What Tottenham did for Eberechi Eze last year could come into play this summer - Spurs Web
Description

Eberechi Eze continues to be heavily linked with a move to Tottenham, and one interesting detail has emerged about what Spurs did for the Crystal Palace star last year, which might give the Lilywhites an advantage in the transfer race.

There have been contradictory updates over the last 48 hours regarding Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of the highly-rated England international, who has been on the Lilywhites’ radar for a long time.

Some outlets have claimed that Spurs are determined to make a statement by clinching a deal for Eberechi Eze at the start of the Thomas Frank era.

However, other reports have indicated that Tottenham’s move for Eze is not advanced right now, with the North Londoners still contemplating whether to make an offer.

Why Eberechi Eze may have a soft spot for Tottenham

Some sources have even claimed over the last few days that Eze is in favour of a move to Spurs, with the attacker keen to test himself in the Champions League.

Interestingly, a report in Football Transfers from last summer may shed light on why the Eagles star looks favourably on a switch to N17.

The outlet claimed that both Tottenham and Man City expressed an interest in Eze 12 months ago, but Spurs held a crucial advantage over Pep Guardiola’s men at the time.

MORE SPURS STORIES

According to the report, the Greenwich-born attacker preferred a move to Tottenham over the Manchester club because of his family ties.

In fact, it is revealed that members of the 26-year-old’s family had even been invited as special guests at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the North London derby during the 2023-24 season.

While Eze remained put at Selhurst Park last summer, perhaps Spurs can now finally get their man as they embark on a new era.

Eze is also attracting interest from other Premier League clubs

It does not seem like Man City are offering competition for the Lilywhites in the race for the versatile attacker this time out.

However, over recent days, it has emerged that Man United, Newcastle, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Bayern Munich have also shown an interest in Eze.

It thus appears that Tottenham have plenty of work to do to clinch a deal for their long-term target.

Fabrizio Romano reveals good and bad news for Tottenham fans who want Eberechi Eze - Spurs Web
Description

Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that one Premier League star ranks very high on Tottenham’s summer wishlist, but the journalist has explained why a move for the player from the North Londoners is not inevitable.

We are now well into the summer transfer window but Tottenham Hotspur have only completed one signing so far, agreeing a deal with Bayern Munich for the permanent transfer of Mathys Tel.

It was claimed a few days ago by Alasdair Gold that we can expect Spurs to sign two or three more players before the start of pre-season.

The man who has been most heavily linked with a move to Tottenham over recent days is Eberechi Eze, who Spurs allegedly want to make their marquee signing of the summer.

It has even been revealed that Eze is keen on making a move to the North London club this summer, but it is not clear at the moment if the Crystal Palace star is indeed one of Spurs’ top targets.

Fabrizio Romano reveals Tottenham’s stance on Eberechi Eze

Over recent days, some journalists have said that Eze is just one of many attackers that Tottenham are monitoring.

In fact, Sky Sports have even claimed that Spurs have done more work on deals for Bryan Mbeumo and Antonie Semenyo than Eze.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Romano has now revealed what his sources are telling him about Tottenham’s pursuit of the England international.

The Italian journalist explained that while Tottenham are fans of the 26-year-old, they still have not decided whether to push ahead with an offer for him.

Romano told GiveMeSport: “Tottenham love Eze, he’s on the list for sure. But no final decision has been made yet.”

Spurs are facing plenty of competition for Eze

Earlier this week, TEAMtalk claimed that Tottenham are considering proposing a player plus cash offer for Eze, but the outlet did not reveal which of their players the Lilywhites are planning to offer to the Eagles.

The same report also revealed that Spurs are facing competition from Manchester United, Newcastle United, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Bayern Munich for the versatile attacker.

What makes the transfer pursuit even more complicated for Tottenham is that it was alleged that Palace are currently trying to tie down their star man to a new contract.

Kyle Walker-Peters’ transfer desire revealed after Tottenham make contact - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur face competition from two London rivals for Kyle Walker-Peters, but the Lilywhites are optimistic about their chances of re-signing the right-back after making contact with the player.

It was first reported by Alasdair Gold a few days ago that Spurs are eyeing a move to re-sign Walker-Peters, who is available on a free transfer after his contract at Southampton ran out.

