Tottenham open talks with agents of UCL finalist regarding summer move - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to sign Mats Hummels as a free agent ahead of next season.

Hummels’ time at Borussia Dortmund came to an end last week as he decided to leave the club with his contract expiring. While there is a lot of interest in his services from the Middle East and America, the German centre-back is keen on continuing in Europe.

According to a report from HITC, the player’s representatives are in talks with Tottenham regarding a potential summer move. Hummels’ agents are working hard to find him his next club and they have offered Spurs the opportunity to sign him on a free transfer.

The North London club were linked with him back in 2018 when he was at Bayern Munich. While he is already 35, Hummels has proved that he still has a lot of football left in him. He was one of the most consistent performers for Dortmund last season as they made it to the Champions League final.

Spurs are likely to consider signing him for free because of the amount of experience he has and the fact that he could give Ange Postecoglou’s team some much-needed depth.

While Spurs are currently in talks with his agents regarding a summer move, they are not the only English club who have been handed the opportunity to sign the German star. His representatives have held talks with other Premier League clubs as well. As a result, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the race to his signature.

Tottenham agree personal terms with summer target, star set to cost £65 million - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed personal terms with Brentford ace Ivan Toney over a move to North London.

Ange Postecoglou is keen on taking the next step at Tottenham and he feels a proven number nine could help their cause. They are interested in the services of Ivan Toney and according to a report from Football Transfers, Spurs have agreed personal terms with the Brentford star.

Toney made a return to football at the start of the year after serving a long ban. In his 17 league outings, he could only manage four goals and two assists. Despite that, he managed to find a place in Gareth Southgate’s England team for the Euros.

While the 28-year-old was struggling for form towards the end of last season, there is still a lot of interest in him because of his proven track record in the English top flight. Tottenham are the ones who are pushing hard for his signature.

The North London club did cope well with Harry Kane’s departure despite not signing a replacement. But, Postecoglou feels a world-class striker is a must as they look to push for a Champions League spot next season. Toney has been on their radar for quite a while now and they have started making moves to sign the England international.

Spurs have already agreed personal terms with the player regarding a move to the club. While he has accepted the wage offer, a lot still needs to be done as they need to strike a deal with Brentford who are looking for a fee of £65 million.

Tottenham’s initial bid worth £40 million has already been rejected and they are expected to return with a better offer. Meanwhile, the report suggests £55 million could be enough to get it over the line.

Description

Tottenham are all set to battle it out with rival clubs for the services of Tammy Abraham.

The North London club are looking to reinforce their attack ahead of next season and signing a striker is a top priority for them. They have been linked with former Chelsea star Tammy Abraham.

According to a report from Corriere della Sera, Spurs are ready to battle Everton, Aston Villa and West Ham for the signature of the English international.

Abraham suffered an ACL injury last year which kept him out from the majority of the 2023/24 season. While he is back fit and still has two years left on his deal with the Italian club, they seem ready to cash in on him. With Romelu Lukaku leaving, they need to bring in a top striker to fill his void. The 26-year-old’s departure could give them the needed financial strength to sign a replacement.

With multiple top clubs keen on his signature, Roma are hoping for a bidding war as they look to raise around €30 million. Tottenham do have other targets for the number nine role but those transfers will require a significant investment. While Abraham might have struggled with injury last term, he has proven himself in the Premier League in the past. With him available for a bargain fee, Spurs see this as a great opportunity.

Not only will they get a top-quality striker who can lead the line, but they will also be adding an experienced Englishman who knows all about playing in the English top flight. But, Tottenham will have to battle with Everton, Aston Villa and West Ham as they are all looking to add firepower to their attack and are closely monitoring the former Chelsea academy graduate’s situation at Roma.

Daniel Levy to fully back Ange as report details how much he has set aside to bolster the attack - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are poised to back Ange Postecoglou for the third consecutive transfer window as they look to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.

According to Football Transfers, Spurs have ambitious plans this summer, aiming to sign five new players to contend for the Premier League title.

The report details that the club has substantial funds for transfers this summer, but those will have to be managed effectively on 5 new players.

It also adds that Levy has set aside a budget of £100m just go bolster the Tottenham attack.

Among the primary targets are Brentford’s prolific striker Ivan Toney, Crystal Palace’s star attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze, Conor Gallagher and a key defender.

The Lilywhites have emerged as favourites to sign Toney, with the striker having verbally agreed to personal terms.

Despite a recent bid reportedly being turned down by Brentford, Tottenham remains optimistic about securing the deal.

