Description

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Bournemouth star Illya Zabarnyi.

The 22-year-old central defender is a target for PSG as well. However, they have not been able to secure an agreement with the English club yet. Tottenham are hoping to get the deal done, and they are ready to pay the asking price in full, as per RMC Sport.

Spurs want to pay €70 million

Bournemouth want €70 million for the Ukrainian International defender. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Tottenham need to tighten up at the back, and signing the 22-year-old could prove to be a wise decision.

He has been described as a “great player” in the past, and there is no doubt that he has the qualities to succeed at Tottenham. He is young enough to improve further, and he could develop into a key player for the club.

Bournemouth have already lost Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez this summer. It seems that the defensive unit could be ravaged by the end of the transfer window.

Illya Zabarnyi wants to join PSG

Meanwhile, it is no surprise that the defender is keen on a move to PSG. They won the league title and the UEFA Champions League last season. Any player will be attracted to the idea of playing for them.

If they agree to pay the asking price for the defender, Tottenham are likely to miss out on the defender. Zabarnyi has already agreed on personal terms with the French club. He is just waiting for the clubs to agree on a fee now.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham try to convince the defender to join them instead. Signing the 22-year-old would be a coup for them. He is a reliable performer in the Premier League, and he could significantly improve Spurs.

Report: Tottenham make enquiry for 23-year-old “warrior”, receive response - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs interested in signing Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen.

The Ecuadorian International has done quite well in the Bundesliga, and his performances have attracted the attention of Premier League clubs. Tottenham have enquired to sign the player, but a report from TBR football claims that the German outfit are unwilling to sanction his departure.

Can Spurs get the deal done?

The player has a £52.5 million release clause in his contract, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to come forward and pay up. If they decide to trigger his release clause, the German club will be powerless to stop him from leaving.

The 23-year-old could prove to be an excellent addition. He is capable of operating as a central defender as well as a left back. His versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham. They need defensive enforcement, and the South American certainly fits the profile. He is young enough to improve further, and he could develop into a top-class performer for the London club.

Hincapie has been described as a “warrior” by his agent in the past.

Tottenham could use Piero Hincapie

Tottenham will look to fight for trophies next season, and they need to tighten up at the back. The 23-year-old could help them improve at both ends of the pitch. Apart from his defensive qualities, he is calm and composed on the ball, and his distribution will help him build from the back.

The opportunity to play in the Premier League can be quite exciting for most players, and it will be interesting to see if the 23-year-old is tempted if Tottenham come calling. Leverkusen have lost Jonathan Tah and Jeremie Frimpong earlier this summer, and they do not want to lose another key defender.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Report: Tottenham eyeing up move for “one of the finest technicians of his generation” - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in the Leicester City midfielder Bilal El Khannouss.

According to TBR football, they are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old midfielder, and they could look to make a move for him during the summer window. Ange Postcoglou was keen on the player as well.

El Khannouss set for a big move?

The technically gifted midfielder will be tempted to move to Tottenham if they come forward with an offer to sign him. The foxes have been relegated to the championship, and the young midfielder will be tempted to return to the Premier League. Tottenham could provide him with the platform to showcase his qualities at a high level.

He has the technical attributes to play for a big club, and it remains to be seen where he ends up. Newcastle United, Arsenal and Leeds United are monitoring his situation as well.

Graeme Bailey claimed on TBR: “El Khannouss is a fascinating player – very similar to Rayan Cherki in terms of talent. Many clubs rate him as one of the finest technicians of his generation.”

Tottenham could use Bilal El Khannouss

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can finalise the deal. They need more cutting-edge and technical ability in the final third, and the 21-year-old would be a solid long-term acquisition. He is capable of slotting anywhere in the final third, and he will help create opportunities for his teammates.

Tottenham managed to win the UEFA Europa League season, but they were disappointing in the Premier League. They will look to bounce back strongly in the league next season, and they need quality signings.

