They would have certainly been impressed by what they saw as the 19-year-old delivered another excellent performance and got on the scoresheet, which is his 12th goal of the season across all competitions.

However, they were not the only ones to run the rule over Rayan, with scouts from Barcelona also being in attendance. The report reveals that Zenit Saint Petersburg are also involved in the race for the teenager.

Tottneham could make an offer which falls short of Rayan’s release

NT Vascainos reveal that Rayan’s current deal at Vasco runs until the end of 2026, and he has a release clause of €40m (£34.3m) in his contract.

The outlet claims that the London side have been extremely impressed with the winger and are expected to present an offer in the region of €30m (£25.7m).

“We have had an injury to Kolo Muani which is a dead leg contact injury, then we have Dom miskicking a ball. So we have two relatively unlucky ones. So can we nail and get on top of the muscle injuries? Probably impossible to not have any of those injuries but so far so good and we are very aware of it.”

Frank also went on to explain that the work being done is not just about the immediate situation, but about establishing a long-term plan that will help Spurs maintain availability levels across the season.

He made it clear that training intensity, recovery schedules and overall workload balance remain central to the plan.

He added: “I think it is about workload in training, it is not too little, definitely enough intensity because we train and play with intensity, then I think it is all about the planning – gym, recovery, lots of things.
