As exclusively revealed on @talkSPORT, Spurs willing to pay a similar fee to the Mohammed Kudus one.

Can Spurs wrap up Eze deal?

The development will come as a huge boost for Tottenham, and they will be delighted to finalise the deal. He is a quality player who has proven himself to be one of the best attackers in the Premier League, and he could improve Spurs.

The move will be ideal for the player as well. He would get to test himself at a higher level and push for major trophies. He has already outgrown Crystal Palace, and he has helped them win the FA Cup and the Community Shield. He cannot expect to win major trophies with them, and a move to Tottenham would be perfectly timed for him.

Eberechi Eze to replace Son?

It seems that Spurs are paying a similar fee to that of Mohammed Kudus for the player. The 27-year-old is well settled in England, and he could make an instant impact. There is no doubt that he has the quality to justify the investment. It will be interesting to see if Eze can make an instant impact and help Tottenham push for trophies this season.

Son Heung-min left the club earlier this summer, and the England International should be the ideal alternative. It remains to be seen whether he can replace the South Korean adequately.

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the player, and the 27-year-old is now pushing to join them. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the player has decided to leave Crystal Palace, and he has already agreed on personal terms with Tottenham.

The journalist claims that Crystal Palace are now looking at potential replacements for the player. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Tottenham need Eberechi Eze

Tottenham need more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the England International would be a superb acquisition. He registered 25 goal contributions last season, and he will help him in the final third with his creativity and goalscoring ability.

Eze has proven himself in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, and he needs to take on a new challenge at this stage of his career. He is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League, and he deserves to play for the top teams. He will look to do well in the UEFA Champions League with Tottenham this season.

Eze needs to move on

It will be interesting to see if Crystal Palace can find a quality replacement for him. He has been an indispensable asset for them, and replacing him will not be easy.

Eze has helped them when the FA Cup and the Community Shield. He will not be able to win major trophies with them any time soon, and it makes sense for him to take the next step in his career so that he can realise his ambitions.

Some day at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Of course, there will be those who will wish to point at our guests today and tell us that they are ‘fresh out of the Championship, but perhaps they are missing something.

Reborn is a big word to use in football, but this looks an awful lot like it.

Richarlison has been in a slump at Tottenham, and yet if Thomas Frank keeps up his magic touch, the Brazilian could be our Ivan Toney.

Today, we’ve seen two great finishes produce two great goals.

What a crackerjack goal from the lad.

This is a very organised performance by Tottenham, one that Ange Postecoglou fans might find strange viewing!

Getting Richarlison back to winning ways is pleasing to see, and it was of note that it was Mohammed Kudus who produced the link-up play and the assist.

Report: ‘Personal terms won’t be an issue’ as Spurs edge closer to marquee signing - The Boy Hotspur
Description

The tale of Eberechi Eze to Spurs has been a long one, even by Daniel Levy’s standards. The rumour has been running since well before the transfer window opened, and of course, not groundbreaking news to readers of my Substack, where we told you much earlier in the year that the player was open to a move across London.

‘Personal terms with Eberechi Eze won’t be an issue’ suggest sources

Now it emerges that after some brief media speculation in respect of one of Crystal Palace’s very best players would be interested in a move to Arsenal, Tottenham are back with an advantage. The transfer window closes at the end of this month, and it has now emerged that ‘personal terms won’t be an issue‘ according to one report.

Staying in London and Champions League football could be key for Eberechi Eze

Other factors that could influence the player include the ability to compete at football’s very top tier, whilst not having to relocate home.

Spurs have shown a strong interest in signing Eberechi from Crystal Palace before the summer transfer window closes. Reports indicate that Spurs have initiated talks with Palace and are prepared to make a competitive offer, potentially involving a £68 million release clause (though it may have expired on August 15, 2025) or a negotiated payment plan with an initial sum of around £45 million plus instalments.

Eberechi Eze talk a complicated mix of speculation and half-truths

The specific details are difficult to evaluate from all the various sources. Even Fabrizio Romano’s recent contribution appeared to make little sense as he spoke of the release clause for Eze having expired, which, with just weeks to run before a window closing, seems incongruous.

The next few days out to be critical, as we say, Tottenham aim to finalise the deal before the transfer window deadline on September 1. Some reports even claim Eze is “destined” for Tottenham, with the player favouring a move to Spurs over Arsenal.

Spurs need Eberechi Eze

There’s no two ways about it, this is a player that Tottenham desperately need. A dynamic, versatile attacking midfielder known for his flair, creativity, and ability to influence games. Primarily playing as a number 10.

Tottenham in “direct talks” to land summer target who is “keen” on joining them - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have now opened direct talks to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace this summer.

The 27-year-old has been linked with the move away from the London club, and he has been on the radar of clubs like Arsenal as well. It seems that Tottenham are currently the frontrunner to get the deal done. It will be interesting to see if they can wrap up the move quickly.

Tottenham in talks with Palace over Eze transfer

Fabrizio Romano has revealed on GMS that the player is keen on joining Tottenham and the two clubs are currently locked in direct talks. It remains to be seen whether they can secure an agreement over the fee.

Romano said: “Eze is keen on a Spurs move, for sure. The deal depends on the two clubs now, who remain in direct talks.”

The player had a £68 million release clause in his contract, but the window to trigger the clause has expired. Tottenham will be hoping to negotiate a reasonable deal with Crystal Palace now.

