Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

The 27-year-old left-back was expected to leave Tottenham during the summer transfer window, but a move did not materialise. He is not a key part of their first-team plans and the Spanish defender needs to move on and search regular playing time. He was on loan at Brentford and Manchester United last season.

According to Fichajes, the defender would be ‘living out his final days’ in Tottenham and the Spanish club are keen to secure his signature. It will be interesting to see if the clubs can work out a deal in the coming weeks.

Tottenham will be desperate to get rid of him and the player will want to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football as well. A move back to his homeland would be ideal for Reguilon. Regular football at Getafe could help him regain his confidence and sharpness.

He was regarded as a quality player during his time at Sevilla, but he has not managed to recapture that level in recent years. The move to England has not worked out for him and a return to La Liga would be ideal.

Meanwhile, Spurs could use defensive reinforcements in January and they need to sign a quality central defender. Getting rid of their fringe players will free up the wage bill and allow them to bring in their own signings.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. He has been linked with Fenerbahce as well.

The defender is still very much at the peak of his powers and regular football could help him get his career back on track. He could be a key player for the Spanish club if they can get the deal done. Given his situation at Tottenham, he could be available for a reasonable price.

Manchester City are looking at the Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro as a replacement for Kyle Walker.

The England international is in his twilight years and he will need to be replaced adequately. According to Football Insider, Manchester City believe that Porro would fit like a glove in Pep Guardiola’s system, and they are currently laying the groundwork to re-sign him.

Porro came through Manchester City Academy and it will be interesting to see if the 25-year-old decides to return to his former club. He was at Manchester City between 2019 to 2022, but he left the club without making any first-team appearances for them.

The Spanish international has now established himself as a key player for his club and country. He’s undoubtedly one of the best full-backs in the league right now, and he could prove to be the ideal acquisition for Manchester City.

Not only would he help out defensively, but he is also exceptional going forward and he could add a new dimension to their attack.

Meanwhile, the player has been linked with Real Madrid as well. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to sanction his departure in the coming months.

The defender has scored eight goals and picked up 10 assists in 63 appearances for the north London club and he is a key player for them. His departure would weaken the squad massively and Spurs need to hold onto players of his calibre if they want to fight for major trophies.

Selling him to a direct rival would be a devastating blow for Tottenham.

However, Manchester City have the financial muscle to tempt them, and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

The Spaniard is well-settled in the Premier League, and he could make an instant impact at Manchester City if he joins the club.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu.

The 19-year-old has done quite well in Italian football and he is on the radar of multiple European clubs. According to a report from Football Insider, he is one of the finest young talents in European football and his performances have attracted the attention of Tottenham.

The North London club have implemented a new transfer strategy since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou. They have invested in multiple young talents and they are ready to pursue a move for the 19-year-old as well.

Dorgu can operate as a left-back as well as a left-sided wing-back. Apart from his defensive skills, he is quite effective going forward. He could be a defensive winger for Spurs as well, depending on tactics and opposition.

Tottenham could use Patrick Dorgu

The 19-year-old is a prodigious talent with a bright future ahead of himself. He could prove to be a solid long-term investment for Tottenham if they can get the deal done. However, they will have to make space for him in the first-team squad. They have Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies as their left-back options right now. Davies is well past his peak and replacing him with Dorgu could prove to be a wise decision.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham submit an offer to sign the defender in the coming weeks. They could certainly use more quality and depth in the side, especially if they want to do well across multiple competitions. The 19-year-old could develop into a star for them. Competition for places will help them improve as a team as well.

A move to the Premier League will be an exciting opportunity for the young defender and it could help him develop further. Regular football in England could accelerate his development.

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the LOSC Lille striker Jonathan David in the coming months.

The 24-year-old striker will be a free agent in the summer of 2025 and he is yet to sign an extension with the French outfit. According to a report from TuttoJuve, Tottenham are in the running to sign the player and they will face competition from several european heavyweights. Premier League rivals Aston Villa are keen on signing the player as well.

