Description

Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle says he is ready to replace Igor Tudor and co-manage the club alongside another former Spurs star.

The crisis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium deepened after they were beaten 3-1 by Crystal Palace on Thursday night, leaving them one point above the Premier League relegation zone having played the same number of games as the two teams below them, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United.

The north London outfit took the lead through Dominic Solanke in a positive start to the match for Tudor's men, but the game turned just minutes later when Micky van de Ven gave away a penalty and was sent off for bringing Ismaila Sarr down in the area.

Sarr duly converted the spot-kick and Spurs then collapsed in the following 10 minutes as goals from Jorgen Strand Larsen and a second for Sarr effectively ended the contest against 10 men.

Tudor has started his Tottenham reign with three straight defeats and the pressure is growing on the Croat.

Hoddle Willing to Take up Tottenham Role

Tottenham need someone on the coaching side of things that can unite a club that has a huge disconnect between every facet of the club and is falling apart.

While the likes of Tim Sherwood and Harry Redknapp have put themselves forward for the job, Hoddle is maybe more well-placed than either of those to really change the atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The 61-year-old is a massive club legend and made just shy of 500 appearances for the north Londoners, scoring more than 100 goals.

He has confirmed again on the 'Could it be Magic' FA Cup podcast that Tottenham are 'his club' and while he wouldn't want to be the main man in the dugout, he is happy to share responsibilities with someone like Robbie Keane.

When asked if he would return to Tottenham, he said: “I think I would, actually. Particularly with Tottenham, as that’s my club.

“I’ve supported them since I was eight years of age. So they were a massive part of my life."

He then backed Keane and said he'd be willing to work in tandem with the 45-year-old to help Tottenham.

“Robbie’s doing great as a young manager. So to have a steady springboard and someone experienced like myself would be a good formula, in many ways.

“I think it’d be a shrewd move to have somebody, whether it was me or somebody experienced with him."

Keane is a 'Dark Horse' to Replace Tudor

GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs revealed this week that Keane is a 'dark horse' for the Tottenham job in the summer, although the two main favourites for the job are former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and the currently-available Roberto De Zerbi.

Keane was also linked with replacing Thomas Frank following his sacking last month, although it was suggested at the time he wanted a longer-term agreement than the one Tudor signed at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Republic of Ireland icon has impressed during his current reign in Hungary with Ferencvaros, who are the reigning champions and are aiming for a second successive title win, as they currently lie three points adrift of leaders Eto Gyor.

Whether he would be willing to take the job from now until the end of the season, if Tudor does leave, remains to be seen, but there are no shortage of Tottenham legends ready to save the club.

Ian Wright Explains Why He Doesn't Want Spurs to Get Relegated

Description

Now deep into the 2025/26 Premier League season, Tottenham Hotspur remarkably still look as though they could get relegated. With nine games to play, they sit just one point above the relegation zone, with confidence at an all-time low after three losses on the bounce under Igor Tudor.

Despite winning the Europa League under Ange Postecoglou last term, Spurs finished 17th, and this meant the Australian was sacked. Thomas Frank came in but endured a terrible time in north London, as he was fired in February. As such, Tudor has now arrived until the end of the season with the main goal being to keep Tottenham up.

At the other end of the table, bitter rivals Arsenal currently sit at the top of the division, seven points ahead of Manchester City. The idea of winning the Premier League while seeing Spurs relegated would be the sweetest of concepts to most fans, but one Gunners legend has claimed he hopes it doesn't happen.

Ian Wright: 'I've Never Had a Hatred of Tottenham'

Ian Wright is one of the greatest Arsenal players of all time, scoring a former record 185 goals for the club, while lifting the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, and European Cup Winners' Cup during his time in north London. With all that in mind, you'd expect him not to feel too fond of Tottenham.

In a recent interview, however, the iconic English striker explained why he's always had a soft spot for Sours. Speaking on The Overlap podcast, via Goal he said:

"People talk about Tottenham going down this season, there's a chance. I wouldn't want to see Tottenham go down. In this moment right now, I watched them the other day, absolutely they could. But I wouldn't like to see it. I've never had a hatred of Tottenham. When I was younger, I was always Glenn Hoddle. I loved Glenn Hoddle and I still do."