James Maddison has faced criticism for his inconsistencies, and having another creator would be ideal. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can sign the Leicester City midfielder. He is young enough to improve further, and Spurs could nurture him into a future star.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Manchester City midfielder, Jack Grealish.

The 30-year-old needs to leave Manchester City in order to play regularly, and Tottenham could be the ideal destination. According to GMS, the players, representatives are waiting to find out if Tottenham will make their move for the player.

The report further claims that Grealish is interested in a move to London this summer.

Tottenham need Jack Grealish

Tottenham could use a versatile midfielder like him, and he would be a useful acquisition.

Grealish is capable of operating centrally as well as on the flanks. He will help create opportunities for his teammates in the final third and open up deep defences with his creativity, vision, and flair.

The midfielder has been labelled as a “fighter” by Pep Guardiola. He has shown his qualities in the Premier League over the years, and if he manages to get back to his best, he could be an asset for Tottenham.

He was regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League during his time at Aston Villa. However, the lack of gametime at Manchester City has stalled his development. He will look to regain his peak form in the coming months if he manages to join Tottenham.

Spurs move could be ideal for Grealish

Grealish will be desperate to get his career back on track, and he needs a fresh start. Tottenham will be able to offer him Champions League football, and they have an ambitious project. They are likely to be an attractive destination for the player.

Talks held with Euro giants: Spurs ready to offer £45m for “fantastic” target this summer - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are now interested in signing the Portuguese international midfielder Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old has not been able to showcase his true qualities at the German club, and the return to the Premier League could be ideal for him. He was outstanding for Fulham during his time in English football, and he could be a key player for Tottenham as well.

According to journalist Sebastien Vidal, they have already held talks with Bayern Munich regarding a potential move for the midfielder, and they are preparing a £45 million offer to sign him.

Tottenham need Joao Palhinha

Tottenham need more depth and quality in the middle of the park, and the 30-year-old could be the ideal acquisition. He is at the peak of his career, and he will look to get back to his best once again. The opportunity to join a club in the Champions League could be exciting for Palhinha.

Although there is no doubt that Bayern Munich have a more exciting project and a better team at their disposal, the material needs to play regularly, and moving to Spurs could be ideal for him.

It will be interesting to see if the German champions are willing to accept the £45 million offer when it is presented.

The midfielder is highly rated across Europe, and former Tottenham striker Harry Kane has previously labelled him as a “fantastic” player.

Palhinha to replace Bissouma?

Tottenham need someone who will help them dominate midfield contests. The Portuguese international will not only add physicality in the middle of the park, but he will also shield the defensive unit and help Tottenham tighten up at the back.

With Yves Bissouma likely on his way out, the Portuguese international could be the ideal replacement.

Report: Tottenham could turn attention towards £50 million-rated Premier League ace now - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their midfield unit this summer, and they could move for the Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott.

The 22-year-old is highly rated in the Premier League, and he could develop into an important player for Tottenham if they manage to sign him. They have recently missed out on the signing of Morgan Gibbs White from Nottingham Forest, and they are looking at alternatives.

Graeme Bailey told TBR Football: “Gibbs-White was disappointing to them as we know, but there are going to be no knee-jerk reactions. They have done work on a lot of players, they have several options they like.”

Spurs keen on Harvey Elliott

The Liverpool player is one of the names on their shortlist. He is valued at £50 million and Tottenham have been monitoring him closely. It will be interesting to see if they are willing to pay the asking price for him.

Elliott is capable of operating centrally as well as on the flanks. He will add goals and creativity to the side. He needs to join a club where he will play regularly, and Tottenham might be able to provide him with that platform.

Even though the asking price is quite expensive, the player has the potential to justify the investment in future.

Elliott needs to play more often

The 22-year-old is not a regular starter for Liverpool. Even though he is a boyhood Liverpool fan, he should look to focus on his development for now and leave the club. If he manages to fulfil his potential, he will have plenty of opportunities to play for elite clubs in future. Sitting on the bench at Liverpool will be detrimental to his development.

