Tottenham are preparing an official offer to sign a new forward in the summer transfer window.

It's been an incredibly busy summer transfer window for Spurs as they look to strengthen in a host of different positions.

Mateus Fernandes, Jan-Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Martin Dubravka are all confirmed additions for Tottenham so far.

Spurs are also close to confirming a deal to sign Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali for a fee in the region of £100m, with a deal now agreed.

Tottenham don't appear to be stopping there, though, as they look to move on to strengthening their forward line after reinforcing their defence and midfield.

It's already been a hectic window for Tottenham, but it looks like that's going to continue.

Tottenham Readying Official Offer

According to a report from Caught Offside, Tottenham are now preparing an official offer to sign Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush in the summer transfer window.

Man City are demanding a fee in the region of £51m to allow him to depart, while Spurs will face competition from the likes of Juventus, Barcelona, and Aston Villa.

The report claims that Marmoush, described as 'world-class', currently earns in the region of £165,000 a week at City, and he could be keen on a departure after struggling to become a guaranteed starter.

It will be interesting to see if Marmoush's situation changes in the coming months with Pep Guardiola leaving and being replaced by Enzo Maresca.

Tottenham aren't slowing down

Tottenham are showing no signs of slowing down in the transfer market as they continue their big spending.

Spurs have already significantly strengthened at the back, bringing in three new defenders, while they have confirmed the signing of a new midfielder, with Tonali also on the way.

Spurs are looking to do their business quickly, securing five confirmed signings by the start of July, but there's every chance they continue bringing in reinforcements.

After finishing 17th in the Premier League two years on the bounce, Tottenham clearly don't want a repeat of that. They're doing everything they can to push into the top half of the table.
