Description

Tottenham Hotspur could face a major transfer battle this summer, with Real Madrid reportedly circling one of their brightest young talents.

Tottenham Hotspur have struggled for consistency this season, and it is no surprise they find themselves battling to stay up.

Should the Lilywhites lose their Premier League status, there will be significant financial repercussions, including sponsors leaving the club, with one Tottenham sponsor already set to depart at the end of the season.

The future of several current players will also be in doubt, with members of the first-team squad likely to be poached by several clubs across Europe.

Tottenham midfielder Archie Gray wanted by Real Madrid in

A fresh report from Sports Boom now claims that Real Madrid have taken a shine to Archie Gray. The young midfielder is emerging as one of Tottenham’s more consistent performers this season, delivering solid displays in defence and midfield.

However, it is understood that his consistency and versatility have caught Madrid’s attention, and the Spanish giants are keen on a summer 2026 deal.

The report claims that Los Blancos scouts have been impressed by Gray, with a belief that the former Leeds United star possesses an ‘elite footballing brain’.

MORE SPURS STORIES

This report comes after it was revealed earlier in the month that Spurs youngster Lucas Bergvall has also attracted interest from Premier League clubs, with Chelsea and Aston Villa keen to sign the Swede.

Spurs set £55m asking price as Bayern Munich join Archie Gray race

Sports Boom’s report goes on to claim that Tottenham have placed a significant asking price on the teenager, stating that Gray is valued at around £55m.

Real Madrid are not the only club credited with interest, as Bayern Munich, who are set to lose Leon Goretzka this summer, are also said to be monitoring the former Leeds United midfielder.

The youngster represents one of Spurs’ better investments in recent windows, and it remains to be seen whether they part ways with the teenager this summer.

Description

Fresh insight has emerged over whether Tottenham Hotspur are actively pursuing a Mauricio Pochettino return, as speculation continues to swirl around the club’s next managerial move.

Tottenham Hotspur fans will hope their side can see out what has been a dismal Premier League season and avoid relegation.

Should that happen, supporters will demand far better next term, and that begins with the permanent managerial appointment.

Several names have been mentioned as favourites for the Tottenham job, with both Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto De Zerbi viewed as Spurs’ top two candidates, while Marco Silva, Oliver Glasner and Andoni Iraola have also been linked as the club prepare to make a key decision ahead of next season.

Tottenham return for Mauricio Pochettino addressed by Alan Brazil

Many Spurs fans have made it clear that Pochettino is their preferred appointment, as the Argentine’s name was sung during Thomas Frank’s final game in charge against Newcastle United.

Reports have also suggested that Tottenham are working behind the scenes to agree a deal with Pochettino.

However, Alan Brazil has now provided an update on whether the club have made any approach.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Speaking on talkSPORT Breakfast, Brazil addressed the speculation and claimed there has been no contact. He said: “The latest is, they have not even spoken to him.

“So, I do not know what they are doing, and I do not think they know what they are doing.”

Spurs must resolve Premier League status before manager decision

This is unfamiliar territory for Tottenham, a side whose Premier League status has largely been secure over the past four decades.

There is no denying that decisions made at the top of the club have gradually led Spurs to their current position in the table.

In truth, Tottenham cannot realistically make a firm call on a permanent manager while their Premier League status remains uncertain.

If they were to drop into the Championship, their targets could change significantly as they deal with the financial impact of no longer being a Premier League club.

For now, the focus must remain on seeing the season out before any decision is made regarding a new manager.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action this weekend as they make the short trip across London to face Fulham at Craven Cottage. Here’s how to watch the clash between Tottenham and Fulham on Sunday.

Igor Tudor will hope to guide Tottenham Hotspur to their first Premier League win of 2026 after a disappointing 4-1 defeat against Arsenal in his first outing.

He must, however, overcome a Fulham side who have just emerged from a difficult spell themselves, ending a run of three consecutive defeats with a 3-1 win over Sunderland.

When the two sides met earlier in the season, Marco Silva came out on top, securing a 2-1 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

When and where Fulham vs Tottenham takes place

Tottenham will take on Fulham on Sunday, 1 March 2026 at Craven Cottage, with kick-off scheduled for 14:00 (UK time).

How to watch Fulham vs Tottenham in the Premier League

Supporters in the United Kingdom can watch Fulham vs Spurs live on Sky Sports Premier League.

