Roberto De Zerbi has already made his presence felt at Tottenham Hotspur since coming in as manager, and now he is ready to put his imprint on the squad too.

The Italian helped Spurs to steer clear of relegation at the end of last season, and now he has already added Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke, and Mateus Fernandes to the side, while a £100m deal for Sandro Tonali has also been agreed.

The north London club are now looking at potential departures, with a £50m deal agreed for Luka Vuskovic to depart to Brighton, but now the manager has made a firm decision on the future of a talented attacker at the club.

De Zerbi Tells Moore He's Not In His Plans

Spurs are understood to be in the market to strengthen their attack next, with a move for Man City star Savinho understood to be the priority target at this stage, with talks ongoing and the player keen on a move.

There are already a number of options in attack available at the club, despite some long-term injuries, and the club are also set to welcome back young winger Mikey Moore from his successful loan spell at Rangers last season.

However, it has now emerged that Moore, who has been described as 'special', will not be part of the first-team squad next season and will instead be loaned out once again, after being told by the manager that there is no pathway for him this year.

Rangers are very keen on re-signing the winger, while he also has interest from European clubs in the Bundesliga and Eredivisie. Spurs have zero interest in letting Moore leave permanently this summer, unlike Vuskovic, but they are open to letting him go on loan again to continue his development.

It remains to be seen if Rangers will go back in for him after changing manager, but Moore has publicly admitted he would be open to a return to Ibrox if a deal could be agreed.

Tottenham Can't Block Moore Pathway

When you have a talent as good as Mikey Moore, it is the responsibility of the club to get them into the first-team on a regular basis.

Spurs are in a strange position where they need to win now after consecutive 17th-placed finishes, and that means that De Zerbi cannot afford to make any gambles with his squad.

But while attacking signings are expected, and Moore is set to depart in the short-term, Tottenham cannot block his long-term pathway in the same way they did with Vuskovic, or they risk fumbling one of their best young talents in recent memory.
