Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has shared some cautious hesitation over the club’s transfer pursuit for West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus this summer.

The north London outfit have now seen two bids rejected by the Hammers, who were not to be budged at the offer of £50 million up front and £12.5 million of add-ons from Daniel Levy.

Kudus has an £85 million release clause in his West Ham contract, which has another three years to run, leaving the Hammers in a strong negotiating position. That release clause is set to expire on July 10.

West Ham want £60m for Mohammed Kudus

The Sun has claimed that West Ham could accept a £60 million bid for Kudus but that fee would have to come up front, rather than in add-ons. It is believed that Spurs’ previous offer included clauses for extra payments such as them winning the Premier League or Champions League, which is unlikely over the next 12 months.

With his release clause there for the taking, and a not so outrageous £60 million asking price, you can’t help but feel some sort of hesitation from Tottenham Hotspur and Daniel Levy to making that move a reality.

West Ham, who need to raise funds to kickstart their own summer spending, want to sell Kudus. The winger is there for the taking, so what’s with the hesitation?

Harry Redknapp fired Tottenham Hotspur warning

Questions over whether Kudus is the right man to join Spurs were posed by Redknapp when speaking to talkSPORT on Tuesday. He said: “Yeah, he’s not bad. There’s no doubting his ability. I know one or two people around the place at West Ham, I think there are question marks over him.

“I think his ability is not questionable but I don’t know. But he’s certainly got ability and he’s a player that when he gets on the ball, he can make things happen, he’ll be exciting. So yeah he’ll certainly bring something to Tottenham for sure.”

Redknapp’s seal of approval was hardly convincing on the player. Kudus scored just five Premier League goals last season in his second campaign of top flight football, but was part of a West Ham team all struggling for form.

There are questions over his temperament too. Kudus famously lost his cool in a match against Tottenham Hotspur last season and received an FA ban on top of a red card. Speaking about that at the time, former West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui said: “Unfortunately Kudus is going to be out for three matches because his behaviour was not good and he knows that.

“He knows he has to improve because this can't happen. I hope it's the last time this happens. I'm sure it is not going to happen [again]. I talked with him and sometimes you don't have to talk a lot about this kind of situation because he knows it was a mistake. I say, for sure, that he will learn about this incident and his behaviour will handle this better in the future."

There’s no doubt that there is talent with Kudus, Redknapp knows that too. If Thomas Frank believes that he can unlock it and get the player firing again at Spurs then it is the move to make - but this stalling over a move does not give a feeling of confidence that is the case.

Thomas Frank inherited a Tottenham Hotspur squad with a few gems, a few rough diamonds and a few who he probably wishes that he could take to a local “cash for gold” store.

As with every Premier League boss, the new man in charge of Spurs has his hands tied in terms of who he can and can’t sign, not just because of PSR, but because of a CEO who is notoriously frugal when it comes to loosening the purse strings.

According to Fabrizio Romano though Spurs are going to bid again for Mohammed Kudus at West Ham United and are also eyeing a £40m move for Benfica midfielder Ozun Kokcu, a player who has been critical of his own club recently.

Spurs could also get a second chance to sign Bryan Mbeumo with a reported deadline for Man Utd to complete a deal passing by without any announcement.

Arne Slot rates “outstanding” Mohamed Kudus as Spurs swoop

Several clubs have been credited with an interest in former Ajax winger Kudus including Liverpool and Man Utd, however, it is the Lilywhites who have made the first move.

Kudus has 25 goal contributions in 65 Premier League appearances, solid if unspectacular numbers with the caveat being that the Hammers haven’t exactly been the most settled of teams since David Moyes left. That Kudus’ best form was when Moyes was in charge tells its own story.

It isn’t just the new Everton boss who is a fan with Arne Slot also picking out Kudus as a menace last season in a close fought encounter towards the end of the season.

In a post match interview in April v West Ham after a late Virgil van Dijk winner, Slot said, via Liverpool’s official website: “I think they’re 16th or 17th in the league, but I can name you one or two players that could easily have played with us today as well in terms of quality.

“That is what the Premier League is about. And they used them more and more in the second half, these two quality players. And they have more, but I think [Lucas] Paqueta and [Mohammed] Kudus were outstanding today, especially in the second half.”

