Tottenham Hotspur are keenly observing Crystal Palace’s star Eberechi Eze as a prime transfer target for this summer.

Despite considerable interest from Spurs and Manchester City, Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge reports that the England international is not on the verge of leaving Selhurst Park.

Eze, who has a £68 million release clause, has been a standout for Crystal Palace. His performance last season, where he scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 27 Premier League appearances, has attracted attention from several top clubs. (Transfermarkt)

His inclusion in England’s final 26-man squad for the recent Euros further highlights his potential impact at the international level.

Bridge notes that while Tottenham greatly admires Eze’s abilities, there are no advanced negotiations or imminent plans to acquire the attacking midfielder.

The journalist suggests that the 26-year-old might benefit from another season at Crystal Palace, where he can remain a key player. This additional time could help him further develop his skills and prepare for a future move to a top club.

From Spurs’ perspective, securing a player of Eze’s calibre would significantly strengthen their squad. With Son Heung-min ageing, adding a dynamic and versatile winger like Eze could provide the necessary depth and creativity needed for future success.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Bridge said:

“There’s nothing forward in terms of [Eberechi] Eze. I know I’ve seen reports about Manchester City if Kevin de Bruyne was to leave, but Pep Guardiola has come out and said that’s not happening. I know Tottenham like Eze, but my understanding is that there is nothing close for anything in terms of him.

“He hasn’t – as it stands – come out and said he wants to move. Perhaps another season at Palace might do him some good, being the key player there, and then see where he goes with the De Bruyne’s and other key players maybe leaving top clubs.

“Son Heung-min is getting a year older, and maybe just one more season at Palace would do him some good.”

However, the Lilywhites may need to wait until circumstances align more favourably before making a decisive move. Eze’s current contract with Palace, extended until the summer of 2027, ensures that any transfer would require substantial negotiation.

Tottenham remains prepared to act when the right opportunity arises while acknowledging that Eze might be the right man to join Ange Postecoglou’s attacking ranks.

Tottenham Hotspur signed the highly-rated midfielder Archie Gray from Leeds United earlier this summer for a fee close to be around £40 million.

The 18-year-old has committed to a six-year contract with Spurs, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2030.

Since joining the North London club, Gray has quickly earned the trust of manager Ange Postecoglou.

He has started in all three of Tottenham’s pre-season friendlies, showcasing his versatility by even playing as a centre-back out of necessity. Gray’s adaptability on the field has been one of his standout traits.

Gray was a standout performer for Leeds last season, excelling in various roles including right-back and central midfield.

He made 52 appearances across all competitions, demonstrating his adaptability and earning the EFL Championship Young Player of the Season award.

Former Tottenham striker Robbie Keane has lauded the signing of Gray, highlighting the teenager’s immense potential and commendable character.

Keane believes Gray will be a significant addition to the Spurs squad and sees Tottenham as an ideal environment for the young player’s development.

Keane, who coached Gray at Leeds, is eager to see how Postecoglou will utilise the Englishman in the upcoming season.

Speaking exclusively to The Boy Hotspur Substack, Keane said:

“I’d like to see Tottenham up there with the leaders but they certainly need a few more players. I know Archie Gray very well, having coached him at Leeds, and I think he’s a great signing for Spurs. His potential is very, very high and he’s a lovely lad.

“Tottenham is a really good fit for him, and I think he’s got a great chance to go all the way. He played a lot at right-back for Leeds last season, but he is definitely a midfield player so I’m interested to see where Ange Postecoglu plays him.”

As Spurs prepare for the new season, all eyes will be on how Postecoglou integrates Gray into the team.

The midfielder’s versatility and talent make him a promising addition to the squad, and his development will be keenly watched.

Tottenham are now intent on bolstering their attacking line-up this summer, with Wolves’ Pedro Neto being a key target.

The Portuguese winger’s agent is actively pursuing a transfer from Wolves, aiming to secure a move to a club with greater ambitions during the current transfer window.

Former Tottenham striker Robbie Keane has expressed strong support for signing the Wolves winger.

Despite being under contract until June 2027, Neto is likely to leave Wolves if a substantial offer is presented.

Neto demonstrated considerable potential last season, even though he endured injury setbacks that sidelined him for a total of four months due to hamstring issues.

In 24 appearances across the Premier League and FA Cup, he scored three goals and provided 11 assists, underlining his influence on the pitch.

Keane believes that acquiring Neto would be a tactical move for Spurs, given his talent and game-changing abilities.

