Tottenham want another loan deal for Mathys Tel

When they signed him on loan during the January transfer window, they had an option to sign him permanently this summer, but it seems that they are looking to loan him for another season. However, this time they are willing to include an obligation to buy in the deal. It will be interesting to see if Bayern Munich are willing to accept the offer. The German champions want to get rid of the player permanently.

According to a report from Bayern Insider, the German outfit are willing to negotiate a more reasonable deal for the player, and they could sell him for £30-33 million.

The 20-year-old had an underwhelming loan spell with the north London club, but he is still a young player with huge potential. It is no surprise that Tottenham are willing to give him another chance. There is no doubt that he has the attributes to succeed in English football. He could develop into an important player for Tottenham with the right guidance.

Loan deal with obligation would be a wise move

Tottenham will need to improve multiple areas of their squad this summer, and it is no surprise that they are looking to sign the French attacker on a bargain. Signing him on loan would free up the funds to improve the other areas of the squad.

Meanwhile, the 20-year-old does not have a future at Bayern Munich, and he needs to leave the German club this summer. Regular football at Tottenham will be ideal for him, and it could accelerate his development. He will certainly be tempted to join the north London outfit permanently. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Report: Tottenham weighing up move for 40-G/A UCL-winning “complete player” - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the PSG attacker, Bradley Barcola, during the summer transfer window.

According to a report from Just Arsenal, they are monitoring the 22-year-old French attacker who has been outstanding this season. Barcola has 21 goals and 19 assists to his name in all competitions. He has been a key player for PSG all season, and he has helped them win multiple trophies.

Arsenal and Manchester City are keeping tabs on the player as well.

Tottenham need more attacking quality

Tottenham need more creativity and cutting edge in the final third, and the 22-year-old could be the ideal acquisition for them. It remains to be seen whether they can finalise the deal. The player is reportedly valued at around €100-120 million.

He has a long-term contract with the French outfit, and the UEFA Champions League winners are under no pressure to sell him this summer. Any club hoping to sign him will have to be a premium. Tottenham need to improve multiple areas of their squad, and spending a club record fee on the French attacker could prove to be difficult.

Bradley Barcola would be a superb addition

With that said, there is no doubt that the 22-year-old is a phenomenal talent. He has been described as a “complete player” in the past. He is still only 22, and he could improve further with coaching and experience. He has all the attributes to develop into a world-class player.

If Tottenham manage to sign him in future, it would be a major coup for them. For now, they need to improve multiple areas of their squad and spending a huge chunk of their budget on one player would be unwise.

Arsenal target’s agent negotiates a more lucrative deal with Tottenham, Spurs in pole position - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Leroy Sane has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, and Tottenham are in pole position to sign him.

According to a report via Sky Sports, the player’s agent has been in talks with Tottenham regarding a move this summer. Arsenal are keen on securing his services as well, but Sane’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has negotiated a significantly higher financial package with Tottenham.

Tottenham need the German attacker

It remains to be seen whether they can get the deal across the line. The 29-year-old is a top-quality player who has proven himself in the Premier League in the past with Manchester City. He won the league title with the English club, and he could prove to be an excellent acquisition for Tottenham.

They need more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the 29-year-old has 13 goals to his name this past season. He picked up six assists as well. He will help Spurs going forward and add some much-needed unpredictability to their attacking unit.

Signing a player of his quality on a free transfer would represent an excellent bit of business from Tottenham.

Arsenal keen on Leroy Sane

Meanwhile, Arsenal are keen on the player as well. It is no surprise that they want to sign the German international. They are lacking in quality and depth on the flanks. Gabriel Martinelli has had an underwhelming season, and Sane could prove to be an upgrade on the Brazilian.

He has the quality and experience to make an immediate impact in the Premier League, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Tottenham have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, and they will look to fight for trophies next year. They need top-quality players at their disposal. The 29-year-old certainly fits the profile.

Good afternoon and welcome to another in this series of daily shorts from The Boy Hotspur himself, sharing opinion and information from behind the scenes at Tottenham Hotspur.

Today was a relatively historic one, with not just Donna Marie Cullen stepping down, but shortly afterwards it was announced that Matthew Collecott, who happens to be the club’s Group Operations and Finance Director of ENIC, is also being relocated within the business.

Quite what this all means is anyone’s guess, but here’s my take on today’s events, including a shirt tale about the one time I emailed THFC.

Exclusive | Levy sets price amid negotiation strategy for Cuti Romero - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur’s Argentine defender Cristian Romero is understandably on the radar of Europe’s top clubs, with particular interest from Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. This is the familiar pattern with players that the North London club buys in, to compliment the home-grown quotient.

Real Madrid allegedly attempted to sign the Argentine player last year, but Tottenham refused to enter negotiations. However, after the club’s disappointing season, Romero’s departure now seems increasingly likely.

Romero’s transfer is not only on Real Madrid’s agenda. TheBoyHotspur understands that Atlético Madrid views Tottenham’s €60-65 million valuation as high; they have begun developing alternative plans to secure the player.

Sources indicate that Atlético is prepared to push negotiations further to sign the Argentine defender.

Atlético CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin is looking to initiate discussions with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy. Reports suggest that direct negotiations between the two clubs could accelerate the transfer process. While Atlético Madrid is expected to begin official talks soon, the details of the agreement remain unclear.

Tottenham have been ready to offer Romero a long-term contract to retain him in the squad. The club plans to make him one of their highest-paid players, but we understand that chairman Daniel Levy had given Romero an ultimatum to make a final decision by the end of the season, which has now passed.

Our view

There’s always intense speculation around our biggest stars, and given the disgusting Premier League campaign Ange Postecoglou served up last season, the threat of being relegated next term must feel rather real.