Kudus is a nightmare according to one former teammate

Another fan is Aaron Cresswell, who had to go toe to toe with Kudus in training on a daily basis, much to the veteran full-back's annoyance: "I've just trained with him and you don't want to go anywhere near him," Cresswell told the Iron Cast: Official West Ham podcast:

"I'm up against him all the time and I'm like: 'Mo, go on over to the left!'

"He's a top, top talent and I think we haven't seen the best of him yet.

"I won't go near him in training because I know if I'm going to try to knock him off the ball I had better make sure he's not looking and doesn't see me coming.

"You just can't get near him. He's so strong, so quick, so sharp."

Spurs don’t just need more quality in the final third, they need more robust and more resilient players too and Kudus has barely missed a minute of training since moving to the Premier League, never mind missing any games.

Kudus has a lot of admirers and a sub-par 2024/25 means that Spurs could pick the 45-times capped Ghana international for a lot less than he is really worth.

West Ham United reached the end of a cycle under David Moyes and it was always going to be a struggle to repeat the feats of the veteran manager.

What they need now is patience and for Graham Potter to be afforded the same sort of time that Moyes was to climb the Premier League table with a squad that needs work throughout the starting XI.

As with a lot of the clubs outside of the league’s top five or six, West Ham need to sell before they can buy with Mohammed Kudus set to be the subject of a bid from Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham get green light to make Mohammed Kudus move

It would appear that Kudus is intent on staying in London too with TBR Football reporting that the Ghana international winger has rejected a move to the Bundesliga.

With Leroy Sane leaving at the end of his contract and Jamal Musiala being injured in the Club World Cup, Vincent Kompany needs more depth and quality in wide areas, but Kudus has said no to joining Bayern with Spurs, seemingly, waiting in the wings.

TBR’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has made the claim with the transfer journalist also confirming why Kudus is almost certain to leave the Hammers this summer: “Having spoken to the club, the massive problem with West Ham is there’s financial issues and the club need to sell,” Bailey told TBR Football.

“They need to get players out. Mohammed Kudus is going to be that main sale. We expect Tomas Soucek to go as well.

“Lucas Paqueta will find out within two weeks about his court case, but we’re fully expecting him to be exonerated or at the very least he’ll be able to play Premier League football next season, hence he’ll be able to move.

“They’re the really big three sales and that really is hampering what they want to do in the transfer market.”

How Spurs can avoid overpaying for Kudus

Spurs will know that West Ham need the money and will be reluctant to overpay for a player who didn’t follow up his debut season in the Premier League with as impressive a campaign.

The 24-year old’s 25 goal contributions in 65 games is respectable for a player just arriving in England, especially for a team that has struggled since the departure of Moyes although he will need to up those numbers if he is to justify a transfer fee in the region of £60m.

There is a group of wide players who are set to move this summer with Kudus joining Eberechi Eze, almost all of them at Man Utd, Bryan Mbeumo who Spurs missed out on and Antoine Semenyo, although the latter put pen to paper on a new deal at Bournemouth.

Spurs could get a second chance to sign Mbeumo though with Man Utd dithering over the transfer fee that Brentford want for the versatile forward.

What West Ham won’t want is to have a rebuild put on hold because they have priced Kudus out of a transfer and clubs turn their attentions elsewhere.

It’s got last day departure written all over it.

Tottenham are being linked with a player who might have raised some red flags during his time with his current club. Spurs are on the lookout for new talent this summer as they look to prepare for Champions League football next term, and Thomas Frank does have needs aplenty.

One of his biggest needs lies in the midfield, with Tottenham needing more depth in the middle, especially amid concern over Yves Bissouma, his performances and his future. One player Spurs are now being linked with is Benfica midfielder Ozun Kokcu, a Netherlands-born Türkiye international.

Kokcu made his name under Arne Slot at Feyenoord before securing a move to Benfica in 2023. Though, Kokcu quickly fell out with manager Roger Schmidt. He said: “It wasn’t what I expected. From the beginning they never made me feel important. Not even for the coach.”

He added in a separate interview: “I am the type of football player who performs better for the team if given freedom. I want to give much more to the team. Just remember how I played much better in the season I was champion with Feyenoord, even in European games. Even during Ramadan, as I am experiencing now, I was playing better than at Benfica.

