Description

Former Tottenham Hotspur managing director of football Fabio Paratici is likely to return to the club this summer, according to Corriere della Sera (via Sport Witness).

The North London side will reportedly re-hire the Italian executive two years after he left the role, despite strong interest from AC Milan, who recently held a meeting with Paratici in Italy.

The 52-year-old is believed to have felt 'somewhat messed around' by Milan and is not convinced that everyone at the club wants him, despite the Rossoneri's long-standing interest.

Paratici is set to return to football following his 18-month suspension for financial irregularities during his time at Juventus and is now expected to reunite with Daniel Levy.

The Italian resigned from his role at Spurs in April 2023 after losing an appeal in Italy against his ban, which was initially set to last 30 months.

Paratici has been in talks to become Milan’s new sporting director for several weeks amid his anticipated return to football.

The 52-year-old is free to return to work in the summer when his suspension ends, although he has continued to have a presence at Spurs ever since his departure two years ago.

He is a consultant for the North London club and has been a regular at their home games, while recent reports have also highlighted his great relationship with Levy.

The Tottenham chairman is believed to be particularly keen on Paratici’s return to the club, as he has ‘huge respect’ for the Italian and his work in North London during the two-year stint.

Paratici was responsible for signing the likes of Cristian Romero, Pedro Porro, Destiny Udogie and Dejan Kulusevski, as well as appointing manager Antonio Conte.

Alasdair Gold: 'World-Class' Tottenham Star Misses Training Ahead of Bodo/Glimt

Alasdair Gold: 'World-Class' Tottenham Star Misses Training Ahead of Bodo/Glimt - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a blow in preparations for their Europa League semi-final on Thursday - with reporter Alasdair Gold stating that South Korean legend Son Heung-min didn't partake in training ahead of their showdown with Bodo/Glimt.

Spurs' season has been notable for all the wrong reasons: crashing out of the FA Cup early, losing heavily in their League Cup semi-final with Liverpool and, above all else, suffering a shambolic campaign in the Premier League. But the Europa League could be their saving grace, with the chance to end their trophy drought and qualify for next season's Champions League as a result of winning the tournament.

But they may have to do so without their 'world-class' star, with Gold posting on X (formerly Twitter) that Ange Postecoglou was without the forward in training on Wednesday morning - which could prohibit them against the Norwegian minnows. Posting on social media, the Football London journalist stated:

"No Son Heung-min in Spurs training this morning."

Son hasn't had his best season by any means, but he's still scored 11 goals in all competitions under the Australian boss, and with 12 assists, he's still had a huge say in Tottenham's campaign despite it being well below-par. Having made 451 appearances for the club with 173 goals and 98 assists to boot, he'll be massively important in the final few games of the European campaign - and Postecoglou will be wary of his missing influence through injury.

Richarlison, Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert will be the top candidates to fill in for the South Korean legend, with Mikey Moore an outside shout. But with Tel having started in their previous Europa League clash in the incredible 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt two weeks ago, he could be trusted to feature alongside Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson in a goal-grabbing front three, to give Spurs a huge advantage ahead of their trip to the Arctic Circle next week.

Tottenham Hotspur are among a host of Premier League clubs showing interest in a summer move for Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino, according to Fichajes.

The Lilywhites, along with Everton and Bournemouth, have reportedly enquired about the 22-year-old forward’s situation in Spain as they look to bolster their forward options ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Pino is believed to be open to a move to England after this summer, although Villarreal are reluctant to sell as he still has over two years remaining on his contract, which runs until June 2027.

The 14-cap Spain international has been a regular for Villarreal this term, scoring two goals and providing eight assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.

Tottenham Keeping Tabs on Yeremy Pino

The 22-year-old is open to Premier League move

According to Fichajes, while English clubs have long admired Pino, there now appears to be greater determination to sign him in the upcoming window.

The 22-year-old’s versatility, as he is able to play on either flank, and off-ball movement make him a particularly appealing option to Premier League sides, including Tottenham.

Pino, praised as ‘outstanding’, rose through the youth ranks at Villarreal before breaking into their first team in the 2020/21 season and making his debut under Unai Emery at the age of 18.

The Spanish forward, who reportedly has a £67m release clause, has already amassed 163 senior appearances to date, scoring 20 goals and providing 20 assists in all competitions.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Pino has scored three goals in 14 appearances for Spain.

Tottenham are anticipating a busy summer amid a troublesome domestic season, as they sit just 16th with four games to play.

The Lilywhites are now heading for what could be their worst Premier League finish ever, having never ended outside the top 15 since the competition’s inception in 1992/93.

