Tottenham Women are predicted to lose to Arsenal on Sunday in the first North London derby of the season.

With many of Tottenham’s men’s team away on international break, the coming weekend is the perfect time for fans to immerse themselves in WSL1 action.

To date, Spurs have had a solid start to the season, sitting fifth in the table, winning five of their first eight matches.

The appointment of Martin Ho at Tottenham seems to be a success so far, as he looks to guide the North London club to new heights.

Now, with Spurs set to host Arsenal on the weekend at Brisbane Road Stadium, the manager faces his biggest test yet.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Arsenal Women heavy favourites for North London derby

Despite going into the game on the same number of points, Arsenal Women are heavy favourites to overcome Spurs.

The Champions League holders have struggled in recent weeks and fell to a 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in Europe on Wednesday.

Despite this, Opta on 13 November has insisted that the Gunners are the most likely side to win the match, giving them a whopping 62.9 per cent chance of walking away with three points.

In comparison, Spurs’ odds of winning the match are just 17.4 per cent, while the chances of a draw are seen as 19.7 per cent.

Tottenham Women have an awful record against Arsenal

Going into the match, Spurs have only beaten Arsenal once in a competitive match.

This came back in 2023, with Tottenham Women beating Arsenal 1-0.

However, their fortunes since this fixture have not been great, losing every one of their last three competitive meetings without scoring a goal.

While Spurs did beat Arsenal 4-3 in pre-season this summer, it remains to be seen if Ho can use this to his advantage on Sunday.

Son Heung-min could reunite with Tottenham in a pre-season fixture against LAFC in South Korea next summer.

Spurs’ 2025 pre-season tour was a success, where Tottenham even triumphed in a 1-0 win over rivals Arsenal.

As part of the tour was held in South Korea, the left winger had a clause in his contract that ensured he went on the tour before departing the club.

Son departed Tottenham after nearly a decade in North London. His final game came during Spurs’ draw to Newcastle United in South Korea, where he received a standing ovation when substituted.

However, fans will want to give their legend a proper farewell in the near future.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Son Heung-min could return next pre-season

Son revealed that he hopes to reunite with Tottenham fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, given that his farewell came in South Korea.

This could see him return to North London once LAFC’s season ends in early December.

However, speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Tottenham expert and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham believes there will be a chance for Son to reunite with Tottenham fans if Spurs face LAFC this upcoming pre-season.

“I think Spurs will already have in mind a pre-season friendly in South Korea this upcoming summer against LAFC. Watch this space on that,” Wenham said.

While it remains to be seen, there likely won’t be a dry eye in the house when Son finally reunites with Tottenham fans.

Son Heung-min cannot be replaced at Tottenham

Tottenham lifted the UEFA Europa League with Son as their captain.

When others departed North London in search of personal glory, the winger stayed and was rewarded generously for his loyalty.

In an era where players are forever moving on to bigger, better things and loyalty is hard to come by, replacing Son will be a difficult task.

Son’s spot on Tottenham’s left wing is up for grabs, and while Wilson Odobert has started showing his class at Spurs, he is still far from displaying the same level of output the South Korean had while in North London.

But given what Son means to Tottenham fans, there isn’t a world where he can be replaced.

For now, it’s in Tottenham’s and Thomas Frank’s best interest to find someone good for the collective, not a replacement for one of the club’s biggest living legends.

Thomas Frank might have his answer for Tottenham’s striker issues in Mason Melia.

Tottenham are struggling in the striker department at the moment, given that Randal Kolo Muani is taking his time to settle in.

Richarlison has received criticism this season, as on top of that, Dominic Solanke is still out injured.

However, Tottenham are awaiting the permanent arrival of Melia, with the youngster set to walk into Hotspur Way on red-hot form.

Tottenham have the next Harry Kane in Mason Melia

Harry Kane is favoured to return to Tottenham over any other clubs, including Barcelona and Manchester United.

MORE SPURS STORIES

But 18-year-old Melia is continuing to show that Tottenham don’t need to spend any more money on strikers.