Spurs and Fulham team news ahead of London derby Premier League clash

Spurs have received a boost on the injury front, with Kevin Danso and Pedro Porro back in training and available for selection, although Cristian Romero remains sidelined.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall, Mohammed Kudus, Destiny Udogie, Wilson Odobert and Ben Davies are also out.

Fulham, on the other hand, will be without Kevin, Sasa Lukic and Samuel Chukwueze due to injury as they prepare for the London derby.

Spurs must seize opportunity in relegation battle

Securing a victory here is vital for Tottenham, who could create some daylight between themselves and the sides below them.

West Ham United face Liverpool this week and may drop points, and Spurs must capitalise if the Hammers fail to take anything.

The relegation scrap is now very real, with four points separating Spurs and West Ham United, making every fixture effectively a must-win.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur’s run of London derbies continues this weekend, with another capital test on the horizon as they prepare to make the short trip to Craven Cottage. We have predicted how Tottenham could line up against Fulham on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur’s clash against sides across the capital continues this weekend after they faced Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week.

It was a disappointing 4-1 defeat against their fiercest rivals, but Spurs will be looking to move on quickly from that result.

They now make the short trip across London to Craven Cottage to face Fulham, a side that has already got the better of them this season under the guidance of Thomas Frank.

Igor Tudor will be hoping to better his predecessor on Sunday after replicating his defeat against Arsenal in his first outing.

With a few injured players back fit, we have attempted to predict how Tottenham will line up against Fulham.

Tottenham predicted XI vs Fulham as Dominic Solanke and Pedro Porro return

Goalkeeper – Guglielmo Vicario: The Italian will be hoping for a quieter outing against Fulham after what was a baptism of fire last time out. He was not to blame for any of the goals conceded, and we do not expect Tudor to change him here.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Centre-back – Kevin Danso: The centre-back only just returned from injury and was back in training earlier in the week, and we expect him to be thrown straight back into the mix here.

Centre-back – Radu Dragusin: It was a poor display from Dragusin in the second half against Arsenal, but Tudor is short of options with Cristian Romero still sidelined, so the Romanian should continue at the back.

Centre-back – Micky van de Ven: The video that surfaced after the Arsenal game has not done the Dutchman any favours after he appeared to ignore Tudor’s instructions. Hopefully, that has been resolved, as we expect van de Ven to keep his spot at the back.

Right wing-back – Pedro Porro: The Spaniard has also returned from injury and should be back in the starting XI, which should see Archie Gray vacate the full-back spot.

Pivot midfielder – Joao Palhinha: The Portuguese struggled in the makeshift centre-back role against Arsenal, but we expect Tudor to restore him to his more natural position in the middle of the park.

Pivot midfielder – Archie Gray: Palhinha might not be the only one returning to his preferred position, as we expect Gray to be given a shot in midfield under the new manager.

Left wing-back – Djed Spence: Destiny Udogie remains out, and, as such, Spence should continue on the left for Tottenham.

Number 10 – Xavi Simons: The Dutchman remains the natural option for the number 10 role and should continue there, but he will be looking to improve on his derby-day display, where he was the most dispossessed player.

Number 10 – Pape Matar Sarr: In the clash against Arsenal, we saw Gallagher deployed alongside Simons, but the former Atleti man was not given a particularly advanced role. We expect Sarr to be used in the Gallagher role here against Fulham.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur are edging closer to discovering their Champions League round of 16 fate, with two potential opponents now in view ahead of Friday’s draw.

Atletico Madrid know they could face one of Tottenham Hotspur or Liverpool in the round of 16 of the Champions League following their victory over Club Brugge in yesterday’s play-off encounter.

The Spanish outfit secured a 4-1 win in the return leg at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium after drawing 3-3 in the first leg.

However, their last-16 opponent is not yet guaranteed and will be confirmed during the knockout-stage draw on Friday, 27 February.

Tottenham will play Atletico Madrid or Galatasaray in Champions League R16

While Atletico Madrid are a potential opponent for Tottenham in the next round, Galatasaray are also in the mix following their victory over Juventus in their play-off round.

That is because, following the play-off draw, it was confirmed that Spurs could take on one of four opponents – Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Club Brugge or Galatasaray.

The Turkish outfit secured a 7-5 aggregate win across the two legs, thrashing Juventus 5-2 in the first. The return leg ended 3-2 to the Old Lady, who mounted a spirited comeback and forced extra time, but ultimately fell short after being reduced to ten men following a red card.

MORE SPURS STORIES

With the play-offs now complete, Tottenham’s round-of-16 opponent will be one of Galatasaray or Atletico Madrid, with Liverpool set to face the other.