Tottenham Hotspur are exploring a deal to sign Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford ahead of the summer transfer window, according to insider Mick Brown, speaking to Football Insider.

Rashford struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford after Ruben Amorim arrived through the door and was subsequently sent on loan to Aston Villa for the second half of the season. The England international has flourished since joining the Midlands club, and his future is up in the air as he prepares to return to United this summer.

It's unclear whether Villa will look to sign Rashford, previously called 'world-class' by teammate Rasmus Hojlund, on a permanent deal just yet, but it certainly wouldn't be a surprise if they did, considering his form for the club this season. If they opt against securing his signature, other clubs could enter the race to sign him from United.

Tottenham Interested in Signing Marcus Rashford

He might not be keen on the move

Speaking to Football Insider, former scout Brown has suggested that Tottenham are looking into what it would take to sign Rashford in the summer transfer window. Unfortunately for Spurs, Rashford, who reportedly earns around £300,000-a-week, might not be interested in the move with the English attacker wanting to play Champions League football...

“Tottenham are looking into what it would take to sign Rashford. But they have to make a decision about what direction they’re going in. You can’t just throw a load of players in and hope it works, they need to find some stability and I don’t think that’s what Marcus would give them. From what I hear, he’s not convinced by that move either. He wants to be playing Champions League football and competing at the highest level."

Tottenham do have a chance of competing in Europe's elite club competition next season, but they will have to win the Europa League this term. Ange Postecoglou's side face Bodo/Glimt in the semi-final, and a win will see them meet either Manchester United or Athletic Club.

The Athletic's David Ornstein recently reported that Rashford will likely miss the remainder of the season due to picking up a hamstring injury. The United loanee won't require surgery, but he's in a race against time to feature for the Villans again.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur are refusing to rule out the possibility of attempting to discover whether it would be possible to sign Conor Gallagher if current employers Atletico Madrid up the ante in their pursuit of Hotspur Way duo Cristian Romero and Rodrigo Bentancur, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.

Although Spurs will have to fork out £20.9million to keep Kevin Danso in the summer, thanks to the central defender's initial loan switch from Lens including an obligation to buy, boss Ange Postecoglou and other influential figures behind the scenes have been formulating plans to make adjustments to the squad.

Romero has already shown a willingness to embark on a fresh challenge, having publicly confirmed a desire to head to Spain, and Tottenham are scouring the market for potential reinforcements as their Europa League semi-final first leg against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt edges closer.

Spurs May Ask About Gallagher's Availability

North Londoners have retained long-term admiration for midfielder

Tottenham could make a cheeky enquiry to sign Gallagher if Atletico Madrid come knocking for Romero and Bentancur, according to GMS sources, with the north Londoners looking to make the most of any contact with the La Liga heavyweights during the fast-approaching summer transfer window.

The 21-cap England international headed to the Spanish capital less than 12 months ago, thanks to completing a £36million switch from Chelsea in August, but Spurs will consider attempting to gauge whether a move back to the Premier League is possible should his current employers raid the north Londoners.

GMS sources have been informed that Tottenham have retained their long-term admiration for Gallagher at a time when they have been eager to improve their options in the middle of the park and, having seen him adjust to life at Atletico Madrid, they would see no harm in asking about his availability.

The 25-year-old central midfielder has been described as a 'pitbull' since moving onto pastures new and Spurs chief Postecoglou is keeping tabs on his situation as he looks to reinvigorate a squad sitting just above the Premier League's relegation zone for lengthy spells of the campaign.

But Tottenham could face a battle to turn Gallagher's head if they choose to up the ante as he has been enjoying his time in Spain and feels he can get even better after a productive first season in Atletico Madrid's colours, GMS sources have learned, resulting in there not being an urge to make a quickfire return to his homeland.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Conor Gallagher won three ground duels and got his name on the scoresheet during Atletico Madrid's victory over Rayo Vallecano last week

Romero and Bentancur Have Genuine Interest

Pair wanted in Spanish capital ahead of transfer window reopening

GMS sources have been told that Atletico Madrid's intent to land Romero and Bentancur is genuine, but Tottenham are not entirely happy that their interest has been made public and they could make it difficult for the La Liga side to hold successful negotiations by refusing to lower their demands.

The central defender and midfielder are on contracts which allow them to pocket a combined total of £240,000-per-week in their current surroundings, meaning their respective departures would free up further funds for Spurs to bring in fresh faces, but moving to the Riyadh Air Metropolitano is not a foregone conclusion.