Tottenham signed Melia for £2m earlier this year, as the Irishman will officially become a Lilywhite in January 2026.

Melia was 17 when Spurs reached an agreement with his current club, St. Patrick’s Athletic, to sign him.

But due to FIFA rules, he cannot be registered as a Spurs player until early next year.

Melia has scored a goal in almost every other game and records a pass completion in his own half of 80 per cent.

Footage on X is now circulating that showcases his sheer qualities.

Melia’s stats draw striking comparisons to what Kane was like during his early days at N17.

Melia draws similarities to a young Kane

The stats suggest that Melia can come deep into his own half and get his team on the front foot, like Kane now does expertly.

However, this wasn’t always the case for Kane. It took time for the striker to improve his link-up play, and Melia clearly needs to continue developing his tendency to drop deep.

The goals speak for themself, Melia is a deadly finisher, as the footage shows he can prove to be a clinical striker for Tottenham, just like Kane was.

Melia has interestingly missed more big chances than he’s scored, but the exciting part is how he still has so much time to develop.

Kane always got in the right places and, over time, refined his finishing ability. Melia can do the same once he arrives in January; Frank just needs to give him a chance.

Description

Tottenham look set to release a purple third kit for the 2026/27 campaign as leaks emerge online.

The popularity of kits has increased year upon year with football clubs under increasing pressure to release kits that fans will love.

Thankfully, Tottenham’s 2025/26 kits have impressed, with the black away top in particular standing out to fans.

Now, another Tottenham top has been leaked, as Spurs look to create another jersey that will be adored by fans.

Tottenham are set to release a purple third kit

According to Footy Headlines on 12 November, Spurs are set to release a purple third kit.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Spurs have not used this colour on one of their jerseys for the past four seasons, which could make it stand out more.

Complemented by white accents, the kit has a striking similarity to the away top released in the 2011/12 campaign.

While Tottenham supporters could well be unimpressed that yet another kit has been leaked, it is bound to be popular once released.

The report goes on to say that its release is expected for August 2026.

How much could Tottenham’s third kit cost?

Tottenham’s 2025/26 third kit currently costs £85 from the club’s official store for the base shirt.

If fans wanted the elite version, the price increased to £125.

The prices are also the same for the women’s version of each style of jersey.

Therefore, it is likely that when the new kit is released, it will be placed in a similar price range, barring a sudden turn of events.

Fans will no doubt be excited for this, and many of the Tottenham faithful will be hoping that a new signing is also accompanied when it is announced.

Brennan Johnson finished at Tottenham as interest ‘intensifies’ for potential January transfer - tottenhamhotspurnews.com
Description

Brennan Johnson could be in line to leave Tottenham in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Wales international has produced several big moments for the Lilywhites since his arrival from Nottingham Forest back in 2023, but his lack of consistency has frustrated at times.

Johnson scored the winner for Tottenham in their Europa League final victory back in May, but he has struggled to find form in the early stages of this campaign.

Thomas Frank has a wealth of options in the wide areas, and that has seen the 24-year-old’s gametime take a hit of late as a result.

Ademola Lookman transfer to force Brennan Johnson exit at Tottenham

Tottenham were linked with a move for Ademola Lookman in the latter stages of the summer window, and they even had the 28-year-old offered to them by Atalanta.

MORE SPURS STORIES

No deal came to fruition for the N17 outfit on that occasion, but it could be a totally different story in January after the latest developments from Italy.

The winger is understood to be “seriously considering” turning his back on Atalanta due to complications in his relationship with their boss Raffaele Palladino, according to Tutto Juve.

As a result, Atletico Madrid are now working on making contact with Lookman’s camp, and their interest has “intensified” of late due to the fact that clubs in the Premier League are also keen.

Tottenham were named specifically, and are believed to be “closely monitoring the situation” ahead of a potential move in January.

If the North Londoners could act quickly and win the race for Lookman, then it would surely spell the end for Johnson’s time at the club, as he would be pushed even further down the pecking order.