Spurs await Champions League draw with European pedigree intact

Spurs will be hoping for a favourable draw on Friday as they aim to progress in the Champions League.

However, this is the highest level, and there are no easy games, which means Tottenham must be ready to put up a fight against whoever they are drawn against.

Spurs are a side with a European pedigree, having won the Europa League last season and reached the Champions League final in 2019 and will equally be a tough opposition for whoever they are drawn against.

Tottenham and Inter Milan both keen on £26m Noah Atubolu amid Vicario rumours - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have identified a rising Bundesliga star as a possible replacement for Guglielmo Vicario amid Inter and Juventus links.

It would not be a surprise to see several exits from Spurs this summer on the back of another disastrous Premier League campaign.

One of the players who is being most heavily linked with an exit is Guglielmo Vicairo, who is thought to be open to a switch to Inter Milan in the summer.

It has now emerged that the Lilywhites are ready to make a move for a 23-year-old goalkeeper, whose stock is rising rapidly in the Bundesliga.

Tottenham eyeing move for Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu

According to a report in Fussball Europa, Tottenham have been impressed with the development of Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu.

The report says that Spurs are aware that they could lose Vicario in the summer and have thus started working on potential replacements.

The club’s recruitment department are considering an approach for Atubolu, whose impressive form at club level has seen him called up to the Germany squad recently.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The outlet claims that losing the young goalkeeper would be ‘unavoidable’ for Freiburg in the summer if they do not manage to tie him down to a new contract over the coming months.

Atubolu’s price revealed as Spurs face competition

Interestingly, Fussball Europa say that the German goalkeeper is also on the radars of Inter, who are speaking to the player’s representatives to keep updated on his situation.

Ironically, with Inter also liking the look of Vicario, we could end up seeing somewhat of a merry-go-round this summer – if Spurs part ways with the Italian.

The report adds that Freiburg will not let Atubolu leave without a fight and have placed a price tag of at least €30m (£26.1m) on him.

It is revealed that, for the moment, the 23-year-old is solely focused on having a strong end to the season and going to the World Cup.

Description

The referee for Tottenham Hotspur’s upcoming clash at Craven Cottage has now been officially confirmed, and the omens don’t look great.

Spurs will head to West London on Sunday hoping to give themselves some breathing space in the relegation battle, with both Nottingham Forest and West Ham gaining ground on them.

With the Hammers heading to Anfield on Saturday, the Lilywhites potentially have an opportunity to push further away from their London rivals.

Igor Tudor was angered by some aspects of Tottenham’s performance against Arsenal, and he will be hoping for a better showing against Fulham, having had another week to work with the squad at Hotspur Way.

Paul Tierney will officiate Tottenham’s clash against Fulham

The Premier League have now confirmed that Paul Tierney will take charge of the London derby at Craven Cottage.

Adrian Holmes and Simon Long will be Tierney’s assistants, while James Linnington is the fourth official in charge of the clash.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The VAR will be spearheaded by Craig Powsen, who will have Lee Betts to assist him at Stockley Park. However, what will worry Sprus fans is the club’s abject record in the games overseen by Tierney.

Spurs struggle to win when Tierney is in charge

Tottenham have won just five of their 22 matches that Tierney has overseen so far.

The Lilywhites have lost six times and drawn on 11 occasions in the Premier League when the 45-year-old has taken charge. However, the one piece of good news is that Tierney is not in a hurry to go to his notebook.

He has only given 38 bookings to Spurs players in his 22 games in charge, and the experienced official has never sent off a Tottenham player.

Tottenham will only stay up because Forest and West Ham are worse, Stephen Kelly

Tottenham will only stay up because Forest and West Ham are worse, Stephen Kelly - Spurs Web
Description

Former Tottenham Hotspur right-back has revealed whether he expects the Lilywhites to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

Being in a relegation battle was almost unthinkable at Spurs for over two decades, but the club are now at the very real risk of being relegated from the Premier League for the first time since the competition’s inception.

Only four points separate West Ham in 18th and Tottenham in 16th, and worringly, the East London side are looking more capable of getting results than the Lilywhites.

With some tough fixtures coming up, the North Londoners could easily find themselves in the bottom three over the coming weeks.

Stephen Kelly reveals only reason he expects Tottenham to stay up

Kelly does not expect Spurs to be relegated this season, but not because he has any faith in his former side.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The former Republic of Ireland international believes that Tottenham will be able to preserve their Premier League status, only because the sides below them are even poorer than they are.