While Wright never played for Tottenham, of course, he did play for Glenn Hoddle on 13 occasions. All of these came for England during the late 90s, with the Arsenal legend picking up four goals and three assists for the Three Lions in that period under Hoddle. In total, he scored nine times in 33 games at international level.

Wright Expresses Concern Over Spurs Ownership

While he had many critics, Daniel Levy's exit after 25 years as Tottenham chairman leaves plenty of question marks for the club. Wright spoke about this as he argued that the departure has now exposed deeper issues regarding the Lewis family's stewardship.

He said: "Now that Daniel Levy's gone, they can't blame him. It's the Lewis family. They've got to change the ownership. You need an owner who can come in who's got that [Roman] Abramovich energy. He wants to win on the pitch and Tottenham have got everything in place."

Jamie O'Hara Urges Tottenham to Sack Igor Tudor and Hire 60-Year-Old Manager

Tottenham suffered yet another defeat, making it three losses from three for Igor Tudor, and former midfielder Jamie O'Hara didn't hold back with his assessment on the situation.

Spurs were beaten at home to Arsenal in Tudor's first game in charge since he was brought in to replace Thomas Frank. They failed to bounce back in the following game, as they suffered a 2-1 away defeat against Fulham.

Crystal Palace at home was an opportunity for them to bounce back, but a red card to Micky van de Ven in the first half gave them a mountain to climb. The Eagles cruised to a 3-1 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which was looking a lot emptier than at the start of the game.

Jamie O'Hara Wants Tottenham to Hire Former Manager

Speaking live on talkSPORT, former Spurs midfielder O'Hara has said he would take Postecoglou back at Tottenham right now after demanding that Tudor is sacked.

"I'd take big Ange, I would. I would actually take big Ange, it's got to that point."

O'Hara didn't hold back with his assessment on Spurs' current situation throughout the show, also suggesting that Tottenham need to sack Tudor immediately.

It would certainly be a controversial decision to bring Postecoglou back to the club, considering he was sacked less than a year ago.

There are certain Tottenham fans who would likely welcome it, due to him delivering a trophy to the club, but there's no doubt his side underperformed in the Premier League last season, and it would be a huge risk for him to return to north London.

Tottenham Need Fans Back Onside ASAP

Tottenham fans were seen walking out of the stadium before the half-time whistle was even blown against Palace, and they don't seem to have the energy for this relegation battle.

It was another dismal display, and Spurs are yet to win in 2026, sleepwalking to relegation.

The results on Wednesday that saw Nottingham Forest draw away at Manchester City and West Ham beating Fulham will have sucked the life out of many Tottenham fans, and it may have even had an impact on the players when it comes to the pressure on them.

Tottenham need the fans back onside, and that might mean making another change in the dugout.

Tottenham Must Hire Club Legend Before It's Too Late

Rumours abound that Igor Tudor could be sacked by Tottenham Hotspur if they fail to beat Crystal Palace on Thursday night.

It is a dire situation that Spurs find themselves in at the bottom of the Premier League table. Wednesday night's results leave the Lilywhites just one point above the bottom three with ten games of the season to go.

Thursday night's clash is their game in hand, having seen everyone else play on Tuesday and Wednesday. Defeat at home to the Eagles does not bear thinking about, but given Spurs' form, it is the only thing you can really think.

Igor Tudor Is Under Immense Pressure Just Two Games In

Tottenham are winless in 2026. Ten matches have passed since the turn of the year and Spurs have drawn four and lost six of them.

Thomas Frank was sacked in February, with a home defeat to Newcastle United the last straw.

Tudor has come in and overseen two matches and is already under threat of losing his job. After two matches!

Given what we've seen in those two matches, it would not be the worst call. You're supposed to have a honeymoon period when a new manager comes in. He's supposed to revitalise the squad, get them back on track and singing from the same hymn sheet. Tudor has failed to do any of those things and Tottenham under the Croatian looks little different to Tottenham under Frank.

There is still no clear style or pattern of play on display. There's a real fragility from back to front, with no defensive solidity, no apparent interest from the players to show for the ball and no threat in an attacking sense.

