Tottenham have been told that one of their current striker targets is even better than club legend Harry Kane.
Tottenham Hotspur have recently been linked with a potential move for Harry Kane, with reports suggesting the club could explore the idea of bringing him back to north London.
The forward has two years left on his Bayern Munich contract and has continued his fine goalscoring form in Germany, finding the net 18 times across all competitions this season.
While the notion of a Kane reunion might sound far-fetched, financially, it may not be entirely unrealistic. The England captain could be available for a fee below the £60 million mark, which is notably less than what Bayern Munich paid for him three years ago.
David Trezeguet ranks Dusan Vlahovic above Harry Kane
David Trezeguet, a Juventus legend and former France international, was recently asked by La Gazzetta dello Sport to rank ten of the world’s best strikers in order of quality, and interestingly, he had Kane pretty low on his list.
The former Juventus man unsurprisingly placed Lionel Messi at the top of his list, followed by Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in second and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe in third.
However, further down the order, Trezeguet placed Harry Kane ninth, with Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez in eighth and Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic – a reported £25m Tottenham target – in seventh.

Tottenham’s striker search and how Dusan Vlahovic compares to Harry Kane
Tottenham have been repeatedly linked with several forwards in recent months, and Dusan Vlahovic remains firmly on their radar, according to multiple reports.
The Serbian international is a traditional centre-forward with an instinctive eye for goal, though his numbers do not yet measure up to the standards set by Harry Kane during his time in north London.
Kane remains Tottenham’s all-time leading scorer with 280 goals in all competitions for the Lilywhites, and he has already surpassed the 100-goal mark at Bayern Munich.
Vlahovic, by contrast, has recorded 134 goals in 310 appearances – a solid return, but nowhere near the prolific consistency of the former Spurs talisman.