Tottenham have accepted that Romero's head will be turned by the chance to join Atletico Madrid, but GMS sources understand they remain more hopeful that Bentancur can be convinced to stay in north London, particularly if Postecoglou is replaced in the dugout ahead of next season.

GMS sources recently revealed that Spurs are considering Jurgen Klopp, Xabi Alonso and Carlo Ancelotti as potential successors, with key decision-makers showing determination to pinpoint ambitious targets before fully committing to earmarking a frontrunner for the potential job vacancy.

Description

Tottenham should look into appointing Scott Parker as their next manager should they sack Ange Postecoglou, with the Burnley boss likely to be interested in the job according to Bryan King.

Current manager Postecoglou's future is hanging in the balance after a horrendous Premier League campaign which currently sees them sitting in 16th place after 19 defeats this season, while they are also in the Europa League semi-finals.

But the expectation remains that even if they find success in European competition then the former Celtic man will leave the club, and Parker has now emerged as a potential target despite securing promotion from the Championship in his current role.

Tottenham Told to Appoint Parker

Ex-midfielder would be keen on role

Reports last week suggested that Parker, who played for the club during his career, has admirers within Tottenham about potentially taking over from Postecoglou following his record-breaking campaign with Burnley this season.

King, a former Spurs scout, was speaking to 'Tottenham Hotspur News' and he suggested that Parker would be "very interested in the job" should it be offered to him and claimed the £10m compensation needed wouldn't be a deal-breaker either.

“Parker has worked at clubs where the budgets haven’t been large.

“He is a young up-and-coming manager, so why not look to him? It can’t be any worse than what we have had. He is an ex-Tottenham player. Therefore, I’d imagine he would be very interested in the job if it were offered to him.

“Tottenham will have to pay a compensation fee, probably around £10million. However, in today’s football market, that is a small price to pay.”

Tottenham have also been strongly linked with interest in Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola and Fulham manager Marco Silva as potential replacements, but the Spaniard has rejected the opportunity to hold talks with the club while Silva is in talks over a new deal at Craven Cottage.

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has also been earmarked as a target, but Palace's demand for at least £17m in compensation could prove to be a stumbling block - and makes the £10m it would take to get Parker look like far better value for money.

Tottenham are leading the race to sign sensational Lyon star Rayan Cherki this summer, according to CaughtOffside.

The French playmaker has lit up Ligue 1 and the Europa League this season with his boyhood club, registering 12 goals and 18 assists in all competitions, and the Lilywhites are said to be keen on adding creativity to their squad in the upcoming transfer window.

Cherki is now expected to leave Lyon at the end of the season due to their financial situation and big interest in his signature, but it's Spurs who are said to be at the front of the queue currently.

Tottenham Frontrunners for Cherki

Player wants Premier League move

Tottenham are expected to be busy in the summer transfer window with Timo Werner's loan definitely not being renewed, while Mathys Tel's future is up in the air and the club will consider offers for Richarlison - who GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed is attracting interest from former club Everton.

There are also doubts over manager Ange Postecoglou's future for next season, with some suggestion that James Maddison could look to leave if the Australian ends up staying in north London.

All those question marks in attack explain why Spurs are looking to move for Cherki, who is expected to be available for as little as £25m due to a release clause in his contract, which Fabrizio Romano has described as complicated.

Spurs are said to be leading the race alongside Manchester United, while there is also interest from the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle and Aston Villa in the Premier League as well as Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus and AC Milan across Europe.

But the 21-year-old, who has been described as "one of the most skilful players on Earth" by Frank Lebouef, is said to be keen on a new challenge and views the Premier League as his preferred destination.

It remains to be seen if Levy will make a move for the young star while the future of the manager is still up in the air, but if he decisive then there is every chance Cherki will be playing his football at Tottenham next season.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur could look to make a deal with AC Milan in the summer transfer window, with two players exchanging positions from the Premier League to San Siro - as Fikayo Tomori has been touted for a move to the English capital, with Rodrigo Bentancur going the other way.

Bentancur has only started in 19 Premier League games this season, scoring twice in the league - and having made 107 appearances for Tottenham in five years, he's been a dependable member of Ange Postecoglou's squad. But Tottenham need to strengthen in other positions, and Tomori could be available for a switch - with the Uruguayan potentially on his way to Italy.

Report: Tottenham Could Swap Bentancur for Tomori

Defensive recruits are needed in north London

The report by Spazio Milan states that the San Siro outfit could look to close an important deal with Spurs - with Tomori and Bentancur potentially being used in a swap deal.

