Pre-season: Köln-linked Mikey Moore scores brace for Tottenham against Hoffenheim
Tottenham Hotspur beat TSG Hoffenheim at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a couple of goals from a striker linked with a Bundesliga club.
Mikey Moore scored two goals against TSG Hoffenheim as Tottenham Hotspur recorded a 3-0 win over the Europa League participants. The 19-year-old was set to join Köln this week, but Roberto Di Zerbi reportedly delayed the transfer until the club from North London completed the signing of another attacking player.
Richarlison scored the only goal of the first-half at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the former Rangers loanee scored twice in the space of twenty second-half minutes. Former Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel provided both assists for Moore.
Hoffenheim’s new signing Adam Daghim made his debut before Christian Ilzer surprisingly made 10 changes at the break. Hoffenheim will start their season with trips to Erzgebirge Aue and Köln in the DFB-Pokal and Bundesliga.