For me, there’s a sense around Cuti that I last had around Lo Celso, where the true determination and belief in Spurs feels a little light.

The desire to play for Argentina is always there, front and centre, but for me, it’s less defined when he’s wearing the Lilywhite.

Undoubtedly an excellent player on his day, but his excellent days at Spurs sadly do not place him in the same category as Micky van de Ven, in my eyes.

Sell, and reinvest.

Report: Tottenham join race to sign €30m-rated La Liga ace with “good technical qualities” - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera.

The 20-year-old has done quite well for the La Liga outfit, and he has been linked with multiple clubs. Liverpool and Chelsea are keen on the player as well. The Spanish under-23 International is highly rated across Europe, and he has a bright future ahead of himself.

Cristhian Mosquera is highly rated

Former Valencia youth coach Miguel-Ángel Angulo has previously praised him.

“He’s characterised by a physical condition and good technical qualities, powerful in the air, and mature for his age,” he said in 2021.

As per CaughtOffside, Tottenham have been monitoring his development, but the player is reportedly keen on a move to Germany with RB Leipzig. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can convince him to join the club. He would be a solid long-term investment for them.

Tottenham need a defender

Cristian Romero has been linked with a move away from the club, and Tottenham will need to replace him. Signing a talented young defender like Mosquera could prove to be a wise decision. Even though he might not be as good as the Argentine right now, he has the potential to improve further and establish himself as one of the best defenders in the league.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. The 20-year-old is clearly a player in demand, and he will need to decide on his future carefully. He should look to join a club with ambition this summer. Furthermore, the 20-year-old will want to join a club where he will get regular game time. He will not want to sit on the bench at a big club. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can provide him with such assurances.

The defender is reportedly valued at €30 million, and Tottenham have the finances to pay up. Mosquera could prove to be a bargain for them in the long run if they manage to get the deal done.

“He’ll be going to Spurs”: Player tipped to join Tottenham instead of Barcelona or Real Madrid - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has been linked with a move away from the club this summer, and he is expected to join Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Keith Wyness on Football Insider, the player is unlikely to join Real Madrid or Barcelona this summer. It seems that Tottenham are plotting a cash plus player move for the 24-year-old England international, and he is likely to end up at the north London club.

Guehi tipped for Spurs move

Wyness told Football Insider: “I’m hearing he won’t be going to Barcelona or Real Madrid for free – he’ll be going to Spurs, is what I’m hearing.

“There may be a player swap which can benefit Palace there.”

Tottenham have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, and they will be an attractive destination for top players this summer. They need defensive reinforcements, and the 24-year-old would be the ideal acquisition.

Cristian Romero has been linked with an exit from the club, and Guehi could be the ideal replacement for the South American. He has proven himself with Crystal Palace, and he has helped them win the FA Cup this season. He will look to win major trophies at Tottenham if the move goes through.

Tottenham move would be ideal for Marc Guehi

This is the right time for him to take the next step in his career and join a bigger club. Tottenham could be the ideal move for him at this stage of his career. They will provide him with the platform to compete in the UEFA Champions League and fight for trophies. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can get the deal done.

The player is entering the final year of his Crystal Palace contract soon, and they will be under pressure to sell him for a reasonable amount of money this summer. They will not want to lose a key player like him on a free transfer.

What influential figures at Tottenham are planning to do amid transfer interest in ‘world-class’ star - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer, but the North London outfit are not prepared to lose him easily.

According to a report from GMS, influential figures at the club, including Daniel Levy, are hoping to persuade the player to continue in the Premier League with them. They are not ready to lose their best defender easily, and it will be interesting to see if they can convince him to stay.

Atletico Madrid remain keen

The defender is reportedly valued at £65 million, and he is on the radar of Spanish club, Atletico Madrid. It will be interesting to see if the La Liga side decides to come forward with an official offer to sign the player in the coming weeks. The player has recently admitted that he would love to play in La Liga.

They need to improve their defensive unit in order to challenge for major trophies, and the 27-year-old is certainly one of the best around.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are hoping that securing Champions League qualification will be enough to convince their best players to stay at the club. They will need to convince the defender of their ambitions, and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.

Tottenham must keep Cristian Romero

Keeping Romero at the club beyond this summer would be a huge boost for Tottenham. They will be hoping to fight for trophies next season as well, and having a “world-class” player like him at their disposal would be ideal.

Even though Tottenham have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, replacing a world-class player like Romero will be very difficult for them. He is not only a key player for them, but he is also one of the leaders of the dressing room. Keeping him at the club will be an absolute priority for the North London outfit.

Description

Atletico Madrid are keen on signing Cristian Romero from Tottenham Hotspur, and they are not prepared to walk away from the deal.

Tottenham have secured Champions League football for the next season, and they do not want to sell their key players. However, Atletico Madrid are not prepared to abandon their pursuit of the South American defender.

According to a report from Football Insider, Diego Simone is a “huge admirer” of the 27-year-old Argentine defender, and he is hoping to get the deal done in the coming weeks.

Atletico Madrid need a quality defender

Atletico Madrid will be hoping to challenge for major trophies, and they need to tighten up at the back. Signing a quality defender is a priority for them this summer, and Romero is certainly one of the best in the world. He has proven himself for club and country, and there is no doubt that he is good enough to play for the biggest clubs in the world.

The player has helped Spurs win the UEFA Europa League, and it seems that he is prepared to take up a new challenge. It remains to be seen whether Atletico Madrid can convince Tottenham to sell the player. Convincing the defender to join the club will not be difficult for them.

Tottenham must keep Cristian Romero