Tottenham Hotspur Are A Mess From Top To Bottom

There is no getting away from it, the situation at Spurs right now is a shambles.

There needs to be wholesale changes in the summer - not just on the playing side, but behind the scenes too. The long-suffering supporters do not deserve this. What league the club will be in by then is a real concern.

To sack Tudor and move on to a third head coach in one season would show a distinct lack of leadership and direction from the Tottenham hierarchy. Do they actually know what they are doing? Is there a legitimate plan in place, because sacking the firefighter after three matches proves he was not the right man to come in and the process behind bringing him to the club needs to be called into question.

Tudor was supposed to save the club from the ignominy of relegation. If he fails to win against Palace and is relieved of his duties, Spurs will need to find a new willing - good luck with that - candidate to see that job through.

The head coach job in N17 was always seen as something of a poisoned chalice. With the current state the club is in, what can you call it now? Has the Spurs manager role become a Trojan horse? Are there any positives to come out of taking the job?

Saving the club from relegation will be a huge plus for whoever comes in to do it, but it will be tempered with the fact that they should never, ever have found themselves in this position in the first place.

Robbie Keane will not leave his job as Ferencvaros boss just to save Tottenham, he will want a longer-term commitment than being an interim head coach, but he is exactly the sort of person Spurs must turn to.

Tottenham Need Only One Thing If They Replace Igor Tudor

Any suggestion of wanting to see free-flowing, attacking football is gone. It's all about results, that's all that matters right now. Ryan Mason coming back, Jurgen Klinsmann being brought in, Jermain Defoe being handed the reins of his first coaching role, even club legend Ledley King stepping up into a head coach role for the first time ever - anyone who knows the club, loves the club and understands what it means to play for the shirt, fight for the fans and get the team out of the mire is what's required.

Mason would be the obvious choice, given he's done it before and has experience in the dugout away from Spurs too with West Bromwich Albion this season. Klinsmann has a wealth of management experience and has said before that the club is "in my heart". The German even called then chairman Daniel Levy in 2021 after Jose Mourinho was sacked.

He said: "I called him after he let Mourinho go and said 'Daniel what's the case now?' and he said 'listen I have so much to do, sorting things out at the club, let's talk later on' and then I saw all the names walking in and talking and walking out. Spurs is in my heart, absolutely I would consider that, yes."

"Tottenham is Tottenham and you would always listen to that situation, but for me Tottenham is a lot more."

Someone needs to take the players by the scruff of the neck, scream in their faces to sort it out and just go out and show some fight and I think the only person who can do that is someone like the names mentioned above who really care about Spurs as much as the supporters do.

Robbie Keane is 'Dark Horse' to be Next Tottenham Manager

45-Year-Old 'Dark Horse' to Become Tottenham Manager Alongside Pochettino and De Zerbi - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have a 'dark horse' manager on their list along with Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto De Zerbi this summer, according to GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs.

Spurs will be weighing up who the right manager is to take them forward next season, with current caretaker boss Igor Tudor unlikely to be kept on in a full-time role.

The full focus for Tudor and the players on the pitch is to secure Premier League survival, with results going against them on Wednesday night as West Ham United beat Fulham and Nottingham Forest picked up an expected point away at Manchester City.

It means that Tottenham are now just one point above the bottom three ahead of their home clash against Crystal Palace on Thursday night, and they are in desperate need of picking up their first win in 11 Premier League matches - a run that stretches back to 2025.

While Spurs could move for Pochettino and De Zerbi at the end of the season, former striker Robbie Keane is also emerging as a strong contender.

According to Jacobs, Tottenham have two main candidates for the manager's job in the summer.

Spurs will know that preserving their Premier League status will give them the best chance of landing their preferred target, with Pochettino and De Zerbi top of the list.

It seems unlikely that the out-of-work De Zerbi would take the job if Tottenham did end up going down, given he could be an option for Manchester United this summer, as well as Liverpool and Manchester City if managerial changes take place at those clubs anytime soon, as per GMS sources.

It would be a hard sell to Pochettino too after he manages the USA at their home World Cup, although according to Jacobs, the Argentine wouldn't necessarily be put off if the club was in the Championship, although his salary could be an issue.

