Kolo Muani Upgrade: 'Unbelievable' 30-Goal Striker Wants to Join Tottenham - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham could sign a 30-goal striker in the summer transfer window at a 20% discount, and he'd be an upgrade on Randal Kolo Muani.

It could be a busy window for Spurs, regardless of what happens in the Premier League over the next five games.

If the north London club suffer relegation to the Championship, then a host of their key stars will leave the club, meaning they'll be forced into the market for replacements.

If they manage to survive, Roberto De Zerbi's side needs an overhaul to ensure they are not battling towards the bottom of the table again.

Tottenham also need to build a squad capable of playing De Zerbi's style of football, so it could be a hectic window for Spurs.

Tottenham Can Sign Troy Parrott at Bargain Price

According to reliable journalist Alasdair Gold, Tottenham inserted a 20% sell-on clause in a deal to sell young striker Troy Parrott to AZ Alkmaar.

His value ahead of the summer is estimated to be around £22m, and Spurs could get a further discount on that due to the sell-on clause.

It's claimed that Parrott would return to Spurs, even if they are relegated from the Premier League this season.

The 'unbelievable' striker is enjoying a phenomenal season with Alkmaar, scoring 30 goals in all competitions already.

He is currently the fifth top goalscorer in Europe's top 15 leagues, and at the age of 24, he's yet to reach his full potential.

Parrott would undoubtedly be one of the best strikers in the Championship, but there's every chance he's capable of finding the back of the net in the Premier League.

Parrott a Kolo Muani Upgrade

Although Parrott is yet to prove himself in a top league, it's hard to see him not making more of an impact than Kolo Muani at Tottenham.

The French striker has struggled to live up to expectations since his move to north London, and it feels unlikely that Spurs will turn his loan deal permanent.

Signing Parrott for under £20m would be a smarter move for Tottenham, especially as he's so keen on proving himself at the club.

The Republic of Ireland international may not have wanted to leave Tottenham at all, but had to for the sake of his career, so he'll certainly have a point to prove if he were to return.

Barcelona are believed to be eyeing a move to raid Tottenham in the summer transfer window, but they also face competition from Galatasaray, according to Fotospor.

Depending on how the next few weeks pan out, there could be a major fire sale at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the summer transfer window.

If relegated from the Premier League, a host of Spurs' stars will be seeking moves away from the club, and they might even be looking for departures if they avoid the drop.

Spurs won't be competing in Europe next season, but the majority of Tottenham's squad will have signed for the club due to them playing in the Champions League or Europa League.

Barcelona Eyeing Tottenham Raid

According to a report from Fotospor, both Galatasaray and Barcelona are showing an interest in signing Tottenham midfielder Xavi Simons ahead of the summer transfer window.

It's claimed that the Dutch international will head through the exit door later this year if Spurs drop down to the Championship, but he's likely to remain in north London if they avoid relegation.

Simons, described as 'phenomenal', hasn't hit the heights expected of him this season, so it would be a surprise move for Barcelona to try to secure his signature.

Barcelona also allowed him to depart as a youngster, so going back in for him would come as a bit of a shock.

Tottenham Need to Build Around Simons

If Tottenham avoid being relegated from the Premier League, then Simons is the type of player they need to build around.

He might not have performed as supporters would have expected just yet, but he's shown glimpses.

It takes time for players to settle into a new league, especially the Premier League, and Simons is still only 23 years old.

The Dutch international is exactly the type of attacking player that Roberto De Zerbi needs to help implement his system, and he showed signs of that during their recent game against Brighton.

Nottingham Forest Confirm Huge Injury Blow in Tottenham, West Ham Relegation Fight - GiveMeSport
Description

Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are locked in a tight Premier League relegation battle, with Forest confirming a major injury blow on Tuesday afternoon.

Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and West Ham continue their battle to avoid relegation to the Championship, and things took another twist during the weekend's fixtures.

Spurs played first on Saturday evening when they hosted manager Roberto De Zerbi's former team Brighton and Hove Albion at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, and looked on course to record their first Premier League win of 2026 as they led 2-1 going into stoppage time.

However, Georginio Rutter's 95th-minute equaliser broke their hearts, and it looked like Forest could suffer similar frustration when they hosted 19th-placed Burnley at the City Ground on Sunday.

Vitor Pereira's men found themselves 1-0 down at the break, but they roared back to win 4-1 to move five points clear of the drop zone with five matches left to play.