Eberechi Eze needs a big move

The 27-year-old has clearly outgrown the Eagles, and he needs to join a bigger club. He will be hoping to fight for major trophies and compete in Europe regularly. Spurs will be able to provide him with Champions League football for the upcoming campaign. It remains to be seen whether he can fight for trophies with them.

There is no doubt that they have a better team compared to Crystal Palace, and they have the resources to sign quality players as well. They have brought in a quality manager like Thomas Frank. Tottenham will look to establish themselves as Champions League regulars now and fight for trophies consistently.

Someone like Eze could make a big difference for them. He registered 25 goal contributions last season, and he will help them improve going forward. He will add some much-needed cutting edge and unpredictability to the Tottenham attack.

Spurs fan favourite wants another year in Premier League but for a non-footballing reason - The Boy Hotspur
Description

One of the issues facing Levy & Co. this summer has been maintaining a balanced wage bill, with a focus on moving on players who have reached the end of their careers at the club. One name is causing as much division as speculation is Yves Bissouma.

Fan opinion on Yves Bissouma is certainly split

Some fans have little to no time for the player, and others feel that he brings endless ‘vibes’ to the Tottenham Hotspur party.

These fans on COYS Reddit made their opinions clear:

“I think now’s the time to get rid of him – we need more consistency from a player at his price.”

“You’d think if he actually wanted to stay, he’d actually … show up for work? I mean that’d be the easiest thing to do right? Literally just show up on time. But he can’t even be bothered.”

“It’s better to collect money for him than keeping him and not play regularly. He is too inconsistent so we can’t rely on him coming in 85th minute and be 100%. Let’s face it, he’s not even 100% when he plays regularly.”

“I think it’s time for Biss to move on personally. Seems like a genuinely lovely guy but has made some mistakes, those mistakes aside, I believe it’s a good time to sell.”

“He never really hit the heights that I expected from his Brighton days, whenever we played them he would always perform at a really high level. But sadly the consistency problems were quite clear from the beginning. I’d take £20-25m.”

One rumour is that Yves Bissouma wants a UK passport

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, it will come as no shock to some that what is said to truly motivate Yves is the thought of a British passport.

In practical terms, this means that the player will either seek to stay on at Spurs, which he may deem problematic, given his recent track record when it comes to behaving himself appropriately. We had the Laughing Gas episode, and he was dropped by Frank from the Super Cup squad.

Tavolieri suggests that West Ham or Everton might be interested; however, this might be ambitious unless the boy can significantly raise his game, both on and off the pitch.

What Eberechi Eze’s agents have informed Tottenham as they plot official move for star - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to sign the Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze during the summer transfer window.

There have been reports (h/t GMS) that they could look to make a move for the player officially now. The 27-year-old is open to joining them, and he could prove to be an excellent acquisition.

Tottenham handed a boost by Eze agents

Meanwhile, the player’s representatives have now informed the London club that agreeing on personal terms with the player will not be a problem, and they should proceed with their efforts to secure an agreement with the Eagles now.

The fact that the agents have assured them that personal terms will not be a problem will come as a huge boost for Tottenham. It will be interesting to see if they can iron out an agreement with Crystal Palace now. The 27-year-old has been a key performer for them in the Premier League, and he could be an excellent acquisition.

Eberechi Eze would improve Spurs

He has the qualities to transform Tottenham in the final third. He will look to add goals, pace and flair to the side.

Tottenham need more attacking depth in the squad if they want to do well this season. They will be hoping to secure a top-four finish and fight for trophies. The Crystal Palace star could make an instant impact at the North London club and transform them in the attack.

The 27-year-old will feel that this is the right time for him to take on a new challenge and play for a bigger club. Tottenham will be able to provide him with the platform to showcase his qualities in the UEFA Champions League.

The player was heavily linked with Arsenal as well, but it seems that the Gunners have now walked away from the deal.

Tottenham idenify Piero Hincapie as summer target - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham are interested in signing the Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie during the summer transfer window.

According to Tottenham insider Paul O Keefe, Tottenham have identified him as the ‘ideal’ target to improve the left-sided central defensive spot. However, they are aware of the fact that the deal will be difficult and it would require a ‘large fee’ to convince the German club.

Tottenham wanted to sign Hincapie last season as well.

Piero Hincapie would be a superb signing

The 23-year-old has been a key player for Leverkusen, and he helped them win the title as well. This could be the right time for him to try out a new challenge, and the move to the Premier League could be ideal for him.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs can convince his club to sell the player. The 23-year-old is versatile enough to operate as the left-sided central defender as well as a left-back. His versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham if they manage to get the deal done. Meanwhile, the opportunity to move to the Premier League could be quite exciting for the player as well. It would be a huge step up in his career.

Spurs need to improve defensively

Tottenham were mediocre defensively last season, and they need to improve in that area of the pitch. Recently, in the final of the UEFA Super Cup, Tottenham could have easily won the game with a bit more defensive solidarity. They conceded twice in the closing stages of the game and were eventually beaten after penalties. Thomas Frank has identified the need to improve defensively, and Hincapie would be a superb long-term investment.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham come forward with an opening offer to get the deal done. They have the resources to pay a substantial amount of money to his club and the player. Convincing the defender should not be too difficult. They should look to focus on agreeing on a deal with the German club first.
