Tottenham are actively working to offload several players this summer, with Sergio Reguilon among those expected to leave.

Earlier it was reported that Manchester United are considering making a move for him. And journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Borussia Dortmund have also shown interest in the Spanish defender.

Jacobs shared this update on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, indicating that Dortmund are considering Reguilon for their left-back position.

A move to Germany presents a significant opportunity for Reguilon. Dortmund is a prominent club in the Bundesliga and made a strong impression in Europe, finishing as runners-up in last season’s Champions League.

Since joining Tottenham in September 2020 on a five-year deal from Real Madrid, Reguilon has had a mixed experience. He has faced challenges and limited playing time under various managers at Spurs.

In recent seasons, the 27-year-old left-back has been loaned to multiple clubs. He spent the 2022-2023 season at Atletico Madrid, followed by a brief stint at Manchester United to cover for injured left-backs.

His loan at United was cut short, and he was then loaned to Brentford for the latter half of last season, where he made a positive impression by providing four assists in 16 appearances.

With Borussia Dortmund now expressing interest, Reguilon has the chance to rejuvenate his career in the Bundesliga.

Ben Jacobs notes that the German club, having missed out on Dutch left-back Ian Maatsen to Aston Villa, sees Reguilon as a viable alternative.

Jacobs stated:

“The only thing I would say in terms of a new suitor is that I’ve heard in the last 24 hours that Dortmund could be one to watch.

“We know that Dortmund wanted Ian Maatsen, he’s now a Villa player and Dortmund are therefore looking for a player in that position and internally they have discussed Reguilon as a possibility.”

This potential transfer would be beneficial for both the player and Tottenham, enabling Spurs to streamline their squad while offering Reguilon a fresh start at a top European club.

Tottenham’s plans to transfer Emerson Royal have encountered a setback, as his expected move to AC Milan appears to have fallen through.

Despite being in advanced discussions, Sky Italia, as reported by MilanNews24, describes a “sensational U-turn” in the negotiations between the clubs.

Milan have reportedly cooled their interest in the Brazilian defender and is now considering other options.

The Italian club initially offered €15 million, but Tottenham rejected the bid, holding out for closer to €20 million.

While personal terms were seemingly agreed upon, including a five-year contract worth €3 million annually, a final agreement between the clubs has not been reached, leading to the likely collapse of the transfer.

Emerson, who joined Spurs from Barcelona in 2021, has struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Last season, he made 22 Premier League appearances, starting only 11 games. Despite his ability to play various defensive positions, he has not become a first-choice player for the Lilywhites and has failed to make a lasting impression on Postecoglou.

With his contract extending until June 2026, Tottenham is keen to part ways with Emerson, as he does not align with Postecoglou’s long-term vision for the team. The breakdown of the deal with Milan necessitates that Spurs explore other options to offload the 25-year-old full-back.

The Lilywhites must now shift their focus to finding an alternative destination for Emerson, ensuring they can streamline the squad and reinvest in areas that better fit the club’s strategy.

Manchester United are preparing a move to permanently sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon, aiming to strengthen their left-back options and provide cover for the injury-prone Luke Shaw.

According to Football Insider’s senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke on their Inside Track podcast, Manchester United require additional cover for Luke Shaw, leading them to target Reguilon.

The Red Devils are reportedly making preparations to bring Reguilon back to Old Trafford.

Reguilon had a brief six-month loan spell with United last September, stepping in for the injured Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, making 10 appearances.

Earlier this year, he was loaned to Brentford, where he impressed by providing four assists in 16 appearances.

Despite interest from other European clubs, a move to Manchester United would enable Reguilon to stay in the Premier League.

Tottenham is keen to finalise a permanent transfer this summer to avoid losing him for free next year, with his contract running until June 2025.

Tottenham’s intent to streamline their squad is clear, and Reguilon’s departure aligns with their strategic objectives.

His transfer to Old Trafford would benefit both clubs, providing United with needed depth and Reguilon with a fresh start in a familiar league.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Palmeiras left-back Marcus Vinnicius.

The 17-year-old is highly rated in South America and he has a bright future ahead of himself. Tottenham are keeping tabs on his development and they could look to make a move for him soon.

According to a report from PL Brasil, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen on the talented young defender. However, it is Tottenham who are currently leading the race to sign the defensive prodigy. The player is expected to sign a professional contract with Palmeiras soon and his new deal will include a £85 million release clause.

It will be interesting to see if Spurs decide to follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign the talented young Brazilian defender in the coming weeks. The North London club have shown a willingness to invest in talented young players and they have brought in top-class prospects like Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, and Micky Van de Ven in recent windows.

The Brazilian would be a long-term investment for them and he could develop into an important first-team player for the club with the right guidance. The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be quite attractive for the player as well. However, it is highly unlikely that any club will trigger his £85 million release clause when the new contract is signed. Palmeiras will have to be more reasonable with their demands in order for the move to go through.

Meanwhile, Newcastle and Wolves are keeping tabs on his development as well and it will be interesting to see if they come forward with an offer to sign the player.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their attacking unit with the signing of Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 24-year-old Portuguese winger has established himself as a key player for Wolves in the Premier League and his performances have attracted the attention of the North London club.

Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that Tottenham are in regular contact with the player’s agent and they are looking to make a move for him this summer. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can agree on a reasonable fee for the 24-year-old. They will not want to pay over the odds for the Portuguese international.

He said to GMS: “They are in regular contact with the agent of Pedro Neto. For Pedro Neto, it really depends on the fee. He had many injuries, so Tottenham would be happy to try again for Pedro Neto, but only in normal conditions, not crazy conditions. This is why it also depends on Wolves.”

Neto has established himself as a reliable performer in the Premier League and he will certainly fancy his chances of playing for a big club like Tottenham. The North London club will be able to provide him with the opportunity to fight for trophies next season.

Spurs need more quality and depth in the wide areas and the 24-year-old will add pace, flair, and goals to the side. the winger is reportedly valued at £60 million, but asking price seems quite steep. Wolves will have to be more reasonable with their demands in order for the move to go through.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Neto is entering the peak years of his career and he will want to join a club capable of competing at the highest level. A move to Tottenham will be the ideal next step in his career.

Tottenham are actively streamlining their squad by offloading players who are not part of their future plans.

One such player is Troy Parrott, who is set to join AZ Alkmaar after Tottenham agreed a deal with the Dutch side for his transfer.

This move is intended to bolster Alkmaar’s squad as they gear up for a title challenge next season, following their fourth-place finish in the previous campaign.

As reported by Football London, Parrott is set to return to the Netherlands, joining AZ Alkmaar on a permanent deal.

The Dutch club will pay €8 million (£6.7m) for the 22-year-old striker, who has reportedly already travelled to the Netherlands for his medical.

Despite Parrott’s hopes of securing a spot in Ange Postecoglou’s first-team plans at Tottenham, the club decided against offering him that opportunity.

Parrott had an exceptional loan spell at Excelsior Rotterdam last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 5 assists in 32 appearances across all competitions.

Parrott joined Tottenham in 2019, signing his first professional contract and making his senior debut later that year. However, limited first-team opportunities at Spurs led to multiple loan spells, allowing him to showcase his talent outside the Lilywhites.

The move to AZ Alkmaar provides Parrott with a fresh start and the chance to continue his impressive form from the previous season.

Sebastian Szymanski could continue at Fenerbahce for another season despite links with Tottenham.

Spurs are keen on adding more firepower to their squad ahead of next season. Ange Posetcoglou wants to make quite a few signings in the final third. He wants a new world-class number nine, an attacking midfielder as well as someone who can add depth on the flanks and Polish international Sebastian Szymanski is one of the names on their wishlist.

He had an impressive debut season at Fenerbahce last time out as he scored 13 goals and bagged another 19 assists in his 55 outings. On the back of his performances, he has been linked with a move to Tottenham. The 26-year-old could be a great fit for their setup as he can feature as the number ten as well as on either flank.

While reports have suggested that the player has agreed to a move to Spurs and they are finalising a deal for him, his agent Mariusz Piekarski while speaking to Poland’s Meczyki.pl has made it quite clear that nothing concrete has happened so far. He hasn’t received any offer for his client from the North London club.

Piekarski said: “I don’t know anything about Tottenham’s offer for Seb. It’s a journalistic duck. As of today, Szymański is staying at Fenerbahçe. It is possible that nothing will change in this case. We have no pressure at all to transfer.”

The player’s agent believes that Tottenham links are just rumours for now. Piekarski even insisted that Szymański will most likely continue at Fenerbahçe who are gearing up for their first season under the leadership of Jose Mourinho.

With three years still left on his deal at the Turkish club, the only way the payer leaves is if Fenerbahce end up receiving a big offer. Tottenham will have to table an offer of around €25-30 million to stand a chance of signing him this summer.

Chelsea are looking for £55 million to sanction the departure of their academy graduate Conor Gallagher amidst interest from Tottenham.

Ange Postecoglou’s team are looking to reinforce their squad ahead of next season. They want to bring in a top-quality midfielder and have their eyes on Conor Gallagher. Chelsea are ready to sanction his departure with just a year left on his deal. But, according to a report from 90min, they want £55 million to part ways with their academy graduate.

With Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso’s future at the club uncertain, Tottenham do need to bring in a top-quality midfielder. Gallagher has been on their radar for a while and he is considered to be an ideal fit for Postecoglou’s style of play.

With just a year left on his contract Spurs do have a realistic chance of signing him but Chelsea do not seem interested in lowering their demands as they look for a similar deal to the £55 million agreement which resulted in Mason Mount joining Manchester United.

The 24-year-old was one of the standout performers for Chelsea in a season where things didn’t go that well for them. He was involved in 50 games and contributed towards 16 goals (7 goals, 9 assists). Tottenham believe Gallagher could help them take the next step but it will be interesting to see if they accept Chelsea’s demands.

The North London club value the midfielder between £35-40 million while the asking price is £55 million. With the PSR deadline of June 30 a thing of the past, the Blues are unlikely to lower their demands and if they do not get any suitable offers, they will look to extend his stay.