Keane a 'Dark Horse' for Tottenham Job

You do wonder that if the worst did happen for Tottenham this season, if Robbie Keane could be a realistic option to be their manager in the Championship next season.

While the Republic of Ireland legend is a title winner at Ferencvaros, the chance to lead Spurs - even in the Championship - would surely be a tempting proposition for the 45-year-old.

According to Jacobs, Keane is 'one to watch' for the Tottenham job, although he is also attracting interest from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace too, with the south Londoners set to lose Oliver Glasner when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Keane has won 42 of his 69 matches in charge of the Hungarian giants, with a win rate of 61%.

Tottenham Identify Emergency Igor Tudor Replacement as Sack Update Emerges

Tottenham Identify Emergency Igor Tudor Replacements as Sack Update Emerges - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are drawing up 'emergency' plans to replace Igor Tudor if the club fails to beat Crystal Palace on Thursday night, according to a report just published by TEAMtalk.

Spurs appointed the Croat on a caretaker basis until the end of the season to pull the club away from the Premier League relegation zone following the dismissal of Thomas Frank, but the 47-year-old has lost his first two matches in charge despite being regarded as a 'firefighter' manager.

Results went against Tottenham on Wednesday night which has put even more pressure on them to pick up a positive result against Oiver Glasner's Eagles, with the north Londoners now just one point above the drop zone.

Worryingly for Spurs, they have now gone 10 league matches without a win, as their last victory came against Sunderland at the end of December.

Their first top flight win of 2026 is paramount, but Spurs are making contingency plans if another disappointing performance and result happens.

Tottenham Board Have 'Genuine Concerns' About Tudor

Tottenham chiefs decided that Tudor was the man to keep the club in the Premier League, which was probably based on the positive effect he had at Lazio and Juventus in previous years, having joined them at a similar time of the season.

The Croat led both sides to eight wins and just one defeat in his 10 matches in charge at the end of the respective campaigns, but he has already beaten that loss record at Spurs.

Now, according to TEAMtalk, the Tottenham board are said to have 'genuine concerns' that Tudor might not be the right man to turn things around with no real impact on the squad to date.

While the defeat to Arsenal was understandable, albeit not brilliant, there was no progress from that game to the clash against Fulham a week later, despite having a week to work on things on the training ground.

Tudor has also started to call out his players in the media, which may not be the best tactic in what is a serious relegation battle.

Tottenham Identify Tudor Alternatives

According to the report, Tottenham decision-makers are already aware of potential alternatives they could turn to should they decide they can't continue with Tudor at the helm.

It seems clear that a third consecutive defeat could have severe ramifications for Tudor, with Spurs' situation getting more and more serious every week.

The Croat needs a big performance from his players on Thursday, or he could find himself out of a job very quickly following the game.

Lange and Vinai Would Win Tottenham Fans Over With 'World-Class' Manager Appointment

Lange and Vinai Would Win Tottenham Fans Over With 'World-Class' Manager Appointment - GiveMeSport
Description

Given Tottenham Hotspur's current situation on the pitch, it's fair to say that sporting director Johan Lange and CEO Vinai Venkatesham are not the most popular names among the club's fanbase.

Spurs remain outside the Premier League relegation zone by just a point ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday night, but it feels like them keeping their noses just above danger has been largely down to the form of the teams around them.

The north London club's defeat to Fulham on Sunday meant they have now gone 10 Premier League matches without a win for the first time since 1994, while they remain without a top flight win in 2026 with their last three points coming against Sunderland at the end of December.

New caretaker manager Igor Tudor has lost both of his matches in charge after Tottenham officials decided to go down that route, rather than making a permanent appointment.

Lange and Venkatesham will hope the club has enough to stay up in the next weeks, and then they can focus on making the right appointment to try and take Tottenham back to the top next season.

Tottenham Targeting Mauricio Pochettino Return

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Tottenham have identified former boss Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto De Zerbi as two of the frontrunners for the job in the summer.

Spurs probably ideally would have tried to get the Argentine now for the run-in, but it was impossible with the 54-year-old focused on leading the USA at their home World Cup this summer.