The report from the Italian publication claims ‘watch out for Tottenham’, as clubs queue up for the Canadian international.

There have been rumours that Fabio Paratici could play a key role in the move as well.

David has done quite well for the French outfit in recent seasons and he has started the current campaign in fine form as well. The 24-year-old striker has eight goals and two assists to his name in all competitions. He could prove to be an exceptional acquisition for Tottenham, especially on a free transfer. The North London club will be able to secure a pre-contract agreement with him in January. If they can sign him for free, it would be a masterstroke for the Premier League side.

Tottenham could use another striker

They could certainly use more quality and depth in the attacking unit. Although they have signed Dominic Solanke earlier this season, they need another reliable goalscorer to support him. The Canadian seems like the ideal acquisition on paper and his arrival would allow them to invest in the other areas of their squad as well.

The 24-year-old has proven himself in French football, and he has the technical attributes to do well in the Premier League as well. He will want to play for a club capable of pushing for trophies and moving to Tottenham will be an exciting opportunity. He will look to prove himself in the Premier League and hit the ground running at the North London club if the transfer goes through.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo.

The 24-year-old has done quite well in the Premier League this season and he could prove to be a quality addition to the London club.

Semenyo is on the radar of Newcastle United as well and a report from Football Insider claims that he will cost around £40-50 million.

Tottenham could use more depth in the attack, but the asking price could be a problem. They will need to strengthen the other areas of their squad as well and spending close to £50 million on Semenyo might not be ideal.

Spurs need a quality central defender and a central midfielder.

Meanwhile, Semenyo will be hoping to join a big club soon. A move to Spurs would be an exciting opportunity for him. He would get to compete at a high level and Spurs might be able to provide him with European football as well.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with an offer to sign the player. Ange Postecoglou is reportedly a fan of the player.

Tottenham need more attacking depth

The North London club will look to push for trophies in the coming seasons and they will need to add more depth and quality to the side. Semenyo will add more cutting-edge and unpredictability to their attack.

Since moving to Tottenham, Richarlison has not lived up to expectations, and the Brazilian has been linked with an exit from the club. Semenyo could be an interesting replacement if the South American is sold in the coming months.

However, the Cherries will have to be more reasonable with their demands in order for the move to go through.

Newcastle are keen on attacking reinforcements as well and they have the resources to pay the asking price. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Financial expert praises Daniel Levy for astute off

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has earned praise for securing another savvy off-the-field deal that strengthens the club’s financial position.

Football finance expert Dan Plumley recently highlighted Levy’s business expertise after Spurs announced a new three-year partnership with Ant International, a global digital payment and financial technology company.

Under this agreement, Ant International will become Tottenham’s Official Global Payment Solutions and Digital Wallet Partner. Plumley pointed out that while deals like these may not always generate buzz among fans, they are crucial for increasing the club’s revenue streams.

He emphasised that such commercial partnerships, even if perceived as unconventional, are a sharp move by Levy and the Spurs leadership to capitalise on financial opportunities.

Plumley compared Tottenham’s strategy to that of clubs like Manchester United, which has built an extensive network of official partners across various sectors.

For Spurs, this partnership with Ant International represents a further step in expanding their commercial reach and enhancing their already significant portfolio of sponsors.

Daniel Levy praised for pulling off a smart commercial deal

Speaking to Tottenham News, the finance guru commented:

“Absolutely it’s a smart deal. You see some of these, what might be considered obscure commercial deals where people become official patterns of this and that and Manchester United were one of the early blueprints for that.”

“Many years ago, they had 32 different official partners that stretched all the way across various different products and services.”

“It’s a way to generate additional revenue and Tottenham have always been very astute when it comes to this.”

“We know how Daniel Levy operates, this seems like another example of that. It goes back to that wider point around the importance of growing commercial partnerships and squeezing that where you can is still an area of growth potential for clubs.”