West Ham had the opportunity to move four points ahead of Tottenham when they travelled to face Crystal Palace on Monday night, but they had to settle for a 0-0 draw that kept the gap between the two London relegation battlers at two points.

Callum Hudson-Odoi Undergoes Surgery

Nottingham Forest confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that winger Callum Hudson-Odoi suffered an injury to his right quadriceps during their Europa League quarter-final tie against FC Porto on Thursday, which forced him to miss the game against Burnley at the weekend.

The former Chelsea forward has now undergone surgery on Tuesday and will now commence his rehabilitation with Forest medical staff immediately.

The club said they expect the 25-year-old to return to full training during pre-season, meaning he has been ruled out for the rest of the season and the remainder of the relegation run-in.

Hudson-Odoi has made 43 appearances in all competitions for Forest this term, scoring six goals and providing a further four assists.

Boost for Tottenham and West Ham

Any of the relegation-threatened clubs will take any bad injury news for their rivals at this point, especially when it's a player who has proven he can contribute in terms of goals and assists.

While Tottenham currently lie five points adrift of Forest and two of West Ham, and despite the awful run of form they are on, they will expect to beat Wolves at Molineux on Saturday.

Wanderers' relegation to the Championship was confirmed on Monday night after West Ham's draw with Palace, and it will be interesting to see how they react now there is officially nothing to play for.

De Zerbi will have earmarked it as a must-win game, and as more players return to fitness the Italian will know he needs to ensure they return to London with three points.

West Ham and Forest don't have easy matches this weekend by any stretch of the imagination, with the former hosting high-flying Everton, while the latter travel to the Stadium of Light to face Regis Le Bris' impressive Sunderland side.

Description

Tottenham are in a desperate fight to try to remain in the Premier League, and a host of their players are being linked with moves away from the club ahead of the summer transfer window.

Spurs currently find themselves sitting two points adrift of safety after West Ham picked up an important draw away at Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The north London club are still searching for their first victory of 2026 in the Premier League, but they did pick up their first point under Roberto De Zerbi at the weekend, although it would have felt like a loss.

Spurs conceded a late equaliser after a defensive mistake from Kevin Danso, silencing the home supporters.

Relegation will be a disaster for Tottenham, especially if they want to keep some of their key players.

Tottenham Confident of Keeping Gray

According to a report from Football Insider, Tottenham are confident of being able to keep Archie Gray at the club in the summer transfer window, despite major interest from clubs in the Premier League.

The English youngster is on a long-term deal until 2030, meaning Spurs are under no pressure to sell him when the window opens.

Relegation from the Premier League might soften their stance, but if they remain in the division, there's a strong chance they can keep Gray at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Gray hasn't been at the club for very long, but after an impressive spell, his performances have turned the heads of multiple clubs around Europe.

Liverpool and Man Utd Keen on Gray

The report from Football Insider confirms that Liverpool are one of the sides who are showing an interest in signing Gray in the summer transfer window.

Bayern Munich are also said to be keen, while separate reports have claimed that Manchester United are also interested in securing his signature.

Gray, described as 'incredible', would likely be interested in a move if those clubs ramp up their interest, as long as Tottenham are relegated from the Premier League.

Gray certainly won't be the only player heavily linked with a departure, regardless of whether they remain in England's top flight or not.

Tottenham Place Five Players on Transfer List Ahead of Summer

Tottenham Place Five Players on Transfer List Ahead of Summer - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have 'placed five players on the transfer list' ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Romania Journal.

Tottenham's full focus on the pitch right now is to try and retain their Premier League status, but their chances of staying up took another huge hit as Georginio Rutter's 95th-minute equaliser for Brighton and Hove Albion cost them their first three points in the top flight since December 28.

The 2-2 draw left Spurs five points adrift of 16th-placed Nottingham Forest and one point behind 17th-placed West Ham United, who could extend that advantage to four points if they beat Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

While there were more positive signs from the performance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening, Roberto De Zerbi knows he needs win and they have to take all three points when they face bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux this weekend.

Wolves' relegation to the Championship will be confirmed if West Ham avoid defeat against the Eagles, and Tottenham simply have to take advantage.

Whichever division they find themselves in, it appears as though the club's recruitment team are working on squad changes already.

Tottenham Transfer List Quintet Ahead of Summer

According to Romano Journal, centre-back Radu Dragusin is one of 'several' players Tottenham have placed on their transfer list ahead of the summer window.

The Romania international has agreed to leave the north Londoners having found first-team minutes hard to come by, and he has instructed his agent to find him a new club with talks already underway with interested clubs across Europe.