If Tottenham do pick the 'world-class' Pochettino as their preferred candidate, they will likely have to wait until deep in the summer before a move can be completed and he can begin work at Hotspur Way.

Lange and Venkatesham have come under fire for recruitment and managerial decisions in recent months, and the duo will know they need to get the next permanent appointment right to keep their jobs safe.

Pochettino's last job in club football was with Chelsea, where he lasted less than 12 months before being dismissed in 2024.

The Appointment the Fans Want

Pochettino was a huge favourite among the Tottenham faithful during his five years in charge previously, which culminated in him leading the club to the Champions League final.

That love hasn't disappeared, and the supporters made their feelings for the Argentine clear as they chanted his name during what proved to be Thomas Frank's final match in charge against Newcastle.

Tottenham are in a dire situation with a real disconnect at the club between the fans and the players, and Pochettino has proved before that he can unite everyone and bring a feel-good atmosphere to home games - something that has been missing for a while.

The other potential advantage to hiring the 54-year-old is that, according to GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs, the Argentine is even open to managing Spurs in the Championship should the worst happen, depending on the deal.

That proves his commitment to Tottenham, and the appointment is a no-brainer for the senior chiefs as they look to get fans back onside.

Barcelona Step Up Move to Sign 'World-Class' Tottenham Star, He's Desperate to Leave - GiveMeSport
Description

Barcelona have intensified their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Micky Van de Ven for this summer, according to Sport.

The north London club have had an atrocious season so far, and currently sit just one place above the relegation zone in the Premier League, with Igor Tudor still looking for his first points as interim manager since replacing Thomas Frank last month.

Their form this season means that they will not be playing in the Champions League next season unless they somehow win it this year, and that means that several of their top stars are likely to be looked at for transfers elsewhere.

Barcelona Eyeing Van de Ven

One of those players being eyed up for a move is Van de Ven, with the star defender increasingly unhappy with the on-field performances of the club.

Barcelona are keen to bring in a top-level left-footed centre back this summer, with Inter Milan star Alessandro Bastoni widely considered to be their top target. However, Inter Milan are not in a position to sell and don't want to, meaning the asking price is high and a deal is difficult to do.

That has seen the Spanish giants increase their efforts to sign the Netherlands international this summer, and it's understood that it is 'very likely' that he will leave Spurs before next season begins.

Van de Ven is seen by Barcelona officials as a perfect fit for the profile they want to add to their squad this summer, and the player himself doesn't want to stay at Spurs, with the club 'in crisis'.

Barcelona also believe that the 24-year-old, who has been described as 'world-class', would prioritise a move to the Camp Nou over any other interested parties, including Premier League clubs, and his €65m (£56.5m) price tag isn't seen as a huge hurdle.

Tottenham May Have to Cut Their Losses

It's evident that all is not well with Spurs heading into the summer, and it will take an almighty effort from the owners to turn things around for everyone.

Van de Ven has already turned down talks over a new deal with the club due to all the uncertainty, and because of that they may well be forced to cash in and avoid a mutiny. He's one of their best players, so they can demand a big fee, and use that to strengthen their squad for the new season.

GIVEMESPORT asked ChatGPT who Spurs could sign as a viable replacement, and this was its response:

Spurs Confirm Dele Alli is Training With Them as Free Agent

Dele Alli's Career Takes Fresh Twist as Premier League Club Confirm He is Training With Them - GiveMeSport
Description

Dele Alli was once one of the most talented English footballers on the planet. Bursting onto the scene as a teenager with Tottenham Hotspur, he won the PFA Young Player of the Year award in back-to-back seasons in 2015/16 and 2016/17.

It wasn't long, however, before his career hit a bit of a wall. Having fallen out of favour at Spurs, the midfielder joined Everton in 2022, but failed to ever find any real form with the Toffees. He then spent a spell on loan at Besiktas, but again did not deliver his best.

Leaving Goodison Park in 2024, Dele eventually found a new club in 2025. Over in Italy, he signed for Como, got sent off on his debut and was then informed he would not be getting a new contract as he was released in September 2025.

Now in 2026, he remains a free agent but has at least been able to train with a Premier League club.