When asked about the fact Spurs have games coming up against Fulham, Crystal Palace and Liverpool, Kelly told BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast: “You look at the fixtures coming and you feel like they are ones they could absolutely lose.

“The worrying part is the gulf in class between Spurs and Arsenal [on Sunday]. It was just enormous. You are looking at it and going ‘we are so far off that side’. They were so far off Arsenal in everything – pace, power, passing – and there was just a sense of dejection.

“They need a mentality to be able to perform at home. If you are struggling in front of your own fans and you don’t have the mental strength to be able to turn that around at home and get them back onside, because if you can get back to winning some games that can make a huge difference, but it just doesn’t feel like that is going to change between now and the end of the season.

“I don’t really want to admit it, and still feel there are teams that are really poor and won’t get themselves out of it [relegation], but the only reason Spurs will be OK is that other teams will do worse. Which is not a great thing to be talking about but is probably going to be the case, but it is not looking very good at all.”

Pundits have issued stark warnings to Spurs

Not every pundit is as confident as Kelly that Tottenham will still be in the top-flight next season.

Jamie Carragher has warned Spurs that they are on the verge of a catastrophe, given that they are struggling to get results at home.

Description

A worrying stat has emerged which suggests that Premier League relegation could be more than just a possibility for Tottenham Hotspur this season.

The defeat in the North London derby has left Spurs teetering just four points off West Ham in 18th place.

Ahead of the game, Igor Tudor confidently asserted that Tottenham will stay up this season, but that is not a view shared by most observers of the game.

Jamie Carragher has warned Spurs that they are on the verge of a catastrophe, pointing to their sustained struggles at home as a major worrying sign.

Tottenham took just three points from their corresponding 11 games last season

The Lilywhites have eleven league games to secure their Premier League status, but the corresponding results last season in those matches will not fill their supporters with optimism.

Collings has revealed on social media that in these 11 matches last term, Spurs only managed to get three points, courtesy of the win against Everton at home.

MORE SPURS STORIES

In response to Tom Allnutt sharing Opta’s stats on how likely Tottenham are to go down, Collings responded on X: “Had a look at Spurs’ final 11 PL games this year – and results from corresponding matches last season.

“Leeds and Sunderland not applicable, obviously, but in the other nine games, they took three points. One win, against Everton at home, lost the other eight.”

Even if you add the two promoted teams and give Tottenham two generous predicted wins, that still only makes nine points – which would leave them on 38 total. Teams have been relegated with that score before.

Relegation could have devastating consequences for Spurs

According to reports, Tottenham have already lost a key sponsor due to their struggles in the Premier League this term.

It has been suggested that Spurs could lose tens of millions even if they stay up, as many of their commercial partners are already reviewing their contracts with the North London club.

Tottenham may regret Yang Min-hyeok loan decision after latest developments

Tottenham may regret Yang Min-hyeok loan decision after latest developments - Spurs Web
Description

The decision-makers at Tottenham Hotspur may be wondering if they made a mistake by recalling Yang Min-hyeok from Portsmouth and loaning the winger to Coventry City for the second half of the season.

The 19-year-old winger was playing regularly at Portsmouth and had made a big impact at Fratton Park.

Yang made 16 appearances in total for Pompey, scoring three goals and laying on an assist, but the Lilywhites chose to end his spell at the South Coast prematurely.

The Spurs teenager was loaned out to Championship leaders Coventry City last month, but things are not going well for him at West Midlands.

Tottenham youngster Yang Min-hyeok is struggling for game time at Coventry City

According to Football.London, the Tottenham Hotspur winger has only made one start for Coventry since his switch last month: the FA Cup loss to Stoke City.

Yang is still waiting for his first start in the Championship for his new club, having played just 29 minutes of league football across his three appearances.

The South Korean was not even part of Coventry’s matchday squad in their most recent victories against Middlesbrough and West Brom, which may be cause for some concern for the teenager as well as Tottenham.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Should Spurs have allowed Yang to remain at Portsmouth?

The 19-year-old could have benefited from a full season of regular football at Pompey, but Tottenham evidently felt he was ready to play for a better team.

Perhaps the Spurs decision-makers wanted to challenge Yang in a more high-pressure environment and to compete for his place in the side.

While things are not going the winger’s way for now, it was always going to be hard to go into a settled team mid-season. While Yang may have preferred to get regular minutes, this experience will undoubtedly help him grow mentally stronger.