“Schmidt ties me too much to all kinds of defensive tasks. And that is not positive if you really want to get the most out of my qualities. I am the type of player who finds solutions in the area, who thinks very quickly and makes the team progress. Even this season, all my statistics underline that. I can do much more for Benfica and that may be where part of my frustration lies.”

The midfielder continued: “No. I can guarantee now that I never lost confidence. I went through a difficult period because of the fight for my place in the team, but at that time I looked again at the list of all the Dutch internationals who chose me as Footballer of the Year: Ruud Gullit, Wim Kieft, Bert van Marwijk, Jaap Stam, Arnold Mühren, Arie Haan, Roy Makaay, all men who won awards at the highest level. The list is huge. They saw the same as me. Moreover, I think I have proven in the last few seasons what I am worth to a team if the coach uses me the right way.”

CaughtOffside have reported that Tottenham are now pushing for a £40million deal to sign Kokcu, who is now working under Bruno Lage at Benfica. Though, according to Sports Digitale, the midfielder has told Benfica he does not plan to return for pre-season training as he seeks a move away, with a few clubs interested in his services. Though, he was involved in Benfica’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign this summer.

Spurs may need a midfielder, but they will want to tread carefully given the way Kokcu has openly criticised a club he is currently working for. Naturally, the Turkish international may well have grounds to fee the way he does, but he hasn’t gone the right way about forcing his way out of the club.

Slot praise

One boss Kokcu has praised is former Feyenoord boss Arne Slot. He said in the same interview: “ He always allowed me to use my strengths and saw that before me. I dare say that for me he is the best coach of all time. As a human being, verbally and tactically. When I played against him and heard that he was going to be our coach, I still thought: this is not going to happen… I knew how he had AZ playing and, as a young player, I didn’t think I fit the style of play he used.

“But he started working on all the finishing points of my game. In terms of football, I could always participate, but there was still a final part of my development missing. That’s why I owe him a lot.”

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to return to the table with another bid for West Ham United man Mohamed Kudus with personal terms not said to be an issue, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Spurs have seen an offer of around £50m rejected by West Ham but are expected to submit another bid with Kudus keen on a move to North London. After winning the Europa League under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs are looking to build a squad strong enough to compete in the Premier League and Champions League.

Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel have joined on permanent deals following their loans, with the pair costing just north of £50m. Luka Vuskovic has also joined from Hajduk Split. Kudus has been dubbed as a “top target” by Romano, who gave an encouraging update on the move from a Tottenham perspective.

Fabrizio Romano gives update on Tottenham Hotspur move for Mohamed Kudus

Romano said on his YouTube channel: “What I'm told about Kudus is that Tottenham made the first proposal to West Ham, it was rejected because West Ham didn't want to accept that value for the player. The bid was something around £50m.

“Tottenham are expected to bid again for Kudusm so in the next days Tottenham want to attack. Thomas Frank has approved internally Kudus as a top target for Tottenham this summer, as a crucial target for Tottenham this summer.

“So they are prepared to advance and push for Kudus and then, on the player side and probably the best news for Spurs fans is that it is my understanding Kudus wants to go to Tottenham.

“Kudus is giving total priority to Tottenham, he is not negotiating with other clubs because he's giving priority and his intention is to go to Tottenham, so when you see the player with his intention it's probably the best news possible for the club to try to get the deal done.

“Kudus is taking a position he wants to go to Tottenham, he has an agreement with Tottenham and personal terms are not an issue and so Kudus is pushing to make his move to Spurs to go with Thomas frank and to have the opportunity to play with Tottenham.”

What could Mohamed Kudus bring to Tottenham?

The 24-year-old Ghana international joined West Ham in 2023 and enjoyed an impressive first campaign in English football. He scored 14 goals and provided nine assists in 45 games for the Hammers. In 35 games last term, he netted five goals and provided four assists.

He was described as “outstanding” by Liverpool manager Arne Slot after the Hammers lost 2-1 at Anfield to a late Virgil van Dijk header. He can also play in several positions across the forward line, offering some versatility to Frank. He played at left-wing, centre-forward and right-wing for West Ham last term.

He has an £85m release clause in his contract with the Irons but according to ESPN, the Hammers are willing to let him go for less than that figure.