Alli Trains With Premier League Club to Build Fitness

As per The Athletic, Alli is training individually at his former club Tottenham Hotspur to maintain fitness while he searches for a new team. The report notes that the 29-year-old has been permitted to train on an academy pitch at Hotspur Way, their Hertfordshire base.

Spurs have confirmed the news, as it was revealed that he has actually been with the club for a few weeks now. He was even seen working with an individual coach on Wednesday.

Dele scored 67 goals and provided 59 assists in 269 Tottenham games during his six-and-a-half seasons in north London. He also made 37 England appearances, scoring at both Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup.

Dele was actually a guest at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the 4-1 north London derby defeat to rivals Arsenal in February, and even came onto the pitch at half-time. He told the crowd:

“I can’t wait to get back on the pitch playing, hopefully it won’t be too long now.

“I hope you’ve missed me as much as I’ve missed you. A lot has happened in our journeys since we were last together but I’m back today and I hope you know that you’ll always be my family.”

Dele will perhaps be hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow English midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who recently trained with Arsenal, even playing for the U21 team, before earning a move to Celtic.

In February, another former club, MK Dons were linked with a possible move for Alli. On top of that, four Spanish top-flight clubs, including Elche were also touted as possible destinations for the 29-year-old.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up next. For now, it remains unlikely that he would do enough to earn a second chance at Tottenham, who can't afford to take any risks on the pitch with the threat of relegation looming.

Igor Tudor Must Make Key Spurs Change To Unlock Xavi Simons

Igor Tudor Must Make Key Spurs Change To Unlock Xavi Simons - GiveMeSport
Description

The sparkle we were starting to see from Xavi Simons in a Tottenham shirt has been lost since Igor Tudor arrived in north London.

Simons was Spurs' big £51milion signing in the summer, brought in to fill the creative void left by the injured James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski.

It took the Dutchman time to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League and early indications were that it was not money well spent, but slowly but surely the 22-year-old began to adapt and as the season wore on we started to see signs of the talent he has and what he had to offer in the Premier League.

Has Thomas Frank's Departure Had a Bigger Effect On Xavi Simons?

However, it seems like Thomas Frank's departure has hit Simons harder than others. The Dutchman was starting to find his feet, but that progress seems to have been curtailed by Igor Tudor.

Tudor was brought in as a firefighter, an interim manager to get Tottenham out of relegation trouble they had got themselves in under Frank. But so far, two games in, he has not made a difference.

The players still look bereft of ideas, with problems defensively, a lack of shape and no attacking intent. Simons was used in a two behind Randal Kolo Muani against Arsenal and then on the left of a front three against Fulham.

He had little joy whatsoever and little impact on either game.

He was hooked, alongside Conor Gallagher - a January big-money signing - before the hour mark in the defeat to Fulham, showing how ineffective he was.

Xavi Simons' Best Position is Clear

But Simons is wasted on the left. He needs to be playing in the No.10 role, finding the space in behind the striker, to be most effective. He - and Spurs as a result - are being stymied in an attacking sense with this set-up.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, football.london's Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold said: "He (Tudor) took off Tottenham's two big, important signings, barring [Mohammed] Kudus who is obviously injured, their most expensive signings, barring him in Xavi Simons and Conor Gallagher, before the hour mark, it was about 58 minutes! There's £81million worth of talent there.

"They barely offered a thing between them against Fulham. I don't know whether it says a lot about the tactics, the starting lineup, or whether it just speaks of a wider sense about Tottenham's transfer activity, I don't know, but they were just pretty awful to be honest.

"Xavi Simons is an inconsistent player, we know that while he's still trying to adjust to the Premier League, but I'd also say his talents are wasted on the left flank. I don't like him there. I can understand it in certain games you're scared almost to play through the middle, but I'd love him to play behind strikers. I do think he can kind of do more there."

What's Next For Tottenham Hotspur?

Tottenham take on Crystal Palace on Thursday night in a huge clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. With Nottingham Forest and West Ham both playing on Wednesday night, they could be even further in relegation trouble by the time they kick off.

One thing is for sure though, if they have any chance of putting a string of results together, Tudor must starting putting square pegs in square holes and that starts with Simons in the No.10 role.
