Signing the South American would be a solid long-term investment for them. He is likely to improve with coaching and experience, and he could develop into a quality player with the right guidance.

Even if Spurs have to pay a premium for him, Pellegrino could justify the investment in future.

Report: Tottenham eyeing 21-year-old Spaniard who could be an upgrade on key star - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on the Porto striker Samu Aghehowa.

The 21-year-old has been outstanding since moving to the Portuguese club, and he scored 27 goals in all competitions last season. He has been quite impressive this season as well, scoring seven goals in 10 matches across all competitions.

They were linked with Aghehowa last season as well.

Tottenham keen on Samu Aghehowa

According to a report from TEAMtalk, they are keeping tabs on the talented young attacker, and they could look to make a move for him in future. There has been talk of fresh investment in the club, and Tottenham could be more ambitious in the transfer market in future.

Tottenham could certainly use another quality striker and could be a solid acquisition for them. He could prove to be an upgrade on Dominic Solanke, who has failed to make his mark since the big-money move to Tottenham. He has not been able to score goals consistently.

On the other hand, the 21-year-old has gone from strength to strength since joining the Portuguese club. He has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League, and he could share the goal-scoring burden with the Tottenham striker. He could even prove to be an upgrade on the English attacker in future.

Aghehowa could fancy a move

The opportunity to move to the Premier League could be exciting for him. It would be a step up in his career, and he would get to test himself alongside top-class players. Regular football in England could accelerate his development as well and help him fulfil his potential.

Meanwhile, the striker has a contract with Porto until 2029, and they are under no pressure to sell him anytime soon. It would take a huge amount of money in order to convince the Portuguese side to sell the player.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign the Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde.

According to Fichajes, they have identified the 27-year-old as a priority target, and they are ready to spend a substantial amount of money in order to get the deal done.

Spurs need Valverde

They could use a complete midfielder like him, and the Uruguayan international would be an exceptional addition. He can operate in any role in the middle of the park, and he can slot into the defensive roles as well. He could be the ideal utility man for Tottenham. They need more quality in the midfield, and the 27-year-old could transform them.

He will add control, composure, defensive cover, physicality, and work rate to the side. He has all the attributes to succeed in the Premier League. The South American is at the peak of his career, and he could make an instant impact in England.

Can Spurs convince Federico Valverde?

It will be interesting to see if they can convince Real Madrid to sell the player. He has been an important player for the Spanish club. Meanwhile, convincing the player to join the club will not be easy either. He will want to join a team capable of winning league titles and the UEFA Champions League. Tottenham are not quite at that level yet. However, they have an exciting project.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. The midfielder has been described as the “most complete player in football” by Carlo Ancelotti in the past. It would be a major coup for Tottenham if they could get the deal done.

Tottenham will need elite players like him if they want to compete with top clubs regularly.

Tottenham want UCL-winning Arsenal target tipped to become “an exceptional midfielder” - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs interested in signing the Turkish sensation Arda Guler from Real Madrid.

The 20-year-old is a tremendous talent with a bright future, and they are hoping to sign him. As per Fichajes, Arsenal and Newcastle are keen on the player as well.

It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid are willing to sanction his departure. He has been a very useful player for them, and he has the potential to develop into a future star. Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has tipped him to become an exceptional midfielder in future.

Arsenal could use an alternative to Martin Odegaard, and the 20-year-old would be a solid fit for them as well. They are one of the biggest clubs in England, and they could be an attractive destination for most players.

Arda Guler is an elite talent

“Arda Güler has made tremendous progress. He’s showing his quality and gaining consistency. I believe he can become an exceptional midfielder, because there are very few at his level. He will be very important for the future of Real Madrid,” said Ancelotti on beIN Sports.

Tottenham could certainly use more quality on the side, and signing an elite talent like Guler would be a solid investment. However, convincing Real Madrid to sell the player will be difficult. They do not need to sell players for money, and they are fully aware of the 20-year-old potential.

Spurs could use Guler

He is capable of operating centrally as an attacking midfielder as well as on the flanks. He will help create opportunities for his teammates and also find the back of the net. Despite his tender age, he has demonstrated that he is capable of competing at the highest level. He has already won the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid. His winning experience could prove to be invaluable for Tottenham.

They are looking to build a team capable of fighting for trophies regularly, and they could use someone like him. They have an exciting project, quality players and a quality manager. It will be interesting to see if the Turkish midfielder is attracted to the idea of joining them. The only way he could consider joining Tottenham is if he struggles for regular gametime at Real Madrid. Other than that, there is no reason for him to leave one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Tottenham transfer Vinai Venkatesham Fabio Paratici

‘Made the first move’ Venkatesham has personally reached out to transfer guru - The Boy Hotspur
Description

The business of Tottenham transfer windows is probably discussed at least once a day by most fans, either face-to-face or online. Everybody wants to know who’s the next man through the door will be. Player trading is an actual obsession.

To which end, the subject of Fabio Paratici’s future has been the subject of significant speculation, since his brush with football authorities in Italy, which resulted in a worldwide ban from working in the industry and of course, resulted just recently in a suspended jail sentence.

It now emerges that the transfer ‘Don’ could make a well-received return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to TBR.

