Tottenham are taking advantage of the football off-season by using the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to host events.

Thomas Frank will be hoping for multiple signings at Spurs this summer. Therefore, Daniel Levy has found another method to raise funds ahead of what is set to be a busy summer.

Spurs are hosting multiple events at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the start of the new season, which will no doubt bring in extra revenue.

Tottenham Hotspur News has provided all the information you need to know about the event.

Heatwave set to continue in London for 50 Cent visit

Any Tottenham fans who are planning on going to watch 50 Cent are set to enjoy more great weather in the UK.

According to the Met Office, Thursday (3 July) is set to have a high of 26 degrees.

The chance of precipitation is low, with odds of below five per cent for the event.

On top of this, the humidity is likely to be high, with it hitting 58 per cent at its peak on Thursday.

However, any fans who suffer from hayfever could be in for a tough evening, with the pollen levels set to be high.

Parking limited around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Driving is often discouraged when travelling to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to the limited parking and controlled parking zones around the ground.

There is also no public car park at the stadium, meaning that anyone planning to get to the event via car may have to park a distance away from the ground.

If travelling by train, the nearest stations are the Seven Sisters and Northumberland Park, which are a 35-minute and a 15-minute walk from the ground respectively.

With the event set to start at 16:30, fans will need to plan ahead to ensure they get to the stadium on time or they may miss the start.

Description

Daniel Levy has once again identified a top young talent to bring to Tottenham.

Tottenham have targeted young talent from across Europe in recent years, signing players such as Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Luka Vušković

There have been some exciting players climbing the ranks at Hotspur Way, too, such as Mikey Moore, who is already a UEFA Europa League winner with Tottenham.

Several aspects of Levy’s recruitment can be criticised, but bringing in the best young talent is not one of those aspects, as the Lilywhites now close in on another exciting deal.

Tottenham agree deal to sign Oliver Boast from Leeds United

As reported by Beren Cross via The Athletic (26 June), Tottenham have agreed a seven-figure fee with Leeds United for Oliver Boast.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The 16-year-old is considered a prized asset and has already played once for Leeds’ Under-21s.

As reported by Lilywhite Rose on Monday (30 June), Boast was not present at the scholar signing at Tottenham Sunday (29 June) as FA paperwork has not yet gone through, but it is expected too soon.

It seems Levy has outdone himself with this signing, and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Boast will come in as Spurs’ best striker in his age group.

“I’ve spoken to a few parents of players in Spurs’ academy,” Wenham said.

“They recently watched Boast at this tournament called the Nationals, where different Under-16 teams across the country compete, and they said he was basically the best player at the tournament.

“He’s got a lot of good attributes and probably comes in as our best striker in that age group. It will be interesting, we have Frankie Day too, whom I rate very highly.

“To have the two of them, England youth internationals, scoring goals, that is exciting. I’m looking forward to seeing Boast play next season, and I think this is a really good pickup.”

Boast could soon join Spurs’ first team

Ange Postecoglou gave several youngsters a chance last season, and Thomas Frank could do the same.

Tottenham will play in multiple competitions next season, including the UEFA Champions League. Therefore, with a lot of games to play, there could be a chance for Boast to see some minutes.

While he is still only 16, that is the same age Moore was when he made his debut for Tottenham. As a result, if Boast is as talented as is being said, it might not be long until he is handed his Spurs debut.

‘Levy can now strike Eberechi Eze deal at Tottenham’ after Arsenal development

Description

Daniel Levy could be facing a watershed moment at Tottenham this summer.

Levy has briefly won back some favour with the Spurs faithful, on which he can build following the Lilywhites’ first major trophy in 17 years.

The Tottenham Chairman has a unique opportunity to mark this new era as a turning point for his and Spurs’ fortunes by backing Thomas Frank in the transfer window.

However, old patterns are emerging as the 63-year-old is showing familiar hesitation to finalise big-money moves for top targets.

Signing Eberechi Eze, a player Spurs have long admired, could go a long way in restoring faith among the Lilywhites, and Levy has been handed a boost to do just that after an Arsenal update.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Arsenal are not looking to pay Eze’s release clause

Tottenham have been aware of Eze’s release clause, which is set at £68million, and have been deliberating over whether the attacking midfielder should be their marquee summer signing.

Frank has specified the need for at least one attacking player. Therefore, the temptation of bringing the England international to Hotspur Way is strong, especially after his stellar campaign with Crystal Palace last season.

Unfortunately, Spurs’ delay in making a decision has allowed their bitter rivals Arsenal to accelerate their interest in Eze, putting them in pole position to sign the Eagles superstar.