Tottenham Hotspur remain locked in talks with West Ham over a potential transfer swoop for Mohammed Kudus with the latest reports claiming that the Hammers have rejected a £50 million bid for the player.

Sky Sports claim that there is a ‘big gap’ in valuation between Spurs and West Ham over the Ghana international. Kudus has an £85 million release clause in his current deal.

It’s not thought that West Ham will demand that full fee but, given that Kudus is contracted until 2028, Spurs’ London rivals could hold firm and not budge until that clause is activated. Should that be the case, then Daniel Levy and Thomas Frank must look to take their money elsewhere.

Tottenham Hotspur must exercise caution in Mohammed Kudus interest

There is no doubting that Kudus has the potential to be an important member of the Tottenham Hotspur team. His exploits over the 2023/24 season were head turning as he transitioned to the Premier League in record time. He wasn’t the only West Ham player to underwhelm last term and that campaign certainly won’t define the rest of his career.

There are some hesitations over the player’s temperament. As well as finding himself in a rut last season, Kudus was shown a red card against Spurs, and a subsequent FA ban, for lashing out at Micky van de Ven. Speaking after the game, former West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui said: “Unfortunately Kudus is going to be out for three matches because his behaviour was not good and he knows that.

Spurs should take £85 million elsewhere

Given that huge price tag and potential flaws, that £85 million could perhaps be better spent elsewhere. Fichajes claim that Spurs are ‘closely monitoring’ Atalanta star Ademola Lookman, alongside Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Atletico Madrid.

The report claims that Lookman could be available for as little as €45 million, roughly £38 million. That would be a much better spend of money. Lookman bagged 20 goals and picked up seven assists across all competitions last season and would arrive at Spurs with Premier League, Champions League, Europa League and Conference League experience.

The winger knows what it takes to win competitions too, lifting the Europa League with Atalanta in 2024. He was named in the tournament’s Team of the Season that year.

Spending around £40 million on Lookman would leave another £40 million to spend elsewhere, if Tottenham Hotspur were thinking of unlocking that £85 million Kudus release clause. TEAMtalk claims that Spurs have lodged a £32 million bid to sign Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.

That is said to have been instantly rejected by the Cottagers, but an increased bid would surely tempt Fulham. Spurs could offer Muniz the opportunity to play European football too.

At 24 years old, there’s a feeling that the best is still to come from the Brazilian, who scored eight Premier League goals last term - that’s three more than Kudus in 1,600 fewer minutes. The West Ham man is a talent, but Tottenham Hotspur appear to hold interest in two alternatives who could provide more for the same price.

A swap deal should be on the cards for Tottenham and Fulham as they ponder the possibility of doing transfer business this summer. Spurs are gearing up for a Champions League season, needing to improve significantly under Thomas Frank if they are going to compete in that competition and compete for European qualification through the Premier League.

As for Fulham, they just missed out on European football last season and will want to go one better in the next campaign, with Marco Silva likely wanting to see more progress from his men.

But the Cottagers are facing the possibility of losing one of their best players, with interest aplenty in star left-back Antonee Robinson. Tottenham are one club who have been linked with a move for the American, and that should come as no surprise.

Even Liverpool boss Arne Slot said of Robinson last season: “He is definitely a threat. I saw this when Fulham played Arsenal and against us. He is having a great season. But the good thing about a left-back who wants to attack is that he takes the risk of leaving Mo in a position where he can hurt you in transition. That has happened multiple times this season. We have to make sure we take care of that part and have a good answer to Robinson. Every team brings you challenges and Fulham will do so also."

Fulham boss Silva said of Robinson: “He’s been great for us. He’s one of the best left-backs in this league. It’s not just the way he is able to stop players, but the way he is able to help ourselves. In open play, last season he was the full-back in this league with (the) most assists and this season (he) is probably one of the full-backs with the most assists.”

The Cottagers will now want to lose Robinson, but if they do, they will reportedly command around £45million for the sale.

Spurs should offer swap deal

Tottenham don’t currently have space for a left-back, so if they are going to sign Robinson, they should offer a swap deal that would see one of their current left-backs head to Fulham. The obvious candidate is Djed Spence, who is valued at around £20million, meaning Spurs could save just under half of the Robinson fee by proposing a player-plus-cash deal.