“Paratici was very close to Daniel Levy, and when he left, he was not thinking that he would still possibly return to Spurs, but the club have reached out to him – they know the players he has brought in, and Vinai Venkatesham recognises that fact, they know he is one of the best in football at what he does.

“But a big part is that Venkatesham and Paratici, during the Levy days, actually get on really well – they respect each other and Venkatesham feels they could work together very successfully.

“Venkatesham is pushing to the Lewis Family that Paratici knows the squad, he knows what the club needs, he isn’t starting with a blank sheet of paper, and that is a huge advantage. So, whilst far from done, it is a possibility now that Venkatesham has made the first move.”

Venkatesham has been impressed by Paratici

Venkatesham, previously at Arsenal, has been impressed by Paratici’s transfer market expertise, notably his signings like Cristian Romero, Dejan Kulusevski, and Destiny Udogie.

Reports indicate Venkatesham has pushed the Lewis family, Tottenham’s owners, to offer Paratici a permanent role, valuing his knowledge of the squad and recruitment skills.

Paratici, who has been a consultant since his 2023 resignation due to a 30-month FIFA ban (lifted in July 2025), is reportedly undecided about returning full-time, especially after Daniel Levy’s departure as chairman in September 2025, as their close alliance was a key factor in his initial agreement to return.

Despite interest from other clubs, including Premier League rivals and Middle Eastern teams, Venkatesham’s advocacy and their mutual respect make Tottenham a likely destination, though no final decision has been confirmed.

Speculation mounts as Tottenham scouts went to watch ‘exceptional’ La Liga starlet - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Arda Güler’s future at Real Madrid has once again attracted attention from top European clubs as the January transfer window approaches. José Mourinho recently described Arda as a player with a great personality and exceptional quality.

Güler is seen as a Long-term project

However, sources close to the club insist that Real Madrid have no intention of selling their young star. After overcoming early-season injuries, Arda has reached full fitness and is satisfied with the minutes he’s received in recent weeks.

The coaching staff continue to monitor his development closely and views him as a long-term project. Arda himself is content with his role in Madrid and committed to his growth within the club.

Still, several elite European sides remain attentive to his situation. The Boy Hotspur’s Substack understands that Tottenham sent scouts to watch Arda live in La Liga matches since the start of the season. Arsenal, in particular, have maintained a long-standing interest in the Turkish international. Mikel Arteta’s side is still evaluating the possibility of bringing him in, having considered a move last season.

Arda is aware that Jude Bellingham’s return from injury will intensify competition for starting roles, but he is unfazed by the challenge. He is determined to seize the opportunities presented to him and continue carving out a meaningful role at the Bernabéu.

Tottenham interest continues as speculation mounts

Tottenham’s interest in Güler dates back to at least the January 2024 transfer window, with reports suggesting they saw his versatility as a boost to their midfield, especially given the inconsistent performances of players like James Maddison.

A loan deal was considered a possibility, though Real Madrid’s stance has since hardened, with sources indicating that the club views Güler as a key part of their future and is not willing to sell him permanently.

In summary, while Tottenham are keen on Güler and have been linked with a potential loan or permanent transfer, Real Madrid’s reluctance to let him go and his improving situation at the club make a move uncertain at this stage.

From a financial standpoint, Real Madrid has placed no price tag on Arda, as he is not on the market. The club regard him as a key investment—both athletically and strategically—for the future.

They have quality players and a quality manager at their disposal. The African will be tempted to join them.

‘He’s going to be a big, big, big success at Spurs’ Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink coos over one of Spurs’ new boys - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink knows football, and he knows Xavi Simons. Speaking to The Boy Hotspur, Jimmy told us his thoughts:

…but that’s England. It’s physical. Simons has only just started, but I like Simons. I really like him. I think he’s going to be a big, big, big success at Spurs.

He can play on the left or as a No. 10, but he’s also not scared, and that’s why I like him.

It looked like Simons could have been going to Chelsea, but ended up going to Spurs. What do you make of that sort of scenario?

It’s one of those things. It took a long time, and then you start to think, ‘is it going to happen?’. But then Spurs came in, and then he had to make a decision, as he wanted to be in the Premier League and not at Leipzig any more, so he had a choice to make.

I think he spoke to Thomas Frank, and he really liked what Frank was about, how he was going to play and what his role was going to be.

That was the biggest factor. I think that he had that chat with Frank, and he showed that he really, really wanted him. So, you can understand it.

Xavi Simons played 78 minutes against Wolves on September 27, in a league game for Tottenham, which ended in a 1-1 draw. He had no goals or assists, took no shots, completed 1 of 4 dribbles, and lost possession 24 times.

His performance was described as ineffective, with Tottenham’s manager Thomas Frank noting that Simons’ role as a No. 10 didn’t really work in this game, despite some positive ball-carrying moments.

This will certainly curb some of the initial hysteria that was doing the rounds.

The discussions with Chelsea were significant, but in the end, Frank won his man.

Tottenham and Chelsea are both fantastic clubs with solid projects, and there was real interest from both sides,

said Simons’ agent Ali Barat via Metro.

“But Chelsea was always clear with us; they had certain constraints that made it difficult to move forward with discussions. So when the talks with Tottenham started, it became clear that this would be a project that would be a perfect fit for Xavi.”