He also stated that signing Neto would be a fantastic addition to the squad and would undoubtedly excite the fans.

Keane has also previously recommended signing Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, who he believes perfectly fits Tottenham’s style.

He suggests that bringing in both Neto and Eze would greatly enhance Spurs’ attacking ranks and align with the club’s ambitions.

Speaking exclusively to The Boy Hotspur Substack, Keane said:

“Tottenham have also been linked with Pedro Neto, who I would sign straight away, and Eberechi Eze, who I said they should sign four years ago. I think he’s a real Tottenham player. They are both really exciting players and I think the fans would be very happy if they got both of them.”

As the Lilywhites look to strengthen their squad, adding Neto would bring a dynamic and creative presence to the wings. With his proven track record and potential for growth, Neto could play a crucial role in helping Spurs achieve their goals for the upcoming season.

Gil joined Tottenham from Sevilla in the summer of 2021 on a five-year contract for a fee of €25 million.

He joined with a high reputation but failed to make a mark at the club. In his first season, he logged only 85 minutes across nine league games, leading to a loan to Valencia in January, where he impressed.

Upon his return to North London the following season, Gil was loaned out again in January, this time to old club Sevilla.

His third season with Spurs began with an injury that sidelined him for several months. After recovering, Gil continued to struggle for regular playing time under new manager Ange Postecoglou, making only 11 Premier League appearances and totalling just 201 minutes on the pitch.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Fiorentina defender Michael Kayode.

According to a report via SportWitness, Spurs want to sign the 20-year-old defender and they would have to pay in excess of €20 million.

Aston Villa were keen on the defender as well and the West Midlands club have had a €15 million offer rejected for him. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with a lucrative proposal to sign the player.

Kayode is highly rated around Europe and he has a bright future. He could be the ideal long-term replacement for Emerson Royal, who is expected to leave Tottenham this summer. AC Milan are closing in on a deal to sign the Brazilian.

The 19-year-old would be the ideal understudy to Pedro Porro and he could fill the void left by Royal this summer. The reported asking price seems reasonable for a player of his ability and potential. He is likely to improve with coaching and experience. He could easily justify the investment in the long term.

Meanwhile, the report claims that Newcastle United are keeping tabs on the talented young defender as well. The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be quite exciting for Kayode, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

He needs to join a club where he will get ample game time. Sitting on the bench at a big club is unlikely to benefit him at this stage of his career.

Tottenham have a proven track record when it comes to nurturing young players, and they could help him fulfil his potential.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Emerson Royal has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

The 25-year-old is not a regular starter for the North London club and he needs to leave in search of regular playing time. AC Milan are prepared to provide him with an exit route. The Italian giants are working to get the deal done and Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the player is ‘one step away’ from joining Milan this summer. He added that the transfer is ‘closer than ever’, and the two parties are likely to conclude an agreement soon.

Emerson Royal will look to get his career back on track with regular football and a move to Milan would be ideal for him. He is unlikely to be a regular starter for Tottenham next season. Pedro Porro is the first choice right back at the club and it would be ideal for the Brazilian to move on.

Meanwhile, Tottenham will be able to invest the proceeds from his departure into the playing squad. They need more quality and depth in the side if they want to secure Champions League qualification and push for trophies.

The Brazilian could be a useful squad player for the Italian club next season. He is versatile enough to operate as the right back as well as the left back. He has shown his quality in La Liga and in the Premier League. There is no doubt that he has the physical and technical attributes to succeed in Serie A as well.

Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on securing his signature and they have already met with the player’s agent Fali Ramadani.

According to Gazzetta, the player’s agent is currently in London and he has already spoken to Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea regarding a potential move. It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done.

Meanwhile, a report from TuttoJuve claims that the winger is valued at around €25-30 million. Tottenham certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done and they should look to bring a quality winger like him this summer. Chiesa is versatile enough to operate on both flanks and he will add goals and creativity to the side.

The report further states that Chiesa is keen on a move to the Premier League. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can beat the competition from Chelsea and secure his signature.

They will be hoping to secure Champions League qualification for the next season and do well in the domestic trophies. They will need that extra bit of quality in the final third and the Italian could transform them.

Meanwhile, Chelsea need more attacking quality as well. Players like Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk have been quite underwhelming. Chiesa could prove to be an upgrade on them. The Italian international will be tempted to join big clubs like Tottenham and Chelsea and it remains to be seen where he ends up.
