Tottenham players are set to swap club for country as 16 Europa League champions prepare to feature on the international stage this June.
With the club’s 2024/25 season now over, attention is set to turn to international football, with several national teams expected to play in June.
For Tottenham Hotspur players, they now have the opportunity to wear the jersey of their national teams after putting a smile on the faces of several fans of the Lilywhites following their recent triumph in the Europa League.
Guglielmo Vicario was called up for international duty but pulled out after picking up an unspecified injury, which will see him miss out on Italy’s two World Cup qualifying games.
Tottenham confirm 16 players on international duty
Tottenham have now confirmed that 16 players will be flying across the globe to represent their countries during the upcoming break.
The June international break is set to begin on the 2nd and will run until the 10th, with each national team expected to play two fixtures during this window.
These fixtures will include World Cup qualifiers, with the 2026 edition of the tournament now just a year away. Of the 16 Spurs players called up, 12 have been selected at senior level.

Spurs also have a handful of their academy prospects preparing to represent their countries at the youth level. Archie Gray, Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert are expected to feature for their respective nations at under-21 level, while Mikey Moore has been selected to represent England at under-19 level.
Luka Vuskovic, who is currently out on loan, also received his first senior call-up for Croatia earlier this month, following his standout performances for Westerlo.
