Tottenham Hotspur are closely monitoring the development of Brentford attacker Kevin Schade ahead of next summer, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Manager Thomas Frank knows the 23-year-old from his time with the Bees and is eyeing a reunion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Schade ended last term with 12 goals and three assists across all competitions and has scored once in seven appearances this term.

The German international is under contract with Brentford until 2028, and next summer could be the best time for them to sell him if they want to make a profit.

Schade, once praised by Frank for having ‘big potential’, could be open to working with him again, but it is too early to say whether Spurs will make a concrete move for him.

He is looking to play his way into the German squad for the 2026 World Cup after replacing Stuttgart attacker Jamie Leweling, who is struggling with adductor issues.

The Tottenham target last appeared for his country during the UEFA Nations League match against the Netherlands in October 2024.

He needs to be on top form between now and the end of the season if he wants to play at the World Cup, and Spurs will continue to monitor his situation.

With Richarlison out of contract in 2027, Tottenham need to start preparing for life without him if they do not intend to extend his deal.

Schade could be the perfect man to replace him, and the forward has proven he has the quality to play for a top team.

While he is primarily a left winger, the German can also play through the middle, and Frank is a fan of his versatility.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Destiny Udogie has signed with a new agency, Elite Project Group, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Spurs fans will be hoping that his decision to change the management team does not signal that the player wants to leave the club.

Udogie has been a revelation since joining Tottenham in 2023, establishing himself as one of the best left-backs in the English top flight.

In his debut season, the Spurs star was nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Year award, a testament to his remarkable campaign.

Injuries hampered his 2024/25 season, but he is now fit and finding his groove for Tottenham. Udogie reportedly attracted interest from Manchester City, Juventus and AC Milan over the summer.

City wanted to bolster their left-back position and were keeping tabs on the Spurs man as they pondered a swoop.

Milan also had Udogie on their shortlist after losing Theo Hernandez, while Juventus considered making a move if they lost Andrea Cambiaso to Man City.

Spurs fans will be hoping that the Italian international’s signing with a new agency does not signal he is angling for a transfer away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Elite Project Group, which represents Bukayo Saka, Jamie Gittens, Jadon Sancho, Romeo Lavia, Alex Iwobi, and more, is not entering the picture to help Udogie negotiate a new deal.

Tottenham should be doing everything possible to keep hold of the ‘outstanding‘ Udogie. The Italian full-back embodies the modern defender. He is quick, fearless and technically gifted.

He was central to Ange Postecoglou’s system and will be equally crucial for Thomas Frank, driving attacks from deep and providing Spurs with balance on the left flank.

Players like him don’t come around often, and losing him would not just weaken the squad but also send the wrong message about the club’s ambitions.

With interest from Europe’s elite growing, Tottenham must show they are serious about competing by protecting their young stars, starting with securing Udogie’s future.

A US consortium has launched a £4.5 billion takeover bid for Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Sun.

Tech entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick is heading a 12-man group that has lodged the offer to acquire the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club.

Earick is offering £3.3bn to buy out the current Spurs owners – ENIC and the Lewis family.

The proposed new Tottenham owners are also ready to set aside a further £1.2bn for transfers.

Earick has also lined up a £250m stadium naming rights deal for Spurs, with the club currently without a sponsor for their ground since opening it in 2019.

The 41-year-old has assembled a consortium that includes NFL and NBA investors to back his vision for Tottenham.

Andrew Ashcroft recently purchased 8,023,942 shares in the North London club, which represents a 3.4% stake in Tottenham.

The price has not been disclosed but the shares are likely to have cost around £100 million based on recent valuations of Spurs.

Earick will be meeting that valuation with his offer but whether the majority owners of Tottenham will be open to selling remains to be seen.

ENIC owns 86.58% of Spurs, with former chairman Daniel Levy and his family owning 29.88% of those shares.

Spurs minority shareholders own the remaining 13.42% of the club between them, but Earick is only keen on the majority shares.

The former DJ, who also once worked for NASA, started initial discussions with the Spurs hierarchy – including Levy – some months ago.

Talks have accelerated since Levy left, and it is believed the former chairman was the impediment to a sale because of his desire to remain at the helm even in the event of a takeover.

Earick wants a takeover completed by December to allow him to splash the cash during the January transfer window and hit the ground running.

However, it could take months before everything is finalised if Spurs current majority owners agree to sell, and the fans will be hoping a takeover happens.

Andrew Ashcroft has purchased 8,023,942 shares of Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Guardian.

It represents a 3.4 percent stake in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club, and the shares are likely to have cost around £100 million based on recent valuations.

Ashcroft is the son of Lord Ashcroft, a former deputy chairman of the Conservative Party and billionaire donor, who is also a long-standing Tottenham shareholder.

He previously owned around 4% of Spurs, and it is unclear whether he has sold his existing shares to his son or if the family have now doubled their stake by buying from minority shareholders.

