Punters Waiting On 200/1 Slips For Tottenham Hotspur To Be Relegated - William Hill News
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have been revealed as William Hill’s worst result in the Premier League relegation betting, having been backed at odds of up to 200/1 to go down.

Now priced at just 5/2 for the drop, Spurs are the shortest price they’ve been to go down in almost 50 years, since being relegated from the First Division in 1977.

Will Spurs drop down to the EFL Championship? Check out our Premier League relegation odds here!

Rivals West Ham are quickly catching them and are now odds against for relegation (5/4) for the first time since December 3rd.

Premier League Relegation Odds For 2025/26:

As of March 5th 2026, here is the current state of the Premier League relegation betting market at William Hill:

Wolverhampton Wanderers – 1/150

Burnley – 1/150

West Ham United – 5/4

Nottingham Forest – 9/4

Tottenham Hotspur – 5/2

Leeds United – 5/1

Bar – 28/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Spurs’ dire situation only seems to be getting worse and, ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace this evening, we can reveal that they are now our worst result in our relegation book.

“Punters are latching on to them to go down and have been for a while now, with some bets laid at odds as big as 200/1 earlier in the season, making them a serious liability for us.

“They’re now just 5/2 to face the drop, the shortest price they’ve been since being relegated from the First Division back in 1977.

“On the other hand, things are looking much brighter for their arch-rivals West Ham, who are odds against for relegation for the first time since early December following their victory over Fulham.”

Dark clouds are starting to form over the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs look for their first league win of 2026, they’ll be hoping it’ll come in this all-London affair against Crystal Palace.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Thursday’s fixture:

Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace – Thursday, 8pm

Punters can bet on Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace with William Hill

Spurs are a side that are really in a relegation battle but are getting away with it at the moment due to sides beneath them not exactly pulling up trees, very similar to last season but depending on results elsewhere, they could go into this one just one point off the bottom three.

You can usually rely on a sides home form to get them out of trouble at times but that’s certainly not the case with this Tottenham Hotspur team, they’ve won just two of their fourteen league games on home soul this season, no side have picked up fewer points in front of their own fans, they are 13/10 to win this one with William Hill.

Tottenham Hotspur won the reverse fixture 1-0 back in December but that remains their last victory in the Premier League, they’ve won none of their ten league games in 2026 whilst they’re on a run of four defeats in a row.

——————————–————————

Crystal Palace are a side in freefall but despite all the nonsense happening off the pitch, Oliver Glasner has steadied the ship recently with a victory in both the Premier League and UEFA Europa Conference League, although they head into this one after a 2-1 defeat against Manchester United, albeit they probably deserved more.

After nine consecutive away league defeats at Tottenham Hotspur between 2015-16 and 2023-24, Crystal Palace won this exact fixture 2-0 last season. They have never won consecutive away league games against Spurs, William Hill have priced the Eagles up at 2/1 to make some club history with a win in this one.

Only Arsenal start this round of Premier League fixtures with more away clean sheets in the league than Crystal Palace’s five and with Spurs winless in their last twelve midweek Premier League games, this one is intriguing.

Prediction: Draw (21/10), Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Crystal Palace (5/1).

Tottenham Hotspur In Freefall As Relegation Odds Continue To Shorten - William Hill News
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are now just 7/2 with William Hill to drop down to the EFL Championship after the 2-1 defeat at Fulham on Sunday.

Spurs are just four points above the relegation zone with 10 matches to play and football betting punters will be keeping a close eye on Igor Tudor’s side in the coming weeks.

Bet on Tottenham Hotspur and the Premier League at William Hill today

An important clash with Crystal Palace awaits on Thursday evening and pressure will mount on the club if they fail to secure three points in front of an expectant Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Premier League Relegation Odds (2025/26):

Punters can bet on the 2025/26 Premier League relegation battle at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:

Wolverhampton Wanderers – 1/250

Burnley – 1/150

West Ham United – 8/13

Nottingham Forest – 5/2

Tottenham Hotspur – 7/2

Bar – 14/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “We are continuing to shorten Spurs’ relegation price as their form fails to pick up, and we are now as short as 7/2 – a 22% chance – on Igor Tudor’s side to go down.

“Many had expected their results to improve at some point after Thomas Frank’s sacking, but that hasn’t been the case and following another defeat, this time at Craven Cottage, we’ve clipped them from 4/1 into 7/2.

“They are 11/8 favourites at home against Crystal Palace on Thursday night, but should they drop more points in that fixture, we only expect them to keep shortening in our relegation betting.”

Final One Standing Predictions

Following an impressive run of victories under Michael Carrick, Manchester United return to Old Trafford on Saturday to face a Tottenham Hotspur side in desperate need of three points.

You can read all of Saturday’s previews and predictions on William Hill News.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Saturday’s fixture:

Manchester United v Tottenham – Saturday, 12.30pm

Punters can bet on Manchester United v Tottenham with William Hill

It looked as though Manchester United had blown a 2-0 lead within the space of six minutes against Fulham on Sunday but a Benjamin Sesko in the 94th minute secured a 3-2 victory and their third win in a row, something Ruben Amorim managed just once.