While some Tottenham fans are not enthusiastic about the club’s interest in Walker-Peters, signing the England international will allow Spurs to address their shortage of homegrown and club-trained players.

The Lilywhites have now received a major boost in their efforts to bring the 28-year-old back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Kyle Walker-Peters is willing to return to Tottenham

GiveMeSport have now revealed that Walker-Peters has indicated a willingness to return to Tottenham, which comes as a major boost to Thomas Frank’s men.

The report says that his free agency and his vast experience in the Premier League have seen the right-back being earmarked as an intriguing option by key figures at Spurs.

The Tottenham academy graduate is seen as someone who can provide competition to the likes of Pedro Porro, Djed Spence and Destiny Udogie.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Spurs have already made enquiries about re-signing Walker-Peters and he has now shown an interest in joining Frank’s project at N17.

A return to Tottenham has thus emerged as a ‘serious possibility’ for the experienced full-back ahead of the start of the 2025-26 season.

Two London clubs offering Walker-Peters competition to Spurs

GiveMeSport say that West Ham, who had previously expressed an interest in the 28-year-old, have now pulled out of the race.

However, Tottenham still have to contend with competition from both Crystal Palace and Fulham, who remain keen on landing Walker-Peters.

Top five Tottenham summer signings of the last decade, including £11.5m Belgian gem

Top five Tottenham summer signings of the last decade, including £11.5m Belgian gem - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have not always succeeded in the transfer market, but some great players have been added to their squad over the years.

Here we take a look at Tottenham’s top five summer signings over the past decade:

Despite making his Tottenham debut after signing in January, Kulusevski counts as a summer signing, as he joined permanently in June. There is a reason Spurs cut short his 18-month loan in order to secure him on a five-year contract. The Sweden international adapted quickly to life at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, bagging seven assists in the months he spent on loan.

Kulusevski has had his ups and downs since, with some supporters questioning his ability to play on the right wing, due to his lack of pace on the ball. However, he was Ange Postecoglou’s best player in the first half of last season, having taken up a role as an attacking-minded midfielder.

It remains to be seen how Thomas Frank will use Kulusevski, but the 25-year-old will be hoping he can regain some form and keep his spot in the first team.

Romero is getting phone calls every day to lure him into a Spurs exit, with Diego Simeone eager to sign him for Atletico Madrid. However, Alasdair Gold has predicted Romero could remain at Spurs, as his hefty transfer fee could put clubs off making an acceptable offer.

We can only hope the World Cup-winning defender chooses to stay at Tottenham because he has been worth every penny since joining from Atalanta for £42.5m. He has been solid at the back with his aggressive defending and was even labelled as the best defender in the world by Lionel Messi.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Last season was far from easy for Romero, who experienced some injury struggles. Even when he was on the pitch, Spurs only kept two Premier League clean sheets. However, his time at Tottenham as a whole has been excellent and if he does leave this summer, he will be a difficult player to replace.

There is no one in football quite like Micky van de Ven. His athleticism and pace are perfect for a team which prefers an attacking style of football, because he can quickly track back to provide defensive cover. He is also an intelligent player, who knows how to beat an attacker.

Van de Ven was not cheap, joining Tottenham for around £43m including add-ons. However, he had never played in a UEFA club competition and only had two years of Bundesliga experience under his belt. The fact that he has been so good for Spurs, despite having a pretty bare CV on his arrival, is remarkable.

Let us not forget that his goal-line clearance was as important as Brennan Johnson’s goal in winning Tottenham the Europa League, so he has already done great things since arriving in North London.

The Dutchman’s style was well suited to Postecoglou’s philosophy, but he is so much more than just a speedy sprinter. He will continue to be an important player for Tottenham under Frank next season, regardless of how the new boss chooses to set up his team.

Another centre-back! Alderweireld only just manages to make the list, having joined Tottenham ten years ago. He was part of a Spurs defensive line that can only be described as sensational. Tottenham had a brilliant attack under Mauricio Pochettino, but the defence was just as good.

Alderweireld’s partnership with Jan Vertonghen was one of the best the Lane ever saw and Spurs kept 69 Premier League clean sheets when he was on the pitch. As the Belgian made 200 appearances, this means Tottenham did not concede a goal in 34.5 per cent of league matches he played.

