Tottenham have been extremely busy in the summer transfer window, signing six players and letting three leave the club.
Roberto De Zerbi has moved quickly in the transfer market, something not usually synonymous with Spurs, to overhaul the squad he inherited when he arrived at the club at the end of March.
Martin Dubravka, Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali have all arrived at the club, while Alejo Veliz, Yves Bissouma and Alfie Devine have all said goodbye to the Lilywhites.
De Zerbi plans big changes at Tottenham Hotspur
After finishing 17th in each of the last two Premier League seasons, De Zerbi is trying to revitalise his squad to ensure they challenge at the top of the table next season, rather than the bottom.
But while there is lots of work being put into how his first team looks, there is also work going on behind the scenes to improve the academy set-up, to ensure there is a strong pathway for the younger players to make an impact in senior football.
And to that end, Spurs have signed a promising wonderkid from League One side Luton Town.
According to the Talent Hunter on X, Spurs have completed a deal to sign 13-year-old striker Harley Backhouse.
Could new arrival be the next Harry Kane at Spurs?
As the post states, Backhouse will arrive at Spurs, having scored an astonishing 66 goals for the Hatters' age group side last season.
He will join Tottenham's U14s side and there will be hope that, given his goalscoring record at his age, he could be the next Harry Kane on the conveyor belt.
With a complete overhaul of the first team squad under De Zerbi, there could be some difficult conversations with young players, with Luka Vuskovic already on the way out having never played a first team game for Tottenham.
Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed a £46million deal - rising to £50million with add-ons - for the highly-rated 19-year-old centre-back.
