Tottenham are gearing up for the summer transfer window with a focused intent on strengthening their squad, eyeing promising young talents.

Among their potential targets is Archie Gray, an emerging star from Leeds United.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 18-year-old Gray has garnered significant interest from top clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool, and Borussia Dortmund.

However, Tottenham have been closely monitoring Gray’s situation, recognising his potential fit within their long-term plans.

Gray has demonstrated his versatility and skill by excelling in roles as both a right-back and central midfielder throughout the last season.

Under the management of Daniel Farke, Gray started in 87% of league games, making a total of 52 appearances across all competitions .

His standout contributions earned him the EFL Championship Young Player of the Season award, playing a crucial role in Leeds’s strong league finish.

Currently under contract at Elland Road until June 2028, a potential transfer would likely require a substantial fee, estimated at around £30 million.

While Chelsea and Dortmund have shown concrete interest, no formal bids have been submitted by any club, as confirmed by Romano.

Tottenham remain actively engaged in scouting Gray, though they have not yet made an official offer to Leeds.

Speaking on his YouTube channel in a quick update live show, Romano said:

“For Archie Gray, I can tell you that Chelsea have been scouting the player, for sure he is a player they appreciate but also, Borussia Dortmund is the same. Dortmund are keeping a close eye on the situation of Gray.

At the moment, no bid, just interest and we will see what clubs like Manchester United and others do in this situation because many other clubs are scouting the player.

“But at the moment the two clubs with concrete interest at Chelsea and Dortmund but for example, Tottenham have also been following the player closely, so let’s see who is going to move in terms of the bid, but still nothing official to Leeds United.”

Spurs view Gray as a valuable addition capable of providing dependable backup for Pedro Porro and adding depth to the midfield. His versatility aligns well with the tactical vision of manager Ange Postecoglou.

As the transfer window progresses, Tottenham fans will be keenly watching to see if the club can secure Gray’s signature, potentially adding another rising star to their roster and bolstering their squad for the upcoming season.

Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up to intensify their pursuit of Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze following the conclusion of Euro 2024.

According to The Times, Spurs are confident they can secure Eze’s signature once the tournament in Germany wraps up.

Eze, who extended his contract with Palace last November until the summer of 2027, has been a primary target for Tottenham for several months.

Spurs are prepared to make a substantial investment to bring the player to North London, potentially setting a new club record for a signing.

The Lilywhites believe they can beat the competition for Eze’s signature and are undeterred by the England international’s £60 million release clause.

Eze’s exceptional performance last season, with 11 goals and four assists in 27 Premier League appearances, highlighted his quality.

These numbers could improve even further with the support of the squad under manager Ange Postecoglou.

The Lilywhites are ready to meet his release clause and add an additional £8 million in potential add-ons, bringing the total to £68 million.

Selected for England’s final 26-man squad for the Euros, Eze’s talent has been on full display. Despite the competition for places in Gareth Southgate’s side, Eze’s inclusion highlights his talent and potential impact.

Tottenham’s interest in Eze aligns with their strategy to bolster their squad with a dynamic talent.

His versatility and creative flair make him an ideal fit for Postecoglou’s attacking plans.

This move underscores Tottenham’s ambition and readiness to compete at the highest levels.

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have been scouting Galatasaray. winger Barış Alper Yılmaz at Euro 2024.

Ange Postecoglou had a decent first season at Tottenham but in order to help them take the next step, he wants to complete a major overhaul at the club.

While the focus is on reinforcing almost every position on the pitch, the priority is to add more firepower to their attack. They are on the lookout for players who can add something different to their frontline and according to Uğur Karakullukçu, Tottenham are scouting Galatasaray attacker Barış Alper Yılmaz.

The Turkish sports commentator said via Habersarikirmizi: “Manchester United and Tottenham watched Barış Alper in the Czech Republic – Turkey match. I confirmed it. If he continues like this, it looks like they will continue to watch.”

Yilmaz contributed towards 19 goals (7 goals, 12 assists) in the 2023/24 season and he seems to have carried his sensational form into Euro 2024. He has played every minute of Turkiye’s campaign so far and has helped them secure a place in the knockout stage.

The 24-year-old might not have found the back of the net yet but his general play has been exceptional and clubs have been keeping a close eye on him. Manchester United are one of the clubs who are interested in his services as they look to reinforce their flanks after a poor season last time out.

But, Tottenham have also entered the race and their representatives were present in the stands to watch him in action against Czechia. If he continues to perform at similar levels, Spurs are expected to continue monitoring him as they look for someone who can bolster their attack.

Yılmaz prefers playing on the right flank but he is someone who can feature anywhere in attack as even as a full-back if needed. Postecoglou would love to have someone as versatile as the Turkish international in his squad. However, it is still early stages and no moves have been made so far.

Sampdoria are ready to sanction the departure of Giovanni Leoni for just €5 million amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs are always on the lookout for young players who can help them in the long run and they seem to have found a gem in the Italian second division. Giovanni Leoni’s impressive performances for Sampdoria have put him on the radar of multiple top clubs and Tottenham are one of them.