There is no doubt that he is a phenomenal young player with a bright future. Tottenham would do well to secure his signature.

Elliott was outstanding for England under-21 in the recently concluded European Championships, and he helped them win the tournament. He has the quality to start for top clubs in the Premier League as well.

Tottenham want to replace key star with January target, who is available at a £30m discount - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.

According to TBR Football, they are looking at the Manchester United attack as a potential replacement for South Korean international Son Heung-min.

Alejandro Garnacho to replace Son?

Son has been linked with the move away from Tottenham in recent weeks, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. Clubs from the MLS and Saudi Arabia are keen on securing his signature. He has been an exceptional performer for Tottenham over the years, and they need to replace him adequately. Signing the 21-year-old South American could prove to be a wise decision.

He is not a regular starter for Manchester United, and he will look to leave the club in search of regular playing time. The move to Tottenham could be ideal for him. Furthermore, he is an elite talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a top-class performer for Tottenham with the right guidance.

Regular football at the London club could help him fulfil his potential.

Garnacho is available at a discount

The report claims that Tottenham have been keeping track of the player since January, and they were quoted £70 million for the attacker during the winter transfer window. However, Manchester United are prepared to sell him for just £40 million this summer.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can finalise the deal. Garnacho has the attributes to develop into a quality player for them, and he could easily justify the £40 million investment in future.

He is capable of operating on either flank, and he will add goals and creativity to the side. The opportunity to join a Champions League-level club will be quite exciting for the player, especially if Spurs can offer him regular playing time.

He will certainly hope that the two clubs can work out an agreement quickly.

‘You sign a five-year contract, don’t you?’ Pundit lets rip on Spurs transfer shennigans - The Boy Hotspur
Description

The transfer that never happened

Our summer transfer activity already has fans losing their minds, and as if to test our patience further, Thomas Frank in Hong Kong was sat there giving us the old ‘still looking‘ line, which, quite frankly, isn’t good enough for a club that claimed to have ambitions to win the Premier League as well as the Champions League.

Unless Spurs pull a Gareth Bale-type deal out of the hat, the biggest transfer story surrounding this club, which really ought to ditch the pejorative ‘Spursy’ tag, is the story of the one that got away, Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White.

Whilst most responses to the saga involved the rolling of eyes, one man has stepped out and certainly said what I was thinking.

The enhanced deal that never was

The player was rolled out in Portugal, where Evangelos Marinakis cooed over the boy, telling us he was a legend and needed to be treated appropriately, by the club. It all felt rather underwhelming for a player who had a medical booked at Tottenham, a player whose owner had previously seething that an asset was about to be lost to a rival. talkSPORT’s Gabby Agbonlahor simply isn’t matching up the sentiments expressed by the Greek and the actions.

“It was bizarre. I think it just seems a bit, the reason behind it, the release clause was leaked. I don’t understand it. If there is a release clause in a contract and then the player wants to go, I’m just baffled by it. I’m not being funny, but if you want to stay at a football club, you don’t sign a three-year contract, do you? You sign a five-year contract, don’t you? More. So that says to me that this time next year, he will probably be gone. I don’t see him there for the long term.”

Tottenham and Forest left looking like fools

It has to be said that the whole thing stinks to high heaven, and one wonders what went on behind closed doors. Was there just a very greedy agent turning the cogs in the background? A player who wants to stay at a club that doesn’t want to lose him hardly displays this mutual adoration with a one-year extension. If anything, this looks to be a very cautious way of proceeding between two parties who don’t really trust each other.

Forest fans will be relieved, but what value does Gibbs-White’s word have after this episode? Maybe the modern footballer doesn’t have to think that far ahead.

Arsenal transfer exclusive Eberechi Eze Tottenham

Exclusive: Arsenal primed to cut an enhanced deal suiting all parties for Tottenham transfer target - The Boy Hotspur
Description

A deal dogged by financial demands

One of the most talked-about transfers of the summer window has to be that of the signing of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. The player turned heads in the English top-flight, with stand-out performances and lifting domestic silverware.