Milan's recent form in Serie A has been poor, winning just four of their previous 10 games in the top-flight, dropping as low as ninth in the table - and although they have made the final of the Coppa Italia alongside winning the Supercoppa in early January, it's still been a massively disappointing campaign. As a result, many changes are expected in terms of the squad in the coming weeks - and Tomori could be one star cut from their current squad to make way for another player.

The player in question is Bentancur; Milan need new defensive recruits, and with Tottenham needing a new centre-back through the door, it's an exchange that could 'intertwine' with Postecoglou's needs for the 'exceptional' defender.

Tomori was previously linked with Tottenham last summer, and in January, though any negotiations broke down - and the England international has now reached the 'final stages' of his time in Lombardy after a 'disappointing' season, where he could say goodbye to the San Siro outfit after joining five seasons ago.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Fikayo Tomori has made five caps for England.

With 172 appearances for the Rossoneri since his loan deal that turned permanent back in 2021, Tomori has been a dependable member of their squad, winning the Serie A title back in 2021/22 - and Tottenham will need that experience in their side. Tomori lived in London as a youngster, coming through Chelsea's academy, making 27 appearances for the Blues - and a return to the capital could be on the cards yet again.

Tottenham Hotspur could complete a shock move for West Ham United skipper Jarrod Bowen in the summer transfer window - with reports suggesting that Daniel Levy is ready to make an offer for his services in the coming months.

Bowen joined West Ham back in January 2020, and has been an immense figure at the London Stadium, scoring the bulk of their goals as well as nabbing the all-important winner in their Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina back in June 2023. But his time could be up if Spurs make their move - with Bowen being considered as a top target.

Report: Tottenham 'Could Make £50m Bid' for Jarrod Bowen

The north London outfit are looking to add attacking recruits

The report by CaughtOffside states that Bowen could come under a £51million offer from Tottenham in the summer months after a number of stellar seasons at West Ham.

The forward has been linked with a move away from the club for quite some time, with Liverpool keen on securing his signature - and despite coming up as one of the most popular names in the transfer window, West Ham aren't considering the sale of their star man.

The Hammers know the importance and outstanding quality that Bowen has, and they are unlikely to entertain any offers for the England international amidst his leadership and goalscoring ability, which have been vital to the club for a number of years - seeing him called 'special' by former boss David Moyes.

However, CaughtOffside sources have revealed that Premier League strugglers Spurs could make an offer of up to €60million (£51million) for Bowen in a bid to unsettle the Hammers star and take him from the east to the north of the capital.

Tottenham have lacked incisiveness in the final third at times this season, thanks to Dejan Kulusevki being dropped into his role as a number eight - and Bowen would fix that whilst offering Brennan Johnson much-needed minutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Jarrod Bowen has 16 caps for England, scoring his only goal against Ireland back in November.

Bowen can operate anywhere across the front three, and fits the bill as a Premier League-proven star, with 52 goals for the Hammers in just 189 top-flight appearances - and nine goals in just 30 outings this time around have shown his proficiency under both Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter in what has been a hugely testing campaign for the Irons.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report from Fichajes.

Calvert-Lewin could be on the move when the window opens, with his contract at Everton expiring this summer. The English striker has struggled to find consistency over the last few years, predominantly due to injury troubles, which have kept him on the treatment table.

After a catastrophic season in the Premier League, Tottenham could look to bring in a host of reinforcements over the coming months. Ange Postecoglou's side see themselves battling towards the bottom of the table, and Daniel Levy will need to splash the cash to help turn things around.

Tottenham Eyeing Bargain Move for Calvert-Lewin

He's rejected an Everton contract extension

According to a report from Fichajes, Tottenham are interested in signing Everton striker Calvert-Lewin ahead of the summer transfer window. The towering centre-forward is out of contract, meaning Spurs could secure him on a free transfer, and the report claims that he's already rejected a contract extension offer from the Toffees.

Although Spurs burst the bank to sign Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth last summer, adding Calvert-Lewin could give them extra firepower in attack. The 26-year-old is Premier League proven, despite a lack of form of late, and could be an ideal backup in attack.

Calvert-Lewin, who currently earns £120,000-a-week at Everton, will have to weigh up his next move as there's no doubt he will be wanting to play regular minutes. At Tottenham, there's a strong chance he will have to play second fiddle to Solanke, considering the money they invested in him, so it will be interesting to see whether he's keen on joining the north London club.

Everton are set for a busy summer with a host of players, alongside Calvert-Lewin, being out of contract. As a result, there's a good chance they'll make another play to try and tie him down to a new deal.