The report says that Spurs are also keen to axe Joao Palhinha and Randal Kolo Muani, who are on loan from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.

Palhinha started well at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium but has faded, while Kolo Muani has ultimately been a flop having only contributed one goal and assist in 25 Premier League appearances this season.

As things stand, it would be hard for the club to sanction permanent moves for either player, especially not knowing what division they will be playing in next term.

Two More Tottenham Players Set to Go

It might not be the biggest surprise that Ben Davies could be another player on his way out of Tottenham this summer, when his contract expires.

The 32-year-old has struggled with injury issues but at the same time, his experience could prove vital for Spurs if the worst does happen and they suffer a devastating relegation to the Championship.

The schedule in England's second tier is unforgiving, and having a leader with know-how around the squad can be vital.

Maybe the most surprising name mentioned is Pape Matar Sarr, who has four years remaining on his Tottenham contract.

The Senegal international has started 13 of their 33 Premier League matches this term, although he missed the middle part of the season while representing his country at AFCON.

He has been one of their more impressive performers in 2025-26 still, although admittedly it's a low bar, but his exit would suggest that big central midfield changes could be on the way.

Conor Gallagher, Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma started in midfield against Brighton, with Archie Gray, Palhinha and Lucas Bergvall as back-ups.

'Unbelievable' Striker Wants to Re-Join Tottenham Even After Relegation

'Unbelievable' Striker Wants to Re-Join Tottenham Even After Relegation - GiveMeSport
Description

Troy Parrott is ready to re-join Tottenham Hotspur even if they suffer relegation to the Championship in the next few weeks, according to Football London correspondent Alasdair Gold.

Spurs' Premier League survival hopes took a huge hit as they conceded a 95th-minute equaliser against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, having been on the verge of their first league win of 2026.

It is now four months since the north London outfit last tasted victory in the Premier League, which is clearly a massive problem with just five matches of the season left to play.

Tottenham conceding late on against the Seagulls stopped them moving out of the relegation zone, and they are one point adrift of safety ahead of 18th-placed West Ham United facing Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

De Zerbi will already be well aware that next weekend's trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers is must-win, and should West Ham beat Palace it wouldn't even be enough to take them out of the drop zone.

Big squad changes are surely coming at Tottenham no matter which division they find themselves in next term, with Parrott open to a return.

Tottenham Have 20% Parrott Sell-On Clause

While Tottenham deemed Parrott not good enough to make a first-team impact at the club when they sold him to AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2024, it could be a different story in the next few months, according to Gold.

The Republic of Ireland international has gone from strength to strength in the Netherlands, scoring 50 goals in 92 games for Alkmaar, as well as helping them win the KNVB cup in Rotterdam on Sunday.

Parrott is the fifth top scorer in Europe's top 15 leagues this season, when you include league, cup and international goals, following an impressive year playing for his nation too.

Tottenham know that they inserted a 20% sell-on clause in the deal that saw Parrott join AZ, with the report claiming his value is estimated to be around €25m (£21.7m) this summer, meaning they could take advantage and would receive a discount if they did make their move.

Parrott Keen to Re-Join Spurs

After his stunning form for the Dutch club, Gold claims that big clubs across Europe such as Napoli, Real Betis, Bayer Leverkusen and Ajax are all targeting the 24-year-old, who has been labelled as 'unbelievable' by Shelbourne player Paddy Barrett.

Despite that, Gold understands that the Irishman would be keen on a return to a club he loves, regardless of their top-flight status.

The striker was always desperate to be a success at Tottenham having only made four appearances before being sold, and joining them this summer could give him the opportunity to be that.

The report says that firing Spurs back to the Premier League would mean a lot more than joining other Premier League clubs who hold an interest in his signature.

Parrott would fit De Zerbi's style of play too, as he likes to press from the front with strong ball-winning stats.

There is little doubt that he would be an outstanding signing for a Championship club, and he could probably offer something to Spurs as a back-up in the Premier League too given his goalscoring stats.

'Serious Favourites' - Lineker Drops Tottenham, West Ham and Forest Relegation Verdict

'Serious Favourites' - Lineker Drops Tottenham, West Ham and Forest Relegation Verdict - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest are involved in a fierce Premier League battle, and presenter Gary Lineker has issued a fresh verdict on how it will turn out at the end of the season.

Tottenham looked set to pick up a much-needed first top-flight victory since December 2025 after Xavi Simons' 77th-minute goal put them 2-1 ahead against Roberto De Zerbi's former club Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, but their hearts were broken by Georginio Rutter's 95th-minute leveller.