ENIC remains the majority owners of Tottenham, while former chairman Daniel Levy and his family own 29.88% of the 86.58% shares.

Until last week, Spurs’ minority shareholders owned the remaining 13.42% of the club.

ENIC continues to call the shots as the majority shareholder, and potential buyers have been informed that there is no chance of a takeover at present.

However, industry figures believe the Lewis family could sell Tottenham if anyone reaches the £4 billion valuation.

No bidders have emerged, and it is unclear whether anyone has plans to test the waters.

Ashcroft acquiring part of the club is unlikely to bring about any significant changes, but fans will hope that the departure of Levy triggers the much-needed improvement.

Tottenham won the Europa League at the end of last term – their first silverware since 2008 – and manager Thomas Frank will be desperate to end his debut campaign with a trophy.

Mohammed Kudus was surprised when Tottenham Hotspur expressed interest in recruiting his services during the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.

The 25-year-old attacker agreed personal terms with Chelsea but it was the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club that ended up signing him in a £55 million deal.

The Blues were the front-runners to sign Kudus from West Ham United having initially expressed interest in him in May.

However, Chelsea did not show enough commitment, and he had a change of mind when he was informed about interest from a club he did not expect to be in the mix for his signature while on holiday.

Kudus eventually gave Spurs his word he would join after the Lilywhites demanded assurances from him as they feared the Blues could hijack the move.

The Ghana international felt he would get more playing chances at Tottenham, and he has been proven right so far.

He played 80 minutes against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup and has started in all three Premier League games the North London club have played in 2025-26, weighing in with two assists.

Kudus will be facing his old club on Saturday when Premier League action resumes but is not concerned about the volatile reception he could receive at the London Stadium.

He was willing to leave West Ham after just a season but could not as suitors were unwilling to activate his £85m release clause.

Kudus has got his wish, with the availability of Champions League football at Tottenham playing a huge role in his decision.

He has hit the ground running at his new club and will be desperate to prove the likes of Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher wrong.

Industry figures believe the Lewis family could sell Tottenham Hotspur if anyone reaches the £4bn valuation

Industry figures believe the Lewis family would sell Tottenham Hotspur if anyone matches their £4 billion valuation, according to journalist Miguel Delaney.

He claimed in his ‘Inside Football’ bi-weekly newsletter today that while the majority owners of the club deny they want to sell Spurs, their actions point to behaviour consistent with such a process.

Daniel Levy has left the Lilywhites after 25 years as chairman, and more changes could be on the cards.

British business executive Amanda Staveley had expressed interest in acquiring a 25 percent stake in Tottenham last year.

She was backed by serious money from the Middle East, but nothing materialised. Spurs were also linked with a takeover bid earlier this year, with a group of Qatari investors seeking to buy the club.

They were willing to offer Levy a long-term contract to continue running the club as executive chairman, but he kept shifting the goalposts, leaving the potential buyers frustrated.

Spurs were valued at around £2.4bn when Staveley was linked last August, with her proposed stake expected to cost about £650 million at the time.

Manchester United were the subject of a £4.79bn takeover bid two years ago, but their owners were not keen on leaving, selling 25 percent of their stake to Sir Jim Ratcliffe in a £1.3bn deal in February 2024.

Staveley could need around £1bn if she is still interested in acquiring a quarter of the club, as the current £4bn valuation is fair after they spent £1bn to build their new stadium.

Levy’s departure could be good news for the club, and takeover rumours are expected to intensify in the coming weeks.

Tottenham Hotspur will listen to offers for Yves Bissouma with some windows still open

Description

Tottenham Hotspur will listen to offers for out-of-favour midfielder Yves Bissouma with the summer transfer window still open in some countries, according to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge.

The 29-year-old Malian is not in the plans of Spurs head coach Thomas Frank at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club.

Bissouma has yet to play this term as he is reportedly dealing with an unknown muscular injury.

He has not been included in the squad for the league phase of the Champions League.

Clubs in Turkey, Portugal, Greece and Saudi Arabia can still buy players until the end of the month, and suitors could come calling for the former Brighton & Hove Albion star.

He joined Spurs for £30 million in 2022 and has made 100 appearances.

Last month, Frank left the defensive midfielder out of the squad that played Paris Saint-Germain in the European Super Cup due to persistent lateness.

It proved to be the final straw for the Tottenham boss, who has since signed Joao Palhinha.

Former Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou also once axed Bissouma from his squad last year after he was filmed inhaling nitrous oxide from a balloon, and it seems the North London club have had enough.

Kota Takai, Radu Dragusin, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Mathys Tel have also been dropped from the Champions League squad.

However, the decision is owing to injuries, with only Tel the fit one out of the six players excluded from the squad.

West Ham United and Everton were briefly linked with interest in Bissouma, who wants to remain in England, but nothing materialised.