Spence had a real resurgence last season, and he has proven himself a more than capable Premier League left-back. Like Robinson, he is also a player who likes to use his pace to get forward, and that could see Silva replace Robinson with a player who has a similar mindset while also bringing in a healthy profit.

Former Tottenham boss said of Spence and his progress last season: “To a certain extent [I've been surprised], but I've always kept an open mind about these things. There's obviously a player there, there was never any doubt about that. Why it hadn't worked out, you always try to figure out, there must be a reason. So I don't know if it's a surprise but it's a credit to him.

"I made it difficult for him, to be fair. I didn't make it easy for him, it's not like I said to him 'Djed, you're here, we love you, stay'. I purposefully made it difficult for him because I thought that was going to be the test. To see, earlier in the year when he wasn't playing or part of squads, how he was training, he was reacting to things, and he never got disengaged.

"He was always engaged and that made an impression on everyone - me, the coaches, his teammates - and from then on, it's just been all about him. All I did was say 'you've earned a shot at it, here it is' and he's been brilliant. You know there's a player there and sometimes you just need certain things to click into gear.

"The penny drops at different times for different players. For some of them it drops at 18, for some it drops a bit later when they realise this is what I have to do to get the most out of my career, and it's a credit to him. He's an outstanding player, I'm super pleased we've still got him in the building. It would have been super easy for him to be playing elsewhere."

Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank will be looking to put his own stamp on his newly inherited squad this summer. He has the chance to bring in new signings over the next couple of months. The Dane also has the opportunity to let some players head out the exit door as well if needed.

Spurs picked him as their replacement for Ange Postecoglou and he will be eager to impress. The London outfit finished down in 17th place in the Premier League table last season. Nevertheless, they were able to win the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur eye Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson

Spurs are interested in a move for Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson, according to journalist Sami Mokbel. They are being linked with a swoop for the defender. His current club could face a battle to keep him at Craven Cottage amid attention from elsewhere.

Mokbel has said: “I’ve heard there is an interest in the player from Tottenham. I’m not sure how advanced it is or if it has the legs to come to fruition. If it’s the basic question of do Tottenham have an interest in Antonee Robinson, the answer to that is yes, whether that has legs, I’m not sure at the moment.”

Robinson, 27, has been with Fulham since 2020 and has become one of their most prized assets. He has made 189 appearances in all competitions, 38 of which came in the last campaign, and he has chipped in with three goals from the back. His contract at Craven Cottage runs until 2028 meaning the Whites are under no pressure to sell him anytime soon and they can wait for the right offer to come in for his signature.

Would Antonee Robinson suit Tottenham Hotspur?

Spurs could see Robinson as an update on Destiny Udogie. If he joined, he would boost their defensive department. The USA international has also played for the likes of Everton, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic in the past.

Following a match away at Liverpool last term, Fulham manager Marco Silva was full of praise for him and said: “What a performance. It’s really difficult to find one moment where he wasn’t at a really high level. Not easy to come here playing against a player like (Mo) Salah, the way normally they like to expose the left-back. We took that risk, to go one-v-one, many times. He was so brave, he was so assertive, he was so aggressive in the right way and he did it so, so well.”

Silva added: “He’s improving so, so quick in some things. I know him very well from Everton, but the way he’s improving in some set-ups, defensive set-ups, being much more brave in the way he faces one-v-one situations, the way he goes inside the spaces as well.

“And of course, again, two assists form a full-back at Anfield shows the quality that he has. I remember some seasons ago, even last season, many people were talking about his decision making, but already he’s the player from our team with more assists for sure. Being clear, what a performance from him. What a performance. Brilliant, unbelievable performance from him, and I told him at the end of the game that he has to be really proud.”

Tottenham are being linked with a reported Chelsea target as they gear up for a Champions League campaign. Spurs have lots of shopping to do, with Thomas Frank needing to improve the standard within his new squad after the same squad endured a disastrous Premier League campaign under Ange Postecoglou last term.

Daniel Levy and the Tottenham chiefs will surely understand the need to strengthen this summer, and Frank will have almost certainly demanded a certain level of recruitment before taking the job.

One of the positions Tottenham need to strengthen is out wide. Mathys Tel may have stuck around, but the Timo Werner loan experiment didn’t pan out, and there is little doubting that more competition is needed on the flanks. Spurs could make a statement signing out wide, and according to some reports, West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus is an option.