However, according to The Athletic (1 July), Arsenal will try to negotiate a lower-value deal that would fall below his release clause.

This development could give Levy another chance to win this race. If the Spurs supremo were to pay the full amount that Oliver Glasner’s side is demanding, he would be able to secure Eze’s move to Tottenham.

Eze perfectly fits Tottenham’s motto

Tottenham were guilty of straying from their attacking principles for a period after Mauricio Pochettino’s departure, which the Spurs supporters quickly reprimanded.

Ange Postecoglou looked to restore their identity, and Frank will be expected to continue the transition back to the club’s motto, ‘to dare is to do’.

There is no better embodiment of that ideology than Eze. The playmaker effortlessly glides past defenders across the pitch and regularly comes up with something special in the form of an exciting skill, a deft pass, or an outrageous goal.

Signing Eze would certainly ignite the Tottenham fanbase and bring them closer to returning to the club’s historic footballing ideologies.

‘Kōta Takai exit already on the cards’ as Tottenham agree deal – Exclusive - tottenhamhotspurnews.com
Description

Kōta Takai could be set to leave Tottenham as soon as he arrives in North London.

Daniel Levy has been criticised by fans for Spurs’ slow start to the transfer window.

Tottenham conceded the fifth-highest amount of goals in the Premier League last season, and Thomas Frank will be keen to change this next year.

As a result, defensive reinforcements are needed, especially with the potential sale of Cristian Romero to Atletico Madrid. Fortunately, it looks as though Tottenham are on the verge of announcing the arrival of a new centre-back, although he isn’t expected to be a part of the first-team squad next season.

Takai could be loaned out after arriving at Tottenham

Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Takai for £5million, with his current club, Kawasaki Frontale, confirming that the defender will leave Japan to join an overseas club after a match with Kashima Antlers on Saturday (5 July).

MORE SPURS STORIES

It has been reported that the 20-year-old centre-back will be part of Frank’s first-team squad next season [The Standard].

However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – is sceptical about these reports and believes Takai could be loaned out next season.

“From what I’ve read, he’s got the ability to play on both sides,” Wenham said.

“That gives us another option. He seems like a player of high potential, quite tall, and has a lot of experience under his belt already at such a young age. I’m delighted with this signing.

“I know some reports are suggesting he will come straight into the first team and won’t go out on loan, but I’m not so sure. Being realistic, I think he will go on the pre-season tour, and Frank will have a look at him.

“However, we’ve got a lot of centre-backs already, and if he isn’t going to play regularly, I could see him potentially being loaned out.”

Frank has huge decisions awaiting him at Tottenham

One of the toughest decisions that awaits Frank is confirming his squad for next season.

Levy has built a strong team with big personalities, and with several rumoured signings yet to be added, the Dane has his work cut out for him.

This could be an opportunity for numerous youth players to prove themselves. Josh Keeley is just one player who could make Frank’s list after a standout season at Leyton Orient.

Furthermore, pre-season presents a chance for more senior players to convince the new gaffer. Manor Solomon is another player who will be hoping to earn a spot in the first team.

Therefore, Spurs’ upcoming pre-season tour could become a treat for fans across the world.

‘Tottenham to seal Xavi Simons transfer’ thanks to Liverpool

Description

Tottenham fans will envy Liverpool’s aggressive start to the summer transfer window.

Liverpool have not settled on last season’s Premier League title success and have already made three excellent signings, including a mouthwatering move for German superstar Florian Wirtz.

Arne Slot’s side are also battling Tottenham for Marc Guéhi and could still bring in more new faces as they look to defend their title.

Liverpool’s approach is in stark contrast with Spurs’, who have yet to bring in a marquee signing this summer, but the Lilywhites could be about to receive an unlikely favour from the Reds.

RB Leipzig report interest in Harvey Elliott to replace Xavi Simons

Harvey Elliott has been touted for Tottenham as he looks set to leave Liverpool this summer after almost six years at the Merseyside club.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The midfielders’ performances in the UEFA European Under-21 Championships saw him pick up the Player of the Tournament award, highlighting both his quality and his need to play more minutes than he has been afforded at Liverpool.

As reported by The Athletic (1 July), RB Leipzig are one of the clubs interested in signing the 22-year-old, either on loan or a permanent deal.

However, they must first recuperate funds from selling players, including Tottenham target Xavi Simons, who has asked to leave the German club.

With Elliott quickly gaining additional suitors following his stand-out contributions on the European stage, Leipzig will be incentivised to hurry their approach.

This means they will be much more open to offers for the disgruntled Simons, which could open the door for Spurs to seal the transfer quickly.