The 27-year-old English midfielder has a £60 million release clause in his contract, plus an additional £8 million in add-ons, which has become the most talked-about factor in the financial side of the deal.

We brought you the news recently that Spurs had been keen enough to offer the £60 million across three payments. This does not include any bonus payments, but does protect Palace’s locked-in core valuation.

New information makes for infuriating reading

According to TheBoyHotspur, Arsenal have now entered the conversation and are prepared to pay £30 million up front, and the remainder would be paid over the next two years. The clubs are still said to be finalising the specifics of the payment structure.

Key differences with the Spurs offer is that Arsenal are not thought to be rushing the process and prefer to wait until Crystal Palace finds a replacement for Eze. Additionally, the Gunners also plan to offer Reiss Nelson as part of a player-plus-cash deal. Should Palace accept, the transfer is expected to go through quickly.

Arsenal want to bring in Eze as cover for Martin Odegaard and to add competition on the left wing for Gabriel Martinelli. The Arsenal appear to have a clear strategy to get back to winning ways.

There has also been talk of Chelsea, which it is believed would pay the full release clause directly. Liverpool are also in the mix, as they look to strengthen their attack amid uncertainty surrounding Luis Diaz’s future.

Tottenham, on the other hand, it is suggested, has reportedly shifted its focus to other targets, which rather sums us up at this exact moment in time. What was the point of Levy being recorded in an interview, waffling on about ambition to win the Premier League and the Champions League, when basic deals such as this one are so beset with difficulties?

Of course, nothing at this stage is finalised, but it certainly sounds as if one side in North London is preparing to succeed next term.

Spurs transfers 'Rodrygo to Tottenham' from Real Madrid

‘Rodrygo to Tottenham’ may well be wishful thinking from a side that doesn’t know what it’s doing [opinion] - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Our transfer window is suddenly looking like an outtake from The Life of Brian, with people sporadically pointing and shouting ‘He’s the Messiah!’ as they chase another unwitting stooge whilst wearing ‘Rodrygo to Tottenham’ t-shirts.

The latest one who appears to have stepped forward, although it feels more as if he’s stepped backwards, is Rodrygo Goes.

‘Who is he?’ they cried, upon hearing him described as a Real Madrid superstar, as per CaughtOffside.

The truth is, this is a one-time star player at Craven Cottage, who went to Spain and then kinda flat-lined. Blue on the radar is last season, and pink is the season before. Like the wicked Witch of the West said, ‘Help me, I’m melting!’

Now, the plan, we are told, is for ‘Rodrygo to Tottenham’ to happen, to prop up our left wing, which has been underperforming in recent seasons due to Sonny’s similarly declining career.

The Boot Room website is running with this fascinating quote:

Talks have been intermediaries, and it has been revealed through the 24-year-old’s representatives that he would welcome a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Will we see more of this language? After the Gibb’s-White fiasco, I believe we may. It’s wishy-washy and, frankly, the source is poor.

What might Rodrygo bring to Tottenham?

Aged 24, Los Blancos paid £40 million for the lad in 2019, and after several good seasons, notably 2022 to 2024, the value is beginning to decline.

How much would the Spanish want, and at what point does Levy say, ‘Too much’, and put the phone down?

Looking at the radar for THFC, one can see where the deficiencies have been, and one has to say that employment of tactics should vastly improve us, but it seems ambitious to believe that this returning hero is the answer.

Does this transfer rumour have any genuine substance to it?

I use AI sparingly as I am trying to keep my brain ticking over, but this might be of interest from Grok.

There is no definitive evidence that Real Madrid’s Rodrygo Goes is transferring to Tottenham Hotspur, despite some speculation. Rodrygo is reportedly seeking clarity on his role at Real Madrid and prefers a starting spot on the left wing, which may not be guaranteed with players like Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe in the squad.

This may also explain his mild decline and reduction in games played by approximately 25%.

To me, this simply looks like another transfer rumour designed, by hook or by crook, to fill a void.