Kudus has been heavily linked wit Chelsea this summer, reportedly carrying an asking price of £65million. The winger is said to be the main option for Chelsea if they decide to replace Noni Madueke.

Spurs have been mooted as another possible option, and according to David Ornstein, the North London club could be an attractive option for the West Ham star. He told The Athletic: “They have a reported interest in him. We don’t know of it being more than him being one of the options they’re considering. We’ve reported that they enquired about Antoine Semenyo at Bournemouth having previously liked Bryan Mbeumo and Semenyo has signed a new contract.

“So yeah, Kudus is in the orbit of clubs like Tottenham. West Ham might need to sell a player and he’s their most obvious asset. I think Tottenham would carry appeal to someone like him, Champions League football and staying in London, but there will be other options as well, and I don’t think this one is close to a conclusion as of yet.”

Kudus’ struggles last season

Kudus made a big impression in his first season at West Ham, but he struggled to produce in a Hammers side that struggled as a whole last term. Addressign the winger’s form last season, Graham Potter admitted: “Yea (Kudus has struggled), I think he’s probably had a season that – from his perspective – would be a little bit disappointing.

“And it’s for different reasons, not because his lack of effort or anything like that – just sometimes these things happen. Speaking personally he’s been great with us in terms of how he’s worked every day, fantastic. He’s built his fitness up, built his condition up to the point where he can sustain things a lot better now.

“Football can go like that sometimes. You can have a little spell where it doesn’t quite happen for you in front of goal or that final pass just doesn’t quite get there. But it doesn’t take much to turn that around because how he contributed against Arsenal for example in our win there, even though he didn’t score or assist, he was a top, top player in that game and massively helped us. So the numbers do say something – but there’s also other aspects of his performance that have been really, really good.”

Tottenham Hotspur continue to have a quieter transfer market so far compared to London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal as Thomas Frank gets his affairs in order.

The Blues have snapped up Liam Delap with Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro to follow. Meanwhile, Kepa Arrizabalaga has arrived at Arsenal with Martin Zubimendi seemingly imminent too.

There is still plenty of time for Spurs to get their business done. LondonWorld looks at how the team could line up next season based on current transfer rumours if a ‘sensible’ approach is taken.

Tottenham Hotspur ‘sensible’ XI according to transfer rumours

Goalkeeper: Guglielmo Vicario

Defenders: Djed Spence, Castello Lukeba, Micky Van de Ven, Kyle Walker-Peters

Guglielmo Vicario will surely continue as number one between the sticks with January signing Antonin Kinsky as deputy. Thomas Frank has other areas to focus on with recruitment this summer.

One of those could be defence. Cristian Romero continues to be linked with a move to Atletico Madrid with TEAMtalk suggesting that the La Liga giants will meet Spurs’ lofty £60 million asking price. Should he leave, that money could be invested in RB Leipzig centre-back Castello Lukeba according to Footmercato.

Micky Van de Ven should continue his progress under Frank, as will rising star Djed Spence, with Football Insider suggesting Kyle Walker-Peters could return to the club as a free agent following his exit from Southampton.

Midfielders: Yegor Yarmolyuk, Archie Gray, James Maddison

Tottenham Hotspur lacked bite in midfield at times last season, leaving the defence exposed and on the end of drubbings. Frank’s tactics will likely be less gung-ho than Ange Postecoglou but the addition of Yegor Yarmolyuk would help with that.

The Ukrainian has been impressing somewhat under the radar at Brentford and was one of the first players to be linked with Spurs following Frank’s switch. OneFootbal this week suggested that interest is still there from north London, with Leeds United also linked.

Spurs make two bids for West Ham forward

Wingers: Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel

Striker: Dominic Solanke

Dominic Solanke scored nine Premier League goals in his first Spurs campaign but there’s a feeling that there is more to come from the former AFC Bournemouth man, who had a stop-start campaign due to injury.

He’ll receive support on the flank from Mathys Tel, whose loan move from Bayern Munich has been made permanent for £30 million. There’s likely to be a new addition in the winger position too. Bryan Mbeumo and Eberechi Eze had been linked but Spurs have now sent two bids for West Ham man Mohammed Kudus, who appears the most likely target.
