Tottenham Hotspur are among a host of Premier League clubs showing interest in Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck, journalist Rudy Galetti has revealed.

The Lilywhites, alongside West Ham, Everton and Bournemouth, have reportedly made an enquiry regarding the German defender amid his impressive year at San Siro.

Bisseck helped Inter reach the Champions League final last week and has been a regular squad player under Simone Inzaghi this season, making 43 appearances and scoring two goals.

The Germany international has no shortage of suitors across Europe and Inter could re-evaluate his future after the Club World Cup in case any offers arrive at the table.

Galetti, writing on X, has revealed that Tottenham are among the English clubs to have shown interest in Bisseck in recent weeks:

Bisseck, praised as ‘insane’, joined Inter from Danish side Aarhus in 2023 and struggled for regular minutes in his first season with the reigning Serie A champions.

The Koln-born defender made just nine starts in Serie A and two in the Champions League, before emerging as a valuable piece of Inzaghi’s squad this term.

Bisseck made an appearance in each of Inter’s knockout games en route to the final and started both legs of the semi-final 7–6 win against Barcelona.

The 24-year-old penned a new five-year deal with Inter back in November and his current terms run until June 2029.

And Tottenham would be silly not to make a move for the 'genius' former Brighton boss if they are to progress. De Zerbi came to the AMEX Stadium to replace Graham Potter early in the 2022/23 season, when the Englishman left for Chelsea in September of the campaign - and he bettered Potter's ninth-placed finish from the year before with a sixth-placed standing, ensuring European football for the first time for the Seagulls.

He left at the end of the following campaign with Brighton finishing 11th in the top-flight, 12 points away from the European spots - but he's had a solid campaign at Marseille and recent form has seen them finish in the top three of the Ligue 1 table, with Champions League football to celebrate at the Stade Velodrome.

But a Premier League return could be on the cards, and with Tottenham just one game from playing in Europe's premier competition should they beat United in the final, that could be enticing enough for Paratici and Daniel Levy to make a move for his services.

Time will run out for Postecoglou if he doesn't deliver a trophy in his second season as he previously promised earlier in the campaign when results weren't going his way. Of course, Tottenham haven't won a trophy for 17 years and in that regard, he'd be doing the club a huge favour in terms of qualifying for the Champions League themselves, as well as dusting off the cobwebs in their trophy cabinet, with almost two decades since their last major honour.

The 24-year-old played on the left side of defense, and managed just one accurate long ball from six, and completed 31 of 41 passes overall.

He received plenty of praise earlier this season for how he managed to turn his Tottenham career around, but the Englishman has hit a dry spell as of late. Postecoglou opted against starting Spence in either of his side's two legs against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-finals, with Destiny Udogie having returned to contention.

Spence has endured a rather rocky tenure since signing for the North Londoners in 2022. After loan moves to Rennes, Leeds United and Genoa, he finally returned to Spurs' first team to help amid an injury crisis, thanks to an up-turn in attitude. He featured in an array of positions, including at centre-back to fill in as cover, but with key players now returning, he has lost his starting place.

The ex-Middlesborough ace signed a new contract last year which is set to expire in 2028, but he could see a move away from Tottenham as an opportunity to garner more consistent playing time for his career.

United's main focus domestically is trying to build some much-needed momentum and ensure none of their star players get injured. Unfortunately, that hasn't gone to play so far, with Matthijs de Ligt picking up a problem during the week.

Reporting on X during Manchester United's game against West Ham United, journalist Railston has suggested that it 'really isn't good news' for United after Yoro was substituted due to injury. With the Tottenham game just 10 days away, it could be a crucial blow for the Red Devils as they prepare for the Europa League final...

"Leny Yoro is down with an injury and it looks like Harry Maguire is coming on. This really isn't good news."

Thankfully for United, Maguire is a more than competent replacement for Yoro, but there was a chance the English defender would have started in the Europa League final alongside Yoro anyway.

In more positive news for United, Tottenham also suffered an injury blow on the same day. Dejan Kulusevski was substituted in the first half against Crystal Palace on Sunday, meaning both sides could be set to lose some key players in the days leading up to the Europa League final.

An explanation has been given as to why Ismaila Sarr's goal for Crystal Palace was ruled out for offside against Tottenham, despite the fact the forward was onside before slotting home in North London. Oliver Glasner's side were looking to build some momentum ahead of next week's FA Cup final against Manchester City, and looked to have made the perfect start with an opener inside 10 minutes.

Kulusevski, described as 'world-class', is a crucial player at the best of times for Spurs, but with Lucas Bergvall and James Maddison also ruled out, not having the Swedish international available could be catastrophic. It's too early to tell whether he will be ruled out, but it's certainly not a good sign for Spurs.

