“He has something special”: Tottenham want ‘untouchable’ Arsenal target from top club - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur were reportedly interested in signing Khephren Thuram during the summer transfer window.

According to TBR football, they approached the Italian giants for the 24-year-old midfielder, but Juventus turned it down. The Italian outfit views him as an ‘untouchable’ asset, and they are unwilling to sanction his departure.

Graeme Bailey claims: “Comolli believes he has something special, and he is getting calls – we know that, but they have no interest in letting either of these two go, they are both deemed as ‘untouchable’ by Juve at this point.”

Spurs could use Khephren Thuram

Tottenham were not the only club keen on him, and Arsenal were interested in the player as well. It will be interesting to see if the London clubs decide to come back for Thuram in future. There is no doubt that he is a talented midfielder with a bright future, and he could prove to be an excellent acquisition for both teams.

Tottenham need more quality and depth in the middle of the park. The 24-year-old will drive, technical ability and control to the side. He has the quality to succeed in the Premier League, and he could make an instant impact at Tottenham.

Do Arsenal really need Thuram?

Meanwhile, Arsenal have already invested in multiple quality midfielders, and it would be quite surprising if they decided to make a move for the French midfielder. He needs to play regularly, and Arsenal might not be able to provide him with that platform. The move to Tottenham would be more favourable for him.

It will be interesting to see if the Italian outfit is prepared to consider selling the player in future. It is fair to assume that any move might have to wait until the summer window. Juventus will not want to lose a key player in the middle of the season in January.

Tottenham have done well to improve their team, but they need more depth in the middle of the park, and a 24-year-old could be the final piece of the puzzle for them.

They have been tracking his progress, and they are impressed with his performances. They could use more quality and depth in the goalkeeping department, and the German would be an ideal acquisition.

It will be interesting to see where the 23-year-old ultimately ends up. He will look to join an ambitious team where he will be able to fight for trophies.

Tottenham ramping up interest in Danish midfielder Victor Froholdt - The Boy Hotspur
Description

FC Porto’s 2006-born Danish midfielder Victor Froholdt is now on the radar of four major European clubs. Arsenal, Tottenham, and Brighton are all closely monitoring the youngster’s recent performances.

Standing at 1.87m, he’s known for his physicality, technical ability, and comparisons to Granit Xhaka as a “future” version of the Arsenal legend due to his passing range and box-to-box presence. Premier League sides have already launched dedicated scouting missions for Froholdt.

The Boy Hotspur’s Substack understands that Tottenham Hotspur have shown strong interest in Froholdt dating back to June 2025, when they were among clubs like Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen pursuing him from Copenhagen. However, a potential move to Frankfurt fell through, and Porto secured his signature instead.

Arsenal see him as part of their long-term midfield project. The coaching staff rates his passing range and vision, even calling him a “future Xhaka.”

Tottenham are impressed by Froholdt’s box-to-box style and believe he has the engine to thrive in the Premier League. The club is preparing to make official contact in January. No deal is imminent, but Froholdt’s impressive early-season form at Porto has intensified.

Brighton, known for spotting young gems early, is keeping a close eye on him. Club sources say Froholdt “fits the Brighton profile perfectly.”

Meanwhile, Spanish giants Atlético Madrid admire his physicality and ball-winning ability, seeing him as a good fit for La Liga’s intensity. They’ve been tracking his development at Porto for months.

Porto are open to serious offers in January. The club hopes to generate around €50–60 million from Froholdt’s sale. While the coaching staff appreciate his progress, they’re willing to part ways for the right fee. No deal is imminent, but Froholdt’s impressive early-season form at Porto has intensified.

With his strength, passing quality, and football IQ, Froholdt has caught the eye of Europe’s elite. January could mark the start of a new chapter for the rising star.

He has been labelled as an ‘exceptional’ talent by Jose Mourinho in the past, and there is no doubt that he would be a long-term investment for the club.

Arda Guler needs a fresh start

The midfielder has struggled for regular game time at the Spanish club, and he needs to move on in search of football. Tottenham could provide him with the opportunities he needs right now. They could use more creativity in the final third, and the 20-year-old would be the ideal acquisition. He can operate in the number ten role as well as on the flanks. He will add goals and creativity to the side.