Toney’s recent switch to CAA Base, an agency closely linked with Daniel Levy, may have improved his chances of moving to North London.

As per recent reports, the player has agreed personal terms with Spurs but the clubs need to come to an agreement regarding the fee.

The striker had a remarkable 2022-23 season, where he scored 20 goals in 33 league appearances.

Simultaneously, Tottenham’s pursuit of Eberechi Eze is gaining traction. The club is gearing up for discussions with Eze’s representatives, aiming to trigger his £60 million release clause, which could make him the club’s record signing.

Eze’s exceptional performances last season, with 11 goals and four assists in 27 Premier League appearances, have captured the club’s interest.

Both Toney and Eze have been selected for England’s squad for the ongoing Euros, highlighting their excellence at both club and international levels.

Additionally, Spurs seek to sign a defender to strengthen their backline, someone who could play centre-back as well as full-back.

As the transfer window nears, Tottenham fans eagerly await these potential signings, hoping they will address key areas and push the team to success under Ange Postecoglou.

Description

Spurs are linked with several defenders, with the latest name emerging is Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic.

According to the sources who have informed TBR Football, the Lilywhites are keeping a close eye on the centre-back as a potential summer signing, particularly impressed by his performance against England in the opening group game of the Euros, despite Serbia’s narrow 1-0 loss.

Milenkovic, who anchored Serbia’s back-three, effectively neutralized England captain and Tottenham legend Harry Kane throughout the match.

The centre-half’s solid display highlighted his defensive prowess and attracted the attention of Spurs, who see him as a valuable addition to their squad.

Currently, Milenkovic has three years remaining on his contract with Fiorentina, which runs until June 2027.

He had a commendable campaign with the Italian club, making 50 appearances last season across all competitions.

However, Tottenham faces competition from other Premier League clubs, including Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Fulham, all of whom are keeping tabs on the defender.

With the 26-year-old’s showing against the Three Lions, Spurs must be convinced about him.

Milenkovic’s impressive stats against England reinforce his quality: he completed 76 out of 80 passes with a 95% accuracy, won 100% of his tackles, made four clearances, and four recoveries, and performed seven defensive actions. (FotMob)

Tottenham reportedly views Milenkovic as a potential replacement for Cristian Romero, who is attracting interest from Real Madrid.

Ange Postecoglou would likely appreciate Milenkovic’s ability to handle top forwards like Harry Kane, making him a valuable asset for Spurs’ defence in the Premier League.

Description

Tottenham are looking to finalise their transfer targets ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Spurs’ pursuit of Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze appears to be entering a decisive phase.

According to Football Transfers, the Lilywhites are gearing up for talks with the player’s representatives at the end of this week.

With the transfer window on the horizon, the North London outfit is eager to secure the services of the talented English International, who has been on their radar for quite some time now.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is poised to make a significant investment to bring Eze to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Reports indicate that Spurs are willing to trigger Eze’s £60 million release clause, which could potentially make him the club’s record signing.

Despite Eze extending his contract with Crystal Palace last November, speculation about his future persists.

Eze’s recent inclusion in England’s Euro squad highlights his quality, further fueling Tottenham’s desire to acquire his signature.

The 25-year-old had an outstanding campaign last season, demonstrating his prowess with 11 goals and four assists in 27 Premier League appearances.

The upcoming meeting with Eze’s representatives signifies Tottenham’s serious intent to secure the player, having previously invited the player’s entourage to the club’s home games earlier this year.

While Eze is not actively seeking a move, reports suggest he anticipates Crystal Palace honouring an informal agreement to allow him to leave if Spurs meet the asking price.

As negotiations approach, both clubs are set for discussions that could determine Eze’s future in the Premier League.

Tottenham ‘appreciate’ South American ace who would cost over €40 million - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the services of Brazilian full-back Vanderson.

The North London club are expected to make quite a few changes to their squad in the ongoing transfer window. They will look to add more quality to help Ange Postecoglou’s side take the next step after he helped them secure Europa League football last time out.

Tottenham want to strengthen their back line and according to Fabrizio Romano, they ‘appreciate’ AS Monaco sensation Vanderson. They are interested in acquiring his services ahead of next season.

The Brazilian international made the move to the French club in the winter of 2022 and hasn’t looked back since. While he did struggle with injuries during the 2023/24 campaign, the 22-year-old did showcase his abilities in his 23 outings with four-goal contributions.