Under Levy’s leadership, the Lilywhites have consistently prioritised brand development, both on and off the field. The club has attracted major partners such as Nike and AIA, securing lucrative sponsorship deals that have helped boost Tottenham’s global presence.

These partnerships not only generate revenue but also enhance the club’s international image, attracting top football talent and reinforcing Spurs as a prominent brand in world football.

Levy’s approach to business growth has consistently proven effective, and this new deal with Ant International is another example of his ability to secure partnerships that contribute to the club’s financial health and long-term stability.

With Levy at the helm, Spurs fans can look forward to continued off-the-field growth as the club builds a strong commercial foundation, complementing the work being done on the pitch under manager Ange Postecoglou.

This is not the first time Levy has been praised for his financial acumen. He has time ang again proven to pull off deals that have been financially lucrative for the club, both on and off the pitch.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Djed Spence has signed a contract extension, keeping the full-back at the club until the summer of 2028.

After a strong start to the season, Djed Spence has earned the trust of manager Ange Postecoglou, securing a place in his long-term plans. This contract renewal underscores Tottenham’s belief in his potential.

Spurs officially announced the new deal on their website with the following statement:

“We are delighted to announce that Djed Spence has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2028.”

Spence first joined Spurs in July 2022 for a reported £20 million, after a successful loan spell at Nottingham Forest, where he was instrumental in their promotion to the Premier League.

His standout performances that season earned him a spot in both the EFL Championship Team of the Season and the PFA Championship Team of the Season, highlighting his growing reputation as a top young talent.

Antonio Conte at the time of signing him insisted that he was not his preferred signing and rather, the club’s signing.

Upon arriving at Tottenham, Spence made his debut in a Premier League match against his former side, Nottingham Forest. However, his first season with the club saw limited opportunities, and he spent time on loan at Rennes and Genoa to gain more experience.

During his loan stint in Serie A, Spence showcased his versatility, making 16 appearances for Genoa, where he played on both flanks in defence and midfield.

Djed Spence’s turnaround at Tottenham

This season, Spence has re-established himself in the Tottenham squad. He had an outstanding pre-season which convinced Ange to keep him at the club rather than loaning him out.

He made his first appearance in the 2024–25 season in a 1-1 draw against Leicester City and scored his first competitive goal for Spurs in a 2-1 EFL Cup win over Coventry City, demonstrating his growing confidence and value to the team.

With his new contract, Tottenham have shown their belief in Spence’s potential to become a key player for the club. His versatility, solid defensive skills, and attacking contributions make him a crucial part of Postecoglou’s squad as they push for success across multiple competitions.

Spurs fans will be excited to watch Spence’s continued growth under Postecoglou’s management, with high hopes for his future at the club.

Club insider makes interesting claim regarding potential new Tottenham investment

Amanda Staveley’s potential Tottenham investment has generated a flurry of speculation, with football insider John Wenham weighing in on the matter.

Wenham, host of the popular Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, suspects that behind-the-scenes discussions may be underway between Staveley and the club’s leadership.

Staveley, a well-known figure in football investment, was recently spotted at the NFL game between the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Her presence has fuelled rumours that she might be close to an investment in the North London club.

John Wenham weighs in on Tottenham investment talks

Wenham highlighted that Spurs has always been open to external investment, but historically, this has leaned toward securing minority stakes rather than a complete takeover.

He pointed out that while it’s unclear if Staveley’s potential involvement would lead to significant changes in the club’s operations, her reputation suggests the possibility of a more influential role.

To illustrate, Wenham referred to Manchester United’s situation with Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who holds a minority stake but still wields substantial influence. This comparison raises the possibility that Staveley could bring a similar level of impact to Spurs, despite holding only a minority stake.

However, there has been previous claims that she may find it challenging to influence the well-established operations at Spurs due to Levy’s strong relationship.

Speaking to Tottenham News, Wenham said:

“I think we can safely say something is happening there.

“At all times Tottenham are open to investment opportunities, they’ve made that clear in the past. However, it has always been as a minority investment rather than a full takeover.

