Former Tottenham Hotspur managing director of football Fabio Paratici is likely to return to the club this summer, according to Corriere della Sera (via Sport Witness).

The North London side will reportedly re-hire the Italian executive two years after he left the role, despite strong interest from AC Milan, who recently held a meeting with Paratici in Italy.

The 52-year-old is believed to have felt 'somewhat messed around' by Milan and is not convinced that everyone at the club wants him, despite the Rossoneri's long-standing interest.

Paratici is set to return to football following his 18-month suspension for financial irregularities during his time at Juventus and is now expected to reunite with Daniel Levy.

The Italian resigned from his role at Spurs in April 2023 after losing an appeal in Italy against his ban, which was initially set to last 30 months.

Paratici has been in talks to become Milan’s new sporting director for several weeks amid his anticipated return to football.

Tottenham Hotspur are exploring a deal to sign Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford ahead of the summer transfer window, according to insider Mick Brown, speaking to Football Insider.

Rashford struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford after Ruben Amorim arrived through the door and was subsequently sent on loan to Aston Villa for the second half of the season. The England international has flourished since joining the Midlands club, and his future is up in the air as he prepares to return to United this summer.

It's unclear whether Villa will look to sign Rashford, previously called 'world-class' by teammate Rasmus Hojlund, on a permanent deal just yet, but it certainly wouldn't be a surprise if they did, considering his form for the club this season. “Tottenham are looking into what it would take to sign Rashford. But they have to make a decision about what direction they’re going in.