Alderweireld is undoubtedly one of Tottenham’s greatest summer signings of all time, just behind one man.

The 2015 summer transfer window was magnificent, as Tottenham not only signed Alderweireld but also their future club captain. Son was not unheard of when he arrived at Hotspur Way, but no one was aware of just how good he would be.

The former Bayer Leverkusen forward has delivered year after year for Spurs, whether playing as a striker or on the left wing. His partnership with Harry Kane is statistically the best in Premier League history, and even without Tottenham’s record goalscorer by his side, Son has registered 28 goals and 19 assists in the past two seasons.

Son’s future at Spurs may be uncertain, but his legacy at the club has already been secured. Heung-min Son is a Tottenham Hotspur legend!

Description

Tottenham Hotspur have today officially launched their new away kit for the 2025/26 season.

The kit which is predominantly black in design with grey accents and was unveiled with the tagline “In Darkness We Dare”, a twist on our the club’s famous ‘To Dare is to Do’ motto, revealing a bold look to mark the return of Champions League away nights for the forthcoming season.

This is the first time in over 10 years that Tottenham will wear a black away shirt. The last time Tottenham’s away shirt was black was in the 2014-15 season.

A launch video campaign film features first-team players Dominic Solanke and Ella Morris “glitching” from our Hotspur Way training centre to an intense away ground under the lights.

The new white Tottenham 25/26 home kit was released earlier this month and featured the badge in the centre of the shirt.

Heung-min Son features in new away kit launch

Cameos from club captain Heung-Min Son, Jess Naz, Guglielmo Vicario and Djed Spence are also included as the film follows fans experiencing the away matchday energy.

The Tottenham badge features on the left side of the strip in white, while the Nike, Kraken and AIA branding is also in white.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Spurs signed their kit deal with Nike back in 2017 and extended it the following year to a 15-year contract which will last until at least 2033

The club confirmed that details on the third kit, training and express range launches will be communicated in due course.

The new away kit will be expected to be worn by the players during Tottenham’s pre-season campaign where fixtures are already lined up against the likes of Luton Town, Newcastle and Bayern Munich.

What should Tottenham do with 14 returning loan players – keep, loan or sell?

What should Tottenham do with 14 returning loan players – keep, loan or sell? - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have had a number of players out on loan over the past 12 months and now a decision must be made on their futures.

Tottenham have sent plenty of players on loan in the past couple of seasons to give them regular game time. However, even with increased experience, not every player has what it takes to make it at the reigning Europa League champions.

We will now take a look at each returning loanee and decide whether they should be kept, sold, or loaned out again ahead of next season:

Tottenham Hotspur’s 14 returning loan players: What next?

Alejo Veliz

Tottenham have rejected a loan offer for Veliz, with a permanent sale preferred. This is understandable, after he only scored one league goal in 27 La Liga appearances last season. However, he did score a hat-trick in a Copa Del Rey match against San Tirso.

Despite this, Veliz does not appear to be the clinical striker Spurs need. SELL

Alfie Devine

Alfie Devine has recently been linked with Sheffield United, but it would be a shame if he was sold without being given an opportunity in the Tottenham first-team squad. He has recently been on loan at Westerlo in Belgium, where he scored six goals in 30 league appearances.

The former Wigan Athletic youth player turns 21 in August and has already been on loan in League One, the Championship and abroad. Now is the right time to test him at Tottenham to see if he is good enough. If not, he can be sold next summer, but in the meantime, he would help make up Tottenham’s homegrown player numbers. KEEP

MORE SPURS STORIES

Alfie Dorrington

Even when Ange Postecoglou had no centre-backs available, he refused to start Dorrington. Since then, the youngster has gone on to become a Scottish Cup winner, although he did score an own goal in the final.

Despite Aberdeen’s cup success, their league form was a different story, and Dorrington was part of a defence which conceded a fair few goals. Dorrington’s lowest point was when he was sent off during a 5-1 home defeat to Celtic in May.