Michael Carrick has this side believing again and that’s showing, they head into Saturday’s fixture in fourth place and now just five points behind Aston Villa in third, with UEFA Champions League football now a real target for the Red Devils.

However, just like Fulham’s visit last weekend this is a real test for United given they are winless in their last six league games against Tottenham Hotspur (D3 L3), their joint-longest ever run without a win against them.

——————————–————————

Tottenham Hotspur had to come from two goals behind against Manchester City last weekend but that stalemate is just ‘papering over the cracks’, they’ve won none of their last six Premier League games and now sit fourteenth in the top-flight.

Remarkably though, Thomas Frank’s side have the fourth best away record in the league so far in this campaign so they’ll be happy to be on their travels again, especially as they’ve lost none of their last eight meetings against United in all competitions.

We should be in for goals on Saturday, no side in the league have seen both teams score more than Manchester United’s eighteen games (75%), whilst eight of the last eleven league meetings between these two sides have produced at least three goals.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Manchester United To Win, Manchester United 3-2 Tottenham.

UEFA Champions League Betting Tips for Eintracht Frankfurt v Tottenham Hotspur - William Hill News

The UEFA Champions League is back for round six of Europe’s most prestigious club football competition, with Paris Saint-Germain looking to defend their crown.

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the UEFA Champions League..

The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

Wednesday evening will see a repeat of the UEFA Europa League quarter-final back in April, as Eintracht Frankfurt bow out of the UEFA Champions League against a Tottenham Hotspur side looking for a top eight finish.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Champions League odds and betting angles for Wednesday’s fixture:

Eintracht Frankfurt v Tottenham Hotspur – Wednesday, 8pm

Punters can bet on Eintracht Frankfurt v Tottenham Hotspur with William Hill

It’s been a poor UEFA Champions League campaign for Eintracht Frankfurt who haven’t been able to build on their 5-1 victory against Galatasaray in their opening fixture in this league phase, with the Eagles picking up just one point since that fixture (W1, D1, L5).

Eintracht Frankfurt sacked coach Dino Toppmoeller following a poor run of form which seen his side win one from their last nine games but things haven’t improved under interim boss Dennis Schmitt, having lost both of his games in charge.

This one could produce goals given that Eintracht Frankfurt’s last six games have all seen both teams on the scoresheet but with the German side failing to win any of their previous four encounters against Spurs (D2, L2), the dismal run could continue.

——————————–

Speaking of dismal runs, Tottenham Hotspur head to Germany fresh off the back of a 2-2 draw away at Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday, a stalemate which stretched their winless run to six games now in their domestic campaign.

However, Spurs look totally different in the UEFA Champions League and despite Thomas Frank coming under huge pressure, a run in the UCL could help save his job, as only Arsenal have lost fewer games (0) than Spurs’ sole defeat in the UCL.

Fourteen points in the competition have put automatic qualification in Tottenham’s hands and a victory here would see them progress into the next round and given they are unbeaten in their last six UEFA competition games against German opposition (W4 D2), i’m backing them to get the win.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Tottenham To Win, Eintracht Frankfurt 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur.

With just five games left to play in this campaign, the Premier League has reached the business end of proceedings, with still so much to play for in the English top-flight.

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the Premier League..

Liverpool have the chance to confirm their status as Premier League champions on Sunday when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield, only needing one point.

Don’t forget you can create your own multi and get a bigger price with Acca Winnings Boost. Plus, get a 25% Bet Builder Winnings Boost on all Premier League games and keep your player-based bets alive until the final whistle with Impact Sub.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Sunday’s Premier League fixtures:

Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur – Sunday, 4.30pm

Following Arsenal’s 2-2 stalemate with Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, even just one point will do for Liverpool to claim their twentieth English top-flight title, to go level with their rivals Manchester United.

It’s going to be a party atmosphere at Anfield and the Reds would have already been champions had Arsenal lost on Wednesday, but i’m sure those Liverpool players would rather win it this way, in front of their own fans.

One point is enough but Liverpool should be confident of picking up all three in this one given they’ve beaten Spurs in their last three meetings on Merseyside, scoring four in each of those games as well.

——————————–

An eighteenth league defeat for Spurs after their loss on Monday night to Nottingham Forest has seen them drop down to sixteenth place now, they could find themselves just above the bottom three if West Ham win their game on Saturday.

It’s remarkable that only the bottom three sides have more defeats that Tottenham in the Premier League, Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to put an end to this horror-show of a season with European success, the Lilywhites face Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-final next week.

There’s no doubt Spurs will have one eye on that European clash next week and they won’t hold much hope of picking up anything here having not won at Anfield in their last fifteen attempts, with their last victory here coming back in 2011.

Prediction: Liverpool To Score 4 or More Goals, Liverpool 4-1 Tottenham Hotspur.