If Maddison and Kulusevski are both unavailable, Tottenham will have a severe lack of creativity in their side. It's a major boost for Man Utd, but they have their own injury woes to contend with. Matthijs de Ligt missed the game against West Ham, while Leny Yoro picked up an injury during the match.

Spurs have had their worst domestic season in decades as they currently sit in 16th place in the Premier League following 19 defeats in 35 games this season, but they remarkably have the opportunity to reach the Champions League via the back door after reaching the Europa League final this week.

Maddison Needs More Competition

Since arriving from Leicester City in a £40m deal, James Maddison has been a key member of the Spurs team but still the team has been lacking a creative spark for the most part.

After picking up a knee injury in the first leg win over Bodø/Glimt following his goal, the England international will now miss the rest of the season - including the Europa League final - in a major blow to Postecoglou and the team. Dejan Kulusevski is likely to be tasked with the number ten role for that game, but the lack of creativity in the squad in central areas is evident.

That should see the club looking to make moves in the summer transfer window to strengthen that position, and the obvious target is Lyon sensation Rayan Cherki.

The 21-year-old has been labelled 'unplayable' this season, while former Chelsea man Frank Lebouef has previously called him "one of the most skilful players on Earth" and Athletic journalist Alex Barker said he is a "future Ballon d'Or winner". So it's mental that he is expected to be available to sign for just £25m this summer.

Cherki would add explosiveness, trickery and creativity to a side that lacks it, and with his ability to play wide he could also line up alongside Maddison when he's fit. But considering Maddison's £170,000-a-week wages, and a growing injury record, it's a deal that should be considered as a replacement for the English playmaker.

It also can't be ignored that Maddison's injury record isn't the greatest. He's only ever managed to start 30 Premier League games once in his career back in 2018/19, while he has picked up four injuries over the last four seasons that have seen him miss at least two months of action.

Cherki can come in and immediately improve the squad, while also ensuring that if Maddison isn't available there isn't a drop off in quality or creativity.

There will never be a better opportunity to sign a player of this quality and pedigree than this season, and Daniel Levy should prioritise this transfer above all else.

"Everyone got through Thursday okay, and we're half hopeful that we can get Sonny some minutes tomorrow, he'll be the only one who can really come back in.

"I think they [Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie] need to get obviously some game time between now and then, which where that happens, look, unlikely tomorrow because I think what we do know about Thursday night, playing on an artificial pitch takes a lot out of the players, it's fair to say they were sore.

"If we had another two weeks, potentially he [Bergvall] could [play in the final]. I am sure he will be trying, I am sure Madders will be trying mate just to get the strip on. Unfortunate for both of those guys, but that has been our season. Nothing has run smooth."

"If everything goes right he'll be re-integrated in full training next week, and on Wednesday when we start preparing for the [FA Cup] final. He is the only who can't play. All the others are fit and available.

“90% he can play [in the FA Cup final], but always things can happen. Sunday at Tottenham is too early.

“The pain is too much for this game. His ligament is a little bit damaged, that is the reason, the only reason [he can’t play]."

Despite the FA Cup final being a week away Glasner is likely to keep the side relatively unchanged to continue with the rhythm, meaning Will Hughes should come in for Wharton, while Jefferson Lerma could start in midfield too to provide more energy.

Brentford star Yoane Wissa has been “tracked closely” by Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

Despite losing Ivan Toney in the summer and club-record signing Igor Thiago battling injuries for much of the campaign, Brentford have not struggled for goals in the 2024/25 season. This, in no small part, is due to the exceptional form of their front duo, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.

Multiple clubs have been monitoring Mbeumo for some time, with most expecting the Cameroonian international to be on the move this summer. Speaking to Sky Sports, club captain Christian Norgaard himself said that Mbeumo is “likely to go” in the transfer window, but Brentford must also be conscious of interest in their other star forward.

Spurs Keen on Wissa

As per Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur have been watching Wissa throughout the season. The DR Congo international has been at Brentford since 2021 and while being comfortable playing out wide, has enjoyed his best goalscoring season in the Premier League whilst being deployed as a striker. Wissa has been dubbed "unbelievable" for his form across the campaign.

Spurs are well-stocked on paper at striker, but only Dominic Solanke has shown consistent form for them throughout the season. Mathys Tel only joined in January and is still a young talent, while the likes of Son Heung-min and Timo Werner can play either up front or out wide. Richarlison, meanwhile, is the subject of interest from elsewhere ahead of the transfer window.

As such, Spurs would do well to bolster their attacking ranks and in Wissa, would be signing a player who is not only in the prime years of his career but one who, crucially, has proven that he can score on a consistent basis in the Premier League.