The 20-year-old should be handed a full-season loan spell, which could be in the Championship. However, if Aberdeen wanted him back, he would have the chance to play European football. LOAN

Ashley Phillips

Phillips made 39 appearances in all competitions for Stoke City last season. This was his second loan spell in the Championship, as he represented Plymouth Argyle the season before.

Keeping Phillips at Tottenham would likely have some benefits, but having both he and Luka Vuskovic at the club might not allow either player to have much game time. Spurs should look to give Phillips another loan, but this time with a team who have a shot at promotion, rather than one fighting relegation.

It’s time for Bryan Gil to leave Spurs

Bryan Gil

Gil’s stats from the past season sum him up perfectly. The Spaniard registered goals and three assists in 32 appearances. This is not terrible, but it is certainly not good enough to warrant him receiving another chance at Spurs. He has shown he is not physical enough to play in the Premier League and overall, he is just very average.

Gil arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after Tottenham paid more than £20m for him, as well as offering Sevilla Erik Lamela. This turned out to be a complete waste of money and selling him this summer is a must! SELL

George Abbott

Abbott was nominated for League Two Young Player of the Season after a positive season at Notts County. The midfielder scored six goals and collected seven assists in 45 appearances. As well as this, Abbott won the EFL goal of the season award.

Getting the 19-year-old a loan move higher up the football pyramid is the best move for his development at this moment in time. LOAN

Jamie Donley

Thomas Frank could welcome Donley into the Tottenham first-team after a successful loan spell at Leyton Orient, where he achieved eight goals and 10 assists in League One. Better still, Donley won the Leyton Orient player of the year award.

He could well be loaned out again, but it would be interesting to see Donley trusted to be given the chance to take a big step up. KEEP

Josh Keeley

Like Donley, Keeley had an impressive season at Leyton Orient. A loan move back to the O’s might have been the best option had they been promoted, but this was not the case after a play-off final defeat to Charlton Athletic.

Spurs should look to sort another loan deal for the Irish shot-stopper, but no lower than the Championship. He is certainly not yet ready to challenge for a spot in the first-team squad, as the goalkeeping position is highly congested. LOAN

Luca Gunter

The last thing Spurs need is another academy graduate who sits around for years without playing a single game. Alfie Whiteman is finally gone and while Brandon Austin was given a start last season, he is unlikely to feature in many matchday squads next season.

Spurs may wish to keep Gunter as a homegrown player, but he should be loaned out again to develop. His recent spell away from Tottenham was at Wealdstone in the National League, so he is never going to get a game if he stays in North London. Spurs should do what is best for their goalkeeper and loan him out again next season. LOAN

Luka Vuskovic needs Tottenham minutes

Luka Vuskovic

Thomas Frank wants to assess Luka Vuskovic before making a decision on his future. This seems sensible, as the giant centre-back has had a great season at Westerlo, where he scored seven goals in the Belgian Pro League – which is not bad for a defender!

Vuskovic is now part of the senior setup of the Croatia national team, a testament to his highly promising performances. Another loan move could be on the cards, but it would be good to see the 18-year-old get some minutes in the first team next season. KEEP

Manor Solomon

Solomon’s Tottenham career never got going and it is difficult to see why he was ever signed in the first place, considering he has not been given an opportunity to impress. Despite being linked with a move away from the club, Thomas Frank wants to give Solomon a chance in pre-season.

The 25-year-old had a good season on loan at Leeds United, bagging 22 goal contributions in the Championship. However, the Premier League is a different standard and Spurs already have Dejan Kulusevski and Brennan Johnson on the right and Mathys Tel and Heung-min Son on the left.

Cashing in on Solomon seems like the best decision, considering he could end up as Tottenham’s third-choice winger. SELL

Matthew Craig

Craig was on loan in League One last season, most recently for Mansfield Town. He is out of contract next summer and recently turned 22 years old. His future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium looks to be limited. SELL

Will Lankshear

Lankshear stole the headlines when he scored against Galatasaray on his first senior start in the Europa League, only to be sent off later in the game. Since then, he has not scored a single goal, including during his short-term loan spell at West Brom.

The 20-year-old only made 11 appearances for the Baggies and should be given a full season in the Championship. LOAN

Yang Min-Hyeok

Spurs supporters will want to see what Yang is capable of, as it has already been a year since Tottenham paid a Korean record fee to sign him.