Tottenham could complete €25–30m transfer, Thomas Frank has ‘excellent relationship’ with star - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur signed Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich at the start of the season.

The Portuguese international has been an important player for Tottenham, and he has established himself as an indispensable asset for the club. He is performing at a high level, and he is one of the first names on the team sheet.

Spurs must sign Joao Palhinha permanently

Tottenham have an option to make the move permanent for a fee of around €25-30 million. According to Florian Plettenberg from Sky Germany, they could now genuinely look to make the move permanent at the end of the season. Thomas Frank is a big fan of the midfielder, and he has an ‘excellent relationship’ with the Portuguese International.

They needed more physicality and defensive cover in the middle of the park, and Portuguese Internation has been the ideal fit for them. It makes sense for the club to sign him permanently. The asking price is quite reasonable, and the midfielder is at the peak of his powers. He could easily justify the investment.

Tottenham move ideal for Palhinha

The midfielder is happy at Tottenham as well, and he is enjoying his football once again. He has no future at the German club, and he will not want to return to Bayern Munich. The player will hope that Tottenham sign him permanently as well. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will look to get rid of him permanently as well. He has no future at the club, and they will not want to bring him back.

Tottenham have the resources to pay the reported asking price, and they should look to wrap up the move at the end of the season. Palhinha will look to sort out his long-term future and focus on his foot as well.

The 23-year-old has done quite well for La Liga outfit Real Sociedad, and his performances have attracted the attention of top teams. As per Fichajes, he is valued at €25 million, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to pay up for him.

Spurs could use Luka Sucic

They need more quality in the middle of the park, and the 23-year-old will add control, composure and drive to the side. Tottenham could use more physicality in the side as well, and the Croatian would be the ideal fit. He has been described as a “very powerful” player in recent months. He has the qualities to thrive in the Premier League, and he could be an asset for Tottenham.

The reported asking price is quite reasonable for a player of his potential. He could easily justify the investment and prove to be a bargain in future.

Regular football in the Premier League could help him improve further and fulfil his potential. “Time has come…”: Player could leave in January, Tottenham “ready to let him go” - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

The 28-year-old Brazilian is not an indispensable asset for the club, and former Tottenham scout Mick Brown believes that he could be sold in January.

Richarlison has not been able to live up to the expectations since the big-money move from Everton. It would be ideal for Tottenham to cash in on the player and bring in an upgrade. They could use another reliable goal scorer who can find the back of the net regularly. Dominic Solanke has not been able to score goals regularly, and Richarlison has been very inconsistent as well.

The South American could use a fresh start, and a move away from Tottenham could be ideal for him as well. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Richarlison exit likely

“I think the time has come for Richarlison to move on,” he told Football Insider.

“He’s never been a player who the club are completely prepared to put their faith in, they know what he can do at his best, but too often he won’t be at that level.

“With Solanke out injured, he’s had a good start to the season, but they don’t see him as the long-term answer to their issues leading the line.

“So if a good offer comes in for him in January, then I expect Tottenham will be ready to let him go.

“Given everybody’s fit, I’m not sure he would have a regular place in Thomas Frank’s team.”

Where will Richarlison end up?

The striker has been linked with multiple clubs in recent months. Clubs from the MLS, as well as those in Brazil, are thought to be monitoring his situation. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

He will look to join a competitive team, but he will be able to compete at a high level and fight for trophies. Despite the performances at Tottenham, he remains a quality player, and he could be an asset for the right team.

Nasty looking injury news for Thomas Frank ahead of Villa on Sunday - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Well, Spurs’ midfielder, Yves Bissouma, has suffered what appears to be a serious ankle injury during a World Cup qualifying match for Mali against Madagascar on Sunday.

He came on as a substitute around the 66th minute; this was his first competitive appearance since the end of the previous Premier League season, but he was stretchered off the pitch just seconds later after a challenge, looking visibly distressed.

This incident occurred shortly after Bissouma had returned to training with both Tottenham and Mali following a long-term injury that had kept him out of action for the start of the 2025-26 season. Mali went on to win the match 4-1, but no immediate updates on the severity of Bissouma’s ankle issue or his expected recovery timeline have been confirmed as of today.

Before this, Bissouma had been working his way back to full fitness and was potentially in contention for Tottenham’s upcoming Premier League game against Aston Villa on Sunday.
