad player.

While reports suggested that the player could look for a move away in search of regular first-team action, he has decided he wants to stay at Tottenham for the 2024/25 season. Spurs need to trim their squad and balance their books in a transfer window where they have already spent a significant amount. Despite that, they are leaning towards keeping the 31-year-old in their team for next season.

Tottenham attacking sensation Alejo Veliz has opened up about his loan move to Espanyol for the 2024/25 season.

Alejo Veliz’s impressive rise at Rosario Central caught the attention of Tottenham who managed to strike a deal with the Argentine club for his services in the summer of 2023. He spent the first half of the season at the English club but hardly got any first-team action. As a result, they ended up sending him out on loan to Sevilla. While he was expected to rack up a few minutes at the Spanish club, things didn’t work out as expected.

Despite the disappointing loan spell at the Spanish club last time out, Veliz decided to make a return to La Liga. The 20-year-old Argentine striker has joined newly promoted Espanyol on a season-long loan. He is expected to have a significant role at his new club and seems more than ready for the challenge.

Veliz has been handed the number nine shirt and he is eager to make his mark for Espanyol. The striker also revealed that he asked his agents to make the move happen at all costs.

Veliz said to Mundo Deportivo: “Since my agents told me that this possibility existed, I told them to push hard because I wanted to come here.”

The 20-year-old wants to settle in and have a good season away from Spurs.

Before signing for Espanyol, the Argentine youth international had a chat with their manager Manolo González who seemed to be quite excited to have the youngster in his ranks.

Tottenham have issued a warning, stating they will only part ways with Giovani Lo Celso if a compelling offer is made.

The Argentine international has had a lot of success at the international stage in recent years but things haven’t worked out for him at club level. He did play an important part in Argentina’s triumph at Copa America but that is unlikely to help him get regular minutes at Tottenham. The North London club are ready to part ways with the utility man but according to a report from TyC Sports, Spurs have ‘warned’ that they will only sell Giovani Lo Celso if a good offer arrives.

He made the move to Tottenham in the summer of 2019. They forked out a significant fee to sign him on a season-long loan before making the move permanent in 2020. While he was expected to become an integral part of the first team, things haven’t gone according to plan for him at the London club. Lo Celso has struggled to get going and with just a year left on his deal, there has been a lot of talk about his future.

Last season, the 28-year-old was involved in just 24 matches, he racked up less than 600 minutes of first-team football. With his contract expiring, Spurs are ready to cash in on Lo Celso and there is interest from Aston Villa as well as Real Betis. Villa are already home to a few Argentine internationals Emiliano Martínez, Emiliano Buendía and Enzo Barrenechea while Betis is a club where he had a lot of success, even if it was just for a season.

While he is way down the pecking order under Ange Postecoglou who is ready to sanction his departure, Spurs have made it quite clear that they will allow Lo Celso to leave only if a good offer arrives on their doorstep. He will only leave London through a sale, a loan move is not an option.