The draw left them two points adrift of safety in the bottom three ahead of West Ham United facing Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

Nottingham Forest looked to have a great opportunity to move themselves away from the bottom three when they hosted 19th-placed Burnley at the City Ground on Sunday, but they found themselves 1-0 down at the interval.

However, a hat-trick from Morgan Gibbs-White and a last-gasp Igor Jesus goal saw Vitor Pereira's men win 4-1, which leaves them five points above the drop zone with five games left to play.

Leeds United look to have almost ensured safety after their 3-0 win against Wolves took them up to 39 points, with a home game against Scott Parker's Clarets still to come.

Tottenham 'Serious Favourites' for Relegation

Tottenham, West Ham and Nottingham Forest remain the three clubs most likely to take the final relegation spot, and Spurs have been left in a difficult position following their draw against the Seagulls.

A win for West Ham against Palace on Monday night would leave De Zerbi's side four points from safety with five to go, with a genuine threat that they will be playing Championship football next term.

Speaking on the latest Rest is Football podcast episode, Alan Shearer described the weekend as a 'disaster' for Spurs, while Lineker believes that the north Londoners are now 'serious favourites' to go down after what happened at the weekend.

Shearer said: "As well as they play, there's so many chances that they still give away. And up to now, as we sit here as we're recording this on Sunday afternoon, it's been a disaster of a weekend for Spurs.

Lineker added: "At the minute it really has and it was actually a very good game. There was some great goals scored in that 2-2 draw, some great goals. But I mean, they are serious favourites now to go down. I mean, Spurs in the Championship..."

Tottenham Have Big Opportunity

Tottenham will have no bigger opportunity to end their long run without a Premier League win than against rock-bottom Wolverhampton Wanderers next weekend.

There is no doubt about it, it is a must-win game for De Zerbi and his players, with anything but a victory leaving them on the brink of relegation to the Championship.

Wolves had shown some renewed form but in recent weeks it has tailed off again, and they will be officially relegated on Monday night if West Ham avoid defeat against Oliver Glasner's Palace.

The Midlands outfit would surely have the great incentive of taking Spurs down with them however, so it promises to be another interesting match in England's top tier, with West Ham and Nottingham Forest looking on closely.

Tottenham Star Agreed Deal To Leave the Club This Summer

Tottenham Star Agreed Deal To Leave the Club This Summer - GiveMeSport
Description

There is likely to be a major overhaul in the playing squad at Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, regardless of whether the club maintain their status as a Premier League club or not.

Spurs conceded a 95th-minute equaliser at home to Brighton on Saturday evening, meaning their search for a win in 2026 goes on.

Xavi Simons' superb striker had looked to be sending Tottenham to their first win of the year and out of the Premier League's bottom three, only for that late heartbreak to leave them in an even more perilous position at the foot of the table.

Two Incoming Tottenham Transfers Already Agreed

Victory for West Ham at Crystal Palace on Monday night would leave Spurs four points adrift of safety with just five games to go.

There has been plenty of speculation around players coming and going at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium already, even with the summer transfer window not opening for another two months.

Spurs have reached an agreement to sign Andy Robertson on a free transfer, while the Lilywhites are in advanced talks to sign Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth on a free transfer.

Both are contingent on Spurs being a Premier League team next season, however.

Such defensive reinforcements will be needed, with the likelihood that Cristian Romero leaves the club this summer, no matter what happens with the club's Premier League status.

Speaking on GIVEMESPORT's Market Madness podcast last week, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said: "What I can tell you is that there is a feeling around all people involved in this story, on player's side, and then on club side, it is probably going to be time for Cuti Romero to leave in the summer transfer window.

"There is interest from Europe, and also from abroad. So for sure, there is a lot of interest in Romero, and the expectation of those around player and club is that something will happen in the summer. But it depends on the price."

A Second Centre-Back Is Likely To Leave Spurs This Summer

And Romero will not be the only centre-back departing, with reports in Romania claiming that Radu Dragusin has also agreed to depart the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

There is no club named as a destination for the Romanian, but according to sportmedia.ro he has agreed to leave the club this summer and has instructed his agent Florin Manea to open talks with interested suitors.

The report goes on to state that Manea is already in talks with several clubs in Italy and Germany. Fiorentina, Roma, AC Milan, and RB Leipzig have all been linked with a move for the 24-year-old who has only made nine appearances for Spurs this season.