He could remain with the club beyond the end of this month and leave in January or at the end of the season as a free agent.

It will be interesting to see if he can force his way back into the good books of Frank if he remains at Tottenham until January.

Jeff Stelling insists Tottenham Hotspur had the best summer transfer window

Jeff Stelling insists Tottenham Hotspur had the best summer transfer window - sportsview.co.uk
Description

Former Sky Sports pundit Jeff Stelling has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur had the best summer transfer window, rating how they conducted transfer business better than that of the likes of Arsenal.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club lost Son Heung-Min but completed permanent deals for Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel after their impressive loan spells last term.

Spurs also signed Luka Vuskovic (now on loan with Hamburger SV), Kota Takai, Mohammed Kudus, Joao Palhinha and Xavi Simons, while Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani joined on loan yesterday.

The North London club missed out on the likes of Eberechi Eze, Morgan Gibbs-White and Savinho, but Stelling insists they did better than everyone else in the window.

His claim is likely to divide Tottenham fans as they would have wanted more players in, but head coach Thomas Frank has strengthened in every department and he will be looking to challenge for major silverware this term.

Spurs won the Europa League with Ange Postecoglou in charge last term, but finishing 17th in the Premier League cost the Australian his job.

Frank has started his reign with two league wins and a defeat, and the addition of quality firepower in attack could get his team firing on all cylinders consistently going forward.

Kudus has plenty to prove, with Roy Keane insisting he is unconvinced by his signing, while Simons and Kolo Muani will be eager to prove themselves in the Premier League having both dominated in France and Germany.

Tottenham need quality depth to challenge across all competitions this term, and Frank has been supported by the board in the market.

The Danish tactician will be keen to impress in his debut Champions League campaign as a manager, and Spurs got a decent draw in the league phase.

They will face Villarreal, Bodo/Glimt, AS Monaco, Copenhagen, Paris Saint-Germain, Slavia Praha, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt, and advancing to the knock-out stages should not be too tricky.

Roy Keane has revealed that he is not convinced by Tottenham Hotspur’s signing of Mohammed Kudus.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club brought in the Ghana international attacker from West Ham United earlier in the summer in a £55 million deal.

Kudus weighed in with two assists to help Spurs secure a 3-0 victory over Burnley on the opening weekend of the campaign, but Keane and Jamie Carragher think he is inconsistent.

“Not convinced, I have to say, not convinced,” Keane told Sky Sports when rating summer transfer deals.

“But it would be nice if he surprised me.”

Kudus was the real deal in his debut Premier League campaign in 2023-24, bagging 18 goals and ten assists for West Ham.

The 25-year-old also finished his debut season as the player with the most successful dribbles (124) in the Premier League.

However, he suffered a dip in form in 2024-25, ending the season with five goals and four assists in 35 appearances.

That did not stop Tottenham from splashing the cash on him, and he will be desperate to prove the detractors wrong.

Spurs have since signed Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani to bolster their attack further, giving manager Thomas Frank plenty of options in the final third.

The Lilywhites have had a decent summer transfer window after strengthening across all departments, and they will now look to challenge strongly across all competitions.

They will face Villarreal, Bodo/Glimt, AS Monaco, Copenhagen, Paris Saint-Germain, Slavia Praha, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt in the opening phase of the Champions League.

Spurs had a woeful domestic campaign last term, finishing 17th in the Premier League, and Frank will be looking to ensure they finish in the top five and pick up major silverware again this term.

Crystal Palace have registered an interest in Tottenham Hotspur winger and Leeds United target Manor Solomon, according to The Times journalist Gary Jacob.

Leeds reportedly considered bringing Solomon back again on loan to the Elland Road club after their move for Facundo Buonanotte was hijacked by Chelsea last week.

However, nothing materialised and Palace are now looking to sign the 26-year-old Israeli international.

Solomon played a crucial role in helping Leeds secure promotion from the Championship last season after weighing in with ten goals and 12 assists in 39 games.

He is also on the radar of Leicester City and some other Championship clubs, but remaining in the top-flight could be more appealing after Palace made their interest known.

The Selhurst Park club approached Spurs over a deal last weekend but were rejected.

They are now looking to seal a loan deal for Solomon with an option to buy before the 7pm transfer deadline today.

Leeds are still keen on bolstering their attack, and while Tottenham are now willing to let the Israeli leave again, it appears the Whites are currently looking elsewhere.

They have shown interest in Aston Villa midfielder Emi Buendia as manager Daniel Farke eyes a reunion with the Argentine after their successful time together at Norwich City.

Leeds are not the only ones looking to recruit the services of the South American, and they need to move quickly if they want to strengthen their attack before the deadline.

They have started life back in the Premier League on a decent note having made some quality recruitment so far this summer.

One or two more additions capable of improving their attack could come in handy to help boost their survival chances.