“Therefore, I don’t know how much difference we would notice if Staveley and her consortium did come in. However, I could be wrong, because Sir Jim Ratcliffe has a minority stake at Manchester United but seems to be the one in total control.

“Time will tell on this. However, there does seem to be something there.”

Staveley is no stranger to high-profile football deals. She played a key role in directing the Saudi-led takeover of Newcastle United in 2021, securing a 10% ownership stake alongside the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Earlier this year, she and her husband sold their remaining shares in Newcastle, which had dropped to 6%, signalling their interest in pursuing new ventures—potentially with Tottenham.

While the specifics of any potential deal remain uncertain, Wenham is convinced that something significant is in the works.

Eberechi Eze: Spurs insider gives worrying update about pursuit of Palace star

Tottenham Hotspur may find themselves priced out of a move for Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze.

That’s according to the club’s former scout, Mick Brown, who thinks the £68m release clause in the England international’s contract will prove too much for most potential suitors.

Eze has established himself as one of the most exciting attacking players in the Premier League since joining Palace in 2020.

Last season alone, the 26-year-old notched 11 goals and four assists in 27 Premier League outings to help Palace finish 10th.

Eze’s form was rewarded with a place in England’s Euro 2024 squad, helping the Three Lions reach the final where they were beaten 2-1 by Spain.

And despite Palace’s struggles, Eze’s form hasn’t relented at the start of this season, with three goals and an assist on the board in nine appearances across all competitions.

Spurs to be priced out of Eberechi Eze?

Michael Olise left Palace for Bayern Munich in the summer, with Eze and Marc Guehi also heavily linked with an exit before ultimately staying at Selhurst Park.

Speculation continues to follow Eze, with Spurs among those most strongly linked with the forward.

However, according to Brown — who served as a scout at White Hart Lane between 2010 and 2022 — Eze won’t be going anywhere unless Palace are willing to negotiate a fee below his £68m release clause.

“I don’t think clubs will be meeting that release clause,” Brown said (via CaughtOffside). “Somewhere down the line, I would expect him to leave Palace, but they won’t get that price for him.

“Palace have got to have bids on the table before they can start making demands and that didn’t happen in the summer.

“He’s a very talented player, there’s no doubt about that, but I think he’s a player who needs support.

“He needs players around him who can feed him the ball and let him do his thing.”

Paul Gascoigne accuses Spurs players of disrespecting Ange Postecoglou

Paul Gascoigne believes Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou is being let down by a group of players who don’t respect him.

There’s no doubt Postecoglou has improved Spurs from the Antonio Conte era. The Lilywhites play an exciting brand of football and returned to European competition with their fifth-place finish last season.

However, their nasty habit of defensive collapses has been a source of frustration, costing Spurs a place in the top four last season. Most recently, Tottenham threw away a two-goal half-time lead to lose 3-2 away at Brighton just before the international break.

As a result, Spurs now sit ninth in the Premier League with 10 points from seven games, four adrift of the Champions League places.

Gascoigne accuses Spurs players of disrespecting Ange Postecoglou

Former Spurs midfielder Gascoigne believes Postecoglou’s problems are caused by a group of players disrespecting him due to his nationality, going out onto the pitch to merely collect a salary rather than win football matches.

“Getting rid of Harry Kane, that was a shock he went to Bayern Munich and not Real Madrid. They just seem to be dependent on [Heung-min] Son and if he’s not in form, then they seem to be struggling,” Gascoigne said (via Spurs Web).

“They’ve got so much money, you’ve got to buy players and the manager, he’s foreign, isn’t he? Australian. The managers I played for, I respected them so much that I wanted to play so well for them.

“And I just feel like some of the players are letting him down, thinking, ‘he’s from Australia, he doesn’t really know much about English football’, and just f***ing going out there to play the game and collect their wages.”

Spurs must now make amends for their collapse at Brighton when they face West Ham United this weekend in the first game back from the October international break.