However, he is still only 18 and did not do anything notable enough at QPR in the past few months which justifies putting him in the first-team. Another loan move is the best option for Yang at this point in time. LOAN

Tottenham give ‘green light’ for Richarlison to join Champions League club - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly signalled their willingness to sell Richarlison after a Champions League club expressed an interest in signing the Spurs striker.

Richarlison was a surprise starter in the Europa League final, given the nod over captain Heung-min Son in Bilbao by Ange Postecoglou, and that might well prove to be the Brazilian’s final game in the Lilywhite shirt.

Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed at the start of this month that Richarlison wants to leave Tottenham in search of regular game time this summer.

According to reports, Thomas Frank’s arrival has not changed Spurs’ stance on Richarlison, with the 28-year-old allegedly not in the Dane’s plans for next season.

Tottenham approve move to Galatasaray for Richarlison

It has now been reported by Posta that Galatasaray have stepped forward to express their intention to sign the Spurs man.

The outlet claims that the Turkish club are currently attempting to retain Victor Osimhen after the Nigerian’s loan spell at Istanbul came to an end.

If they are unable to land Osimhen, Gala are expected to press ahead with a move for the former Everton man.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The report says that Tottenham have given the ‘green light’ for Richarlison to head to the Yellow-Reds, with the North Londoners willing to sanction a loan deal or a permanent sale.

Galatasaray could face competition for Richarlison from rivals

Posta say that Gala are expecting their local rivals Fenerbahce to potentially offer competition in the race for the 28-year-old’s signature.

The outlet does not say how much either club would be willing to offer Tottenham for the centre-forward, but this is not the first time the player has been linked with Jose Mourinho’s side.

Tottenham want to squeeze £11m out of Manchester United owners INEOS

Tottenham want to squeeze £11m out of Manchester United owners INEOS - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are demanding significant compensation from the owners of Manchester United, INEOS, after Daniel Levy decided to take them to court over a contract dispute.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS, who owns a minority stake in Man United, agreed a multimillion-pound, five-year deal with Spurs in December 2022.

The deal saw INEOS Grenadier car become Tottenham Hotspur’s ‘official 4×4 vehicle partner’, but after the company ran into some financial trouble, INEOS decided to end the sponsorship agreement with Spurs two years before the deal was due to run out.

Earlier this month, Spurs took High Court legal action against INEOS, with the North London side lodging a claim against the company in a commercial listing under “general commercial contracts and arrangements”.

Tottenham are demanding £11m compensation from INEOS

Legal publication The Lawyer have now claimed that Spurs are seeking as much as £11m from INEOS Automotive for reneging on the contract two years before it ran out.

However, the multinational firm are insisting that they were within their right to terminate the deal, with a clause in the contract allowing them to do.

Football.London have relayed this information and they reveal that their own sources have also confirmed the £11m figure being reported.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The outlet says that they reached out to Tottenham about the issue but the club refused to comment, stating that they do not comment on live legal matters.

INEOS and Tottenham could reach a settlement

Last week, Football Insider claimed that Spurs are likely to reach a settlement with the multinational conglomerate out of court.

The publication explained that these kinds of disputes are common in business, and they usually end with the parties settling on a compensation.

Meanwhile, Football.London point out there is a precedent for reaching an out-of-court settlement, revealing that INEOS reached an agreement with New Zealand Rugby after they were threatened with legal action for a similar issue of leaving a partnership early.

How Thomas Frank could makes Mathys Tel his next prolific winger at Tottenham

How Thomas Frank could makes Mathys Tel his next prolific winger at Tottenham - Spurs Web
Description

Mathys Tel has made a permanent switch from Bayern Munich to Tottenham Hotspur and Thomas Frank has made clear his intentions for the forward.

The former Bayern Munich man is the latest addition to the Tottenham first-team squad, as Spurs made Tel’s move permanent, despite an underwhelming loan spell.

The France U21 international has so far only registered three goals and two assists for Tottenham. However, he has only made 20 appearances, and not all of those were starts.

With a new manager in place and a fresh start, the pieces are being placed together to help Tel thrive next season.