Simons’ lack of stability is a worry for Spurs

At 22, Simons is the perfect age profile to join Spurs with plenty of experience, but has plenty of room to grow under Thomas Frank and become a permanent fixture for Tottenham for years to come.

However, history suggests that Simons has found settling hard as he has continuously hopped between Paris Saint-Germain, PSV Eindhoven, and Leipzig without seemingly committing to any project.

His desire to leave the German club less than a year after signing a permanent deal could be a red flag for Spurs, who can’t afford to spend big money on players who may see the North Londoners as a stepping stone.

‘Djed Spence in serious trouble at Tottenham’ after transfer development

Description

Tottenham maverick Djed Spence could be leaving North London after a rollercoaster three years.

Spence arrived from Middlesbrough full of promise, but was not given much of an opportunity before being shipped out on loan to Rennes, Leeds United, and Genoa.

Last season’s injury crisis finally allowed the talented full-back a chance to impress Ange Postecoglou, and he took it with both hands.

The Englishman was arguably Tottenham’s best player during the winter months, filling in on both flanks before eventually being phased out of the first team toward the end of Postecoglou’s tenure as Destiny Udogie returned to fitness.

The 24-year-old still has three years left on his deal, but recent developments suggest he may not see out his contract at Hotspur Way.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Tottenham are considering signing another full-back

Thomas Frank is a big fan of Spence and previously explored the possibility of signing the former England Under-21 international while he was at Brentford.

Spence would have been hoping that the Dane’s arrival would boost his chances of solidifying a place in the starting line-up, especially with Pedro Porro potentially leaving Spurs.

However, as reported by The Athletic (1 July), Spurs have explored the possibility of adding another full-back to their ranks this summer.

The Lilywhites’ need to address their club-trained quota to satisfy UEFA Champions League rules has already seen them heavily linked with former academy players Kyle Walker-Peters and Dennis Cirkin.

This development could spell serious trouble for Spence’s future at Spurs, especially given that he has spent most of his time in North London feeling underappreciated.

With starting spots almost nailed on for Porro and Udogie, Spence could be the player to make way if a new full-back is signed.

Frank’s system suits Spence perfectly

Spence possesses unique qualities that set him apart from other Spurs options and could be a handy weapon for Frank.

His calm demeanour, both in and out of possession, makes him a very press-resistant player suited to the modern game.

The former Nottingham Forest loanee is also highly adept at dribbling and has exceptional athletic abilities that allow him to bomb forward and pose a significant threat in the front third.

Frank is expected to play a more direct brand of football geared toward quick transitions and overlapping fullbacks, for which Spence is almost custom-made. Therefore, Tottenham must ensure to keep hold of the right-back.

Description

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo as the Cherries continue to be raided.

It has been an eventful summer at the Vitality Stadium, but perhaps one that Tottenham will not envy.

Andoni Iraola has already lost Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid just one year after signing the centre-back from Juventus, while Milos Kerkez has made the move to Liverpool.

Meanwhile, star forward Semenyo has also been linked with a transfer away from the South Coast.

Bournemouth want £70million for Semenyo

As reported by David Ornstein via The Athletic (20 June), Bournemouth want £70million for Semenyo.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The price could prove too steep for Tottenham, especially as they step up their interest in signing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham.

After several key departures, it is no wonder that the Cherries are demanding such a high price to part ways with Semenyo.

However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Bournemouth might already be in trouble, even if they keep hold of the 25-year-old.

“We don’t know what will happen with Semenyo,” Wenham said.

“However, Bournemouth have already sold several players, including Huijsen and Kerkez. Therefore, they don’t need to sell Semenyo.

“I also found it strange that they let Max Aarons leave on loan as well. Kepa has gone too. I really do worry about Bournemouth. Unless the recruitment is fantastic this summer, they’re going to be in a relegation fight.

“I don’t see how you lose your main defenders and then start losing their replacements too. They definitely have issues to address this summer.”

Tottenham could have a choice to make

It is highly unlikely that Tottenham will pay big money to sign Kudus and Semeyno.

As a result, Tottenham may need to choose to sign one of them this summer. It will be a tough choice to make as both can play in several positions.

But it is a choice that needs to be made to best prepare for the upcoming season.

Archie Gray had a solid if not spectacular debut season at Tottenham after signing from Leeds United last summer.

The 19-year-old was thrown into action in the last campaign amid the London club’s growing injury crisis.

As a result, despite being a natural midfielder, Gray was often deployed as a makeshift defender to help combat absentees.

Nonetheless, Gray received praise for his performances last season as he went on to make 46 appearances in all competitions.

Archie Gray reacts to Junior Firpo’s exit at Leeds

Now that July is here, many players across the Premier League still face uncertain futures.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Multiple clubs have stars who are now set to leave due to their contracts expiring at the end of June.