Tottenham Handed Ideal Chance to Sign 'One of the Best' Ahead of Man Utd

Tottenham Handed Ideal Chance to Sign 'One of the Best' Ahead of Man Utd - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham have been handed the perfect chance to beat Manchester United to one player who would be perfect for Roberto De Zerbi.

It's going to be incredibly difficult for Tottenham to plan for the summer transfer window at the moment due to their uncertainty in the Premier League.

Spurs stand a significant chance of being relegated to the Championship as they sit in the relegation zone with five games to play, and they could be four points adrift by Monday night.

As a result, it's difficult for Tottenham to identify targets, as it's not going to be easy for them to convince top-level players to join if they are in the second tier.

There were encouraging signs in the draw against Brighton at the weekend, but ultimately, they needed all three points.

Tottenham Handed Perfect Alex Scott Chance

Speaking after scoring against Tottenham's rivals Arsenal, Bournemouth midfielder Scott revealed how he is a Spurs fan, and it was a 'dream' for him to score against the Gunners.

"Yes, I support Tottenham, though that doesn't have much to do with today. But growing up as a kid, it was definitely a dream for me [to score against Arsenal]. Bournemouth are my team at the minute but I was a Tottenham fan growing up, so as a kid growing up, I would have been really happy with that."

The English midfielder, described as being 'technically one of the best', also confirmed that his dad was also a Tottenham fan.

"My dad's Tottenham, yes. A few of my friends were here today and they enjoyed the game as well. So, yes, it's nice to have everyone here today too."

With that being said, it surely makes too much sense for Tottenham to make a move in the summer transfer window.

They might need to remain in the Premier League for it to be possible, but he would be perfect for De Zerbi and an incredibly strong addition in the middle of the park.

Man Utd Interested in Alex Scott

According to reports, Manchester United are interested in signing Scott ahead of the summer transfer window.

Tottenham might hope that they hold the advantage in the race due to Scott supporting the club, but it all depends how he sees his next move.

There's no doubt Scott would jump at the chance of joining Spurs if they were competing for titles and in Europe, but they are currently in a relegation battle.

If Spurs survive, they might have the chance to beat United to his signature, but there's a strong possibility that Michael Carrick's side will be playing in the Champions League next season.

Either way, it's worth Tottenham asking the question if they avoid the drop.

The Real Reason Why James Maddison Was on the Bench for Tottenham Vs Brighton

The Real Reason Why James Maddison Was on the Bench for Tottenham Vs Brighton - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are on the brink of relegation to the Championship in what would be the biggest story in the Premier League since Leicester City won the title ten years ago.

The north London club were held to a 2-2 draw by Brighton at home on Saturday evening thanks to an injury-time equaliser by Georginio Rutter, leaving them one point behind West Ham, having played a game more, with just five games remaining in their campaign.

That has seen new manager Roberto De Zerbi pull out all the stops to try and turn things around, and it showed again with the surprising selection of James Maddison in the match-day squad for the first time this season against the Seagulls.

Maddison On Bench vs Brighton

Maddison hasn't played for Spurs this season after suffering an ACL injury during pre-season under Thomas Frank, and he had not been expected to return before the end of the campaign as a result of his recovery.

However, fans were stunned when the team news came out 75 minutes before kick-off and the former England international was listed among the substitutes, despite having been out of team training for almost nine months.

Maddison was an unused substitute in the game, as De Zerbi instead opted to call upon Joao Palhinha, Archie Gray, Mathys Tel, Djed Spence, and Lucas Bergvall to try and change the game at different stages.

But it's likely that the 29-year-old playmaker was never really in contention to find himself on the pitch at any point during the game anyway, and that his inclusion was just a way to provide a boost to players, fans, and anyone associated with the club ahead of the game.

Maddison Inclusion Was Symbolic

De Zerbi admitted this week that the medical team pushed Mohammed Kudus too hard to return from injury, which led to a setback and means he may now miss the World Cup as a result.

But the club did bring Rodrigo Bentancur back into the fold immediately following his return from injury, with the Uruguayan playing for 67 minutes before being replaced. It shows that De Zerbi isn't afraid to use players he feels will help the team.

In Maddison's case, he was in the squad as a symbol that the good times are coming back. He's clearly not fit enough to play yet, but his leadership within the changing room has often been spoken about, and the morale boost his name would've brought will only have helped the atmosphere on the day.

While the decision ultimately backfired, it also quite clearly had a positive effect, with the crowd fully behind their team until the end. Now they need to get points from those performances, or face a trip down to the Championship.
