Lucas Bergvall has delivered a heartfelt message to Tottenham Hotspur fans after his breakout campaign ends in silverware.
The 2024/25 season was one big rollercoaster ride for Tottenham Hotspur, with the club alternating between moments of brilliance and spells of absolute chaos throughout the campaign.
Their domestic form, particularly in the Premier League, was abysmal to say the least, as Tottenham finished 17th, just one place above the relegation zone, having lost 22 of their 38 league games.
Europe provided one of the few silver linings for the North London club, as Spurs embarked on a deep Europa League run and ultimately lifted the trophy after a narrow 1-0 win over Manchester United, ending their 17-year wait for silverware.

The development of youngsters was another bright spark in what was largely a gloomy season, as the likes of Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray gained much-needed first-team experience amid the club’s injury crisis.
Bergvall, who was brought in from the Swedish league at just 18 years of age, featured 45 times for Tottenham across all competitions, registering four assists and scoring once.
Although he endured a difficult start to life in England, the youngster steadily grew into the Tottenham shirt and eventually became an integral part of Ange Postecoglou’s setup.