Tottenham said goodbye to Sergio Reguilon, who has now left the North London club as a free agent.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, newcomers Leeds United have also seen star man Junior Firpo depart at the end of his contract, despite him playing a key role last season.

As a result, the full-back took to Instagram (1 July) to reflect on his time at the Yorkshire club.

Gray, who played with Firpo during his time at Elland Road, commented on the post, stating: “Legend,” with a crying face and four heart emojis following.

Gray set for a big season under Frank

With Tottenham’s injury crisis unlikely to recur, Gray is set for a massive season under Frank and show how good he can become.

On top of the Premier League, Spurs will also be playing in the Champions League, which will give the midfielder a chance to shine on the big stage.

If Frank can utilise Gray properly, there is no reason why he can’t be a highly-important player for Tottenham this season.

Hopefully the Dane will give the midfielder game time to help him develop into a star as the 19-year-old’s potential is massive.

Description

Tottenham have developed a history of producing top players through the club’s academy over the years.

The likes of Ledley King and, more recently, Harry Kane were developed into top players in the Spurs youth teams.

After producing arguably one of the best strikers in Kane, Tottenham have now secured a new contract for a youngster tipped to be the best defender for their age.

Tottenham’s Jun’Ai Byfield signs two-year scholarship

Last season proved that Tottenham is an attractive prospect for young players, with the likes of Archie Gray and academy graduate Mikey Moore featuring for the first team.

Next season, 16-year-old Jun’Ai Byfield could follow in their footsteps, having signed a two-year scholarship, according to Lilywhite Rose on X (30 June).

MORE SPURS STORIES

Having been the first choice in the Spurs’ youth side for some time, the young defender has also trained with the senior first-team squad.

With defence an area Tottenham are wanting to improve, Byfield could find himself closer to the starting XI next season.

There is already uncertainty regarding fellow defender Cristian Romero’s future, with Radu Dragusin the next in line in terms of cover for the Argentine and Micky van de Ven.

If Spurs can manage to keep Byfield, the North London club could potentially be playing with the best centre-back in the world at the heart of their defence.

Tottenham have shown their trust in youngsters in recent years, which has brought them contrasting fortunes.

In 2019, a young Spurs squad, including the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Winks, guided the Lilywhites to the Champions League final.

Last season, despite a poor domestic season, Tottenham again showed how their faith in youngsters can pay off with their Europa League win.

Now, Thomas Frank can continue his trend of developing young players, with Byfield one of those he will be keeping an eye on.

‘Romero to make ugly Tottenham exit’ after new Levy demands

‘Romero to make ugly Tottenham exit’ after new Levy demands - tottenhamhotspurnews.com
Description

Daniel Levy’s continued standoff with Cristian Romero threatens to derail Tottenham’s summer.

Levy has been the target of veiled criticism from the Argentine and was disappointed to hear Romero speak about his desire to compete in La Liga midway through last season.

Diego Simeone did Spurs no favours in publicly stating that he was a massive fan of the central defender and would love to bring him to Spain.

Levy must now decide how to handle Romero, who has two years left on his contract, and his decision may not be what the highly-rated centre-back hopes to hear.

Levy is unwilling to sell Romero for less than £70m

Levy has never been someone to bow to pressure, and his resolute approach saw the 63-year-old manage to sell Harry Kane for a deal reportedly worth up to £100million despite the England captain having only one year left on his contract.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The Tottenham Chairman is expected to be similarly bullish about Romero, especially given the vice-captain’s clear influence on the Lilywhites’ fortunes.

Levy is not looking to sell the 27-year-old and will not entertain an offer below £70million this summer, as reported by The Times (30 June).

This is far above Atletico Madrid’s valuation, and would essentially price Simeone out of being able to sign his compatriot.

This will not sit well with Spurs’ centre-back and could push Romero closer to submitting an official transfer request, which could result in a very ugly exit.

This protracted saga is doing Thomas Frank and the rest of the team no favours in terms of planning, and could even have much more profound ramifications if it ruins the harmony within the squad.

Spurs should sell Romero this summer if he rejects a new contract

The most essential criterion in a good defensive unit is forging strong relationships with fellow teammates, which takes time to build.

If Romero does not commit to a contract extension at Hotspur Way, he should be sold this summer. Staying for maybe one or even two seasons before departing would once again derail Tottenham.

Centre-back is arguably where Tottenham have the most depth, even before the impending arrival of Kōta Takai.

Frank would be much better off focusing on players who will be part of Spurs’ long-term future and concentrating on developing those partnerships, specifically looking for the ideal partner for Micky van de Ven.