According to a report via FC Inter1908, Sampdoria are ready to make their teenage defensive sensational available for just €5 million. But, they will only do so on one condition, the player has to be allowed to continue his development at the Italian club for at least another year.

Leoni joined Sampdoria on loan from Padova at the start of the year. The 17-year-old centre-back featured in 12 matches for the Serie B outfit and he even managed to find the back of the net once. His impressive performances and his huge potential have resulted in a lot of interest.

Napoli and Inter Milan are both keen on his signature and they will look to push Tottenham for the services of the youngster. Meanwhile, staying at Sampdoria for another year could be ideal for Leoni and he would get to continue his development with regular football.

Ideally, Tottenham should not have a problem accepting Sampdoria’s demands as Leoni will be a long-term prospect for them. They should focus on his development for now. It remains to be seen whether they can beat the competition for his signature.

Crystal Palace target Marcus Edwards would favour a return to his former club Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have been linked with their former academy graduate Marcus Edwards as they look to add more depth to the flanks. Crystal Palace are pushing hard for his signature but according to Record, the Sporting CP forward wants to return to his former club instead.

Edwards came up the ranks at Tottenham and was a part of their club for 12 years before joining Vitória Guimarães in 2019. Spurs secured a 50% sell-on clause when they decided to part ways with the winger. While he did make a move to Sporting CP in the winter of 2022, Tottenham are still entitled to 30% of his future sell-on fee.

The 25-year-old is an important part of Ruben Amorim’s first team and he even contributed towards 15 goals (6 goals, 9 assists) last season. While he still has two years left on his deal, the player seems keen on making a return to England and he could be available for a fee of around €20-30 million this summer.

Crystal Palace are the ones interested in signing him. Their manager Oliver Glasner is a big admirer of the winger and would love to have him at his disposal. He wanted to sign him during his time at Eintracht Frankfurt. While it didn’t happen back then, Glasner is pushing for it now.

The Eagles want to add him to their squad in the summer but the player is not interested in a move to Selhurst Park. He wants to join his childhood club Tottenham and since Spurs will get a heavy discount as they still hold over 30% of his future sales, they could look at him as a bargain option to reinforce their attack.

Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for the Juventus defender Federico Gatti.

The North London club want to further reinforce their defence ahead of next season as Ange Postecoglou seeks to add more depth to his backline. Despite having signed Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin over the last two transfer windows, the Australian manager still feels the need to add another top-quality centre-back to his squad as he looks to push for a top-four finish next season.

According to Gianni Balzarini via TuttoJuve, Tottenham are interested in the services of Federico Gatti and have knocked on Juventus’ door to enquire about him. €25-30 million could help them secure the services of the Italian international.

He arrived at the Turin-based club in the summer of 2022. While he didn’t get much game time in his debut season at the club, he was a constant feature in the heart of the defence in the 2023/24 campaign.

His performances for the Italian outfit haven’t gone unnoticed and there is significant interest from Tottenham who feel his profile would be a perfect fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system. While he still has four years left on his deal with Juventus, Spurs seem interested in prising him away.

The North London club have asked for information about the 26-year-old centre-back who is valued between €25-30 million by the Italian club. Nothing concrete has happened yet but if Spurs do end up pushing for his signature and accept the demands of Juventus, they will be looking to use the funds raised to push for the services of Riccardo Calafiori.

Tottenham are making notable progress in their pursuit of Lille striker Jonathan David.

Club insider John Wenham suggests that the North London club could secure David’s signature this summer.

Wenham highlighted that David’s reasonable price makes him an attractive option for Tottenham, noting that his potential value on and off the pitch is substantial.

David, currently in the final year of his contract with Lille, is set to become a free agent next June.

This contract situation has reportedly lowered his transfer fee to approximately £25 million, making him an appealing target for Spurs.

The 24-year-old has long been on the Lilywhites’ radar and is currently showcasing his talents with his national team at the ongoing Copa America.

David had a remarkable campaign with Lille last season, scoring 26 goals and providing nine assists in 47 appearances across all competitions.

His versatility allows him to play both as a central striker and on the wing, fitting well with Tottenham’s tactical needs.

Wenham emphasised that signing David would be a strategic move for Spurs, offering both immediate contributions and high potential sell-on value.

Speaking to Tottenham News, Wenham said:

“I’m surprised by the fee which is being reported.

“He is an interesting player who can operate through the middle or out wide. Therefore, I think Tottenham will see this as a good market opportunity.

“It is a spectacular deal in terms of the price, especially considering David has a high potential sell-on value.

“As a result, this is a deal I could see the club getting done.”

As Spurs seek to bolster their squad, David’s profile aligns perfectly with the club’s objectives.

With his exceptional goal-scoring record and versatility, David could be a spectacular addition to Tottenham’s attacking line-up.

The club is likely to continue its efforts to finalise this deal, aiming to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season.