Thomas Frank reveals his plans for Mathys Tel at Tottenham

Thomas Frank has already addressed Tel’s move to Spurs and he has set his sights on getting the most out of the winger, who could also play up front.

He said: “Very, very excited about Mathys Tel signing with a permanent deal. I think he’s a very talented player that can play across the front four positions.

“He’s a goalscorer that we can develop even further to be more consistent in his all-round game but also to more consistently land in the right positions in the box. So I’m looking forward to it.”

MORE SPURS STORIES

It is thought that Frank will help improve Tel, because he will be given more freedom than he experienced under Ange Postecoglou. Tel will be allowed to use his energy to cut inside from the wing, or operate in a front two.

How Frank used his wingers at Brentford

Getting the ball to the wingers in space was a key part of Frank’s strategy at Brentford. It was important for his wide men to arrive in the final third with pace and athleticism, something well suited to Mathys Tel’s game.

Offering a goal-scoring threat was an additional aspect of Frank’s winger. Bryan Mbeumo and Kevin Schade played on the flanks last season and scored a combined total of 31 Premier League goals.

Tel’s record in front of goal is nothing special. However, as a player capable of playing as a winger or a striker, becoming more of a threat could be worked into his game once he gets a more consistent run of starts.

The fact that Frank has already outlined what he wants to do to help Tel improve is a huge positive. He has already shown how good he is at getting the best out of his attacking players in his previous role and hopefully, this will continue during his time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Chris Waddle says England star is a better fit for Tottenham than Newcastle

Chris Waddle says England star is a better fit for Tottenham than Newcastle - Spurs Web
Description

With Newcastle also in the conversation to sign Eberechi Eze, ex-Tottenham winger Chris Waddle has made his thoughts very clear on where the Crystal Palace man would fit best.

Once again, in yet another transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be ‘monitoring’ Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.

The Palace man, who has two years left on his current deal at Selhurst Park, is said to have a £68 million release clause that is set to become active in this summer’s window.

With the likelihood of Eze leaving the South Coast on a free in 2027, should he not extend his contract with Palace or seal a big move this summer, this transfer window is a crucial one for all parties involved.

Chris Waddle believes Eberechi Eze suits Tottenham more than Newcastle

Spurs fans have begged Daniel Levy to get the Eze deal done, after it emerged that Tottenham could pay Eze’s release clause in instalments over three years.

It has also been claimed that Tottenham are not the only side monitoring the 26-year-old, as other clubs remain interested.

Chris Waddle, a former Tottenham man speaking to OLBG, has now labelled Eze a top player and a better fit for Spurs rather than Newcastle.

MORE SPURS STORIES

According to the former England international, Eze is in the top three of technical players in the Premier League, and he is one who could light up the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium under Thomas Frank.

He said: “Eberechi Eze is a top player. I remember watching him at QPR. He had a lot of talent then, but did not seem to be able to put the consistency with it. I think with Crystal Palace, he has found his place.

“In his number 10 role, he has got the position he wants. He has got the freedom to express himself. He has got the responsibility, which he has taken on board.

“You have got to say he is one of the best footballers in the Premier League at the minute. Technically in the top three and he is playing the top of his game.

“I could see him playing at Spurs. I think Spurs could fit him there. I think Newcastle already have their midfield three and three good wingers, I think Newcastle’s priority probably will be a number nine back-up to Alexander Isak, rather than Eze.

“I think Eze is a great player and I would love to see him at Spurs under Thomas Frank. I think Spurs missed out on Matheus Cunha, who would have been a fantastic signing, but Eze can come in and take responsibility and stamp authority on the club.

“He will go in with a lot of confidence and be a hit, I think he would be a better fit at Spurs than he would at Newcastle.”

Eberechi Eze open to Spurs move as Thomas Frank eyes marquee signing

It has since been revealed that Eze is open to a move to Tottenham this summer, as he is keen to play Champions League football.

It is also claimed that the Palace man is looking to spearhead the Thomas Frank rebuild at Spurs, which, of course, serves as a boost to Tottenham, who are reported to be eyeing a marquee signing.

Spurs are set to miss out on Bryan Mbeumo, and neither are Tottenham eager to meet Bournemouth’s valuation of Antoine Semenyo.