His impressive rise has caught the attention of the North London club and they are considering making a move for him. However, they will only go ahead with it if Emerson Royal does end up leaving the club. The former Barcelona full-back is not in the plans of Postecoglou and Spurs are ready to sanction his departure.

He is expected to be on the move with AC Milan being his preferred destination. While Tottenham do consider Vanderson to be an ideal fit for their team going forward, signing him will not be an easy task for them.

The player still has four years left on his deal and Monaco want more than €40 million to part ways with him. The North London club do have other options just in case they fail to strike a deal with the French outfit.

‘he is perfect’: Danny Murphy drools over Spurs ace who has barely featured under Ange - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur signed Radu Dragusin from Genoa during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old was expected to come in and improve Spurs defensively. However, he has barely featured for them during the second half of the season. It seems that the Romanian international is yet to win over the manager.

Ange Postecoglou has handed him just four starts in all competitions. Dragusin will be hoping to play a lot more in the upcoming season and his performances in the European championship could prove to be vital when it comes to convincing the manager of his qualities.

The 22-year-old was in action against Ukraine earlier today, and he produced a colossal defensive performance for his side. Romania picked up a 3-0 win in the end, and the Spurs defender attracted a lot of praise for his flawless display at the back. Dragusin seemed commanding throughout the game and he dealt with any potential danger with calmness and composure.

The Tottenham defender showed great physicality throughout the game as well. BBC pundit Danny Murphy has now heaped praise on the talented young defender and claimed that he could be an important player for Tottenham and the fans will be pleased to see his performance today.

Murphy added that the Romanian international is perfect for the Premier League because of his physicality and intensity. It will be interesting to see if he can hold down a regular starting spot at the North London club next season. There is no doubt that he is a tremendous talent with a bright future and he needs more opportunities.

He wrote on BBC: “Dragusin’s performance deserves plaudits because he was outstanding. The Spurs fans will be really happy to see it and he is perfect for the Premier League. He epitomised everything that was great about Romania today”.

Euro outfit make ‘informal contacts’ with agent, Tottenham ace ready to join - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso continues to be linked with a move away from the club this summer.

According to a report from Estádio Deportivo, Real Betis are keen on signing the 28-year-old attacking midfielder and they have held ‘informal contacts’ with the player’s agents. It will be interesting to see if they make contact with the North London club now.

Lo Celso is reportedly keen on the move. He is not a key starter for Tottenham and it would make sense for all parties to move on. Tottenham will be hoping to cash in on him and invest the proceeds from his departure on a new player.

Meanwhile, he has played for Real Betis in the past and he was a key performer for them. The opportunity to return to his former club will be an exciting option for the player as well.

The Argentine international was reportedly keen on a return to the Spanish club last summer, but Real Betis were not able to afford his wages. It seems that the Spanish outfit are now looking to get rid of William Carvalho and Nabil Fekir to lower their wage bill. It would allow them to sign the versatile midfielder this summer.

Lo Celso needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and Tottenham will not be able to provide him with that opportunity. Returning to La Liga would be ideal for the South American as well.

Furthermore, he has a contract with the North London club until 2025, and this is Tottenham’s final opportunity to cash in on him. They will not want to lose out on a free transfer, and therefore it makes sense for them to sell the player for a reasonable price this summer.

“Ignore …nonsense” Spurs insider dismisses ‘Exclusive’ - The Boy Hotspur
Description

This summer was certainly set up to be a pivotal one for Tottenham.

After a decent initial run of refreshing games, Ange Postecoglou either hit a physical wall with the squad, or his new manager bounce ran out of steam.

Either way, numerous big outlets have threatened us with big changes this summer and talk has been about serious exits out of N17 and a sizable injection of fresh blood into Hotspur Way.

What truth there may have been in all this remains to be seen, as there has been very little credible speculation via credible outlets so far.

Football Transfers today has alleged that personal terms between Spurs and Ivan Toney have been agreed, however, the reported £40 million bid by us was not deemed agreeable to Brentford themselves.

Furthermore, the site suggests that Daniel Levy has changed his spots and is not stopping there, with an additional 4 names being inbound,

“…the Lilywhites plan to bring in five new signings to boost their chances of securing Champions League football next season”

Paul O’Keefe is a registered FA intermediary and a man with an established track record when it comes to Spurs transfer business.

The Boy Hotspur Says

Toney is a player Tottenham undoubtedly need, with Richarlison and Werner both being liabilities.

Harry Kane was never replaced, and buying Ivan would be the obvious, sensible thing to do.

It would be fascinating to see Levy do the right thing.