Dominic Solanke is ‘very close’ with ‘phenomenal’ Ademola Lookman

Dominic Solanke is still out injured for Tottenham, but there is hope that there is finally light at the end of the tunnel in terms of his recovery.

The striker may not be able to help Spurs on the pitch at the moment, but he could lend a huge hand in their pursuit of Lookman, given the relationship that he has with the former Everton star.

Solanke revealed in an interview with South African outlet Showmax back in 2024 that he is “very close friends” with Lookman, and added that the Charlton Athletic academy graduate has hit “phenomenal” heights in recent years.

With that in mind, he could potentially play an invaluable role in helping to convince the Atalanta wideman that a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the perfect next step for his career.

Spurs’ interest has been prolonged for several months now, and they may just need a little persuasion from Solanke to get a deal over the line.

The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust (THST) have put Spurs’ poor home atmosphere and results down to “unaffordable” ticket prices.

Tottenham’s 2-2 draw to Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend saw the Lilywhites extend their record to just three wins in their last 20 home league games.

The dire feat has seen Thomas Frank come under the microscope despite having a decent start to the season.

However, the issue goes beyond the coach and is one that Spurs’ hierarchy must address before further damage can be inflicted on the season.

Tottenham told to decrease ticket prices

Thousands of seats were vacant in Tottenham’s win over Copenhagen in the Champions League.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Indeed, their return to the competition has resulted in crowds of 54,755 and 49,565 despite the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium seating 62,850 fans.

This has led to a decline in the stadium’s home atmosphere, with even Guglielmo Vicario noting the quiet fan support against Chelsea.

Vinai Venkatesham has been praised for his work at Tottenham thus far, where he has made several changes to the club’s communication department.

However, fans have now called on him and the rest of Spurs’ hierarchy to take another look at their ticket pricing.

“Over the last couple of seasons, it’s undeniable that the atmosphere has declined at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,” part of the THST statement said in a statement on 12 November.

“The reasons are simple – too many empty seats and too many supporters, particularly young supporters, priced out of attending. Thin the crowd and you thin the noise.

“We’re asking the club to make ticketing fair and affordable and encourage the next generation of all match-going fans, so the stands are packed, every match, all season. Fill our home – and we’ll find our voice again.”

With Tottenham fans being priced out of attending games, it is no wonder that the home atmosphere has been dire.

How much are home tickets for Tottenham’s 2025-26 season?

Premier League games are available to purchase on a match-by-match basis where adult prices range from £38 to £109 when bought directly through the club.

Prices vary across different match categories:

Meanwhile, discounts are available for seniors, young adults and juniors. This ranges between £19-£54 for seniors, £28.50-£81.50 for young adults and £19-£54 for juniors.

Still, Tottenham fans are unimpressed with the current pricing.

There have been calls for Spurs to follow PSG’s model and section off one area of the stadium for young people at a discounted price. This would encourage younger people to go to matches and scream till their hearts’ content.

Either way, change will need to come soon, or else Tottenham could face further ramifications in the Premier League.

Description

Tottenham are facing an anxious wait on Lucas Bergvall and Mohammed Kudus ahead of the North London Derby.

After the international break, Tottenham are set to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 23 November.

Tottenham’s rivalry with Arsenal runs deep, and with the Gunners currently sitting top of the Premier League, the Lilywhites will be hoping to cause an upset.

Kudus has been terrific for Spurs, but is an injury concern for the upcoming clash, as Lucas Bergvall suffered a concussion against Chelsea earlier in November.

Tottenham will be craving a derby day win, and injury expert Ben Dinnery has provided an update on where Bergvall and Kudus are at.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Lucas Bergvall is 50:50 for Arsenal, Mohammed Kudus should be okay

Bergvall has shown his best football since Thomas Frank arrived at N17, and his concussion blow will have come as a huge disappointment to both himself and his teammates.

Kudus, on the other hand, has been Tottenham’s best attacker and could truly be the difference maker should he be deemed fit against the Gunners.

Tottenham fans will be glad to hear that there’s hope for both of their stars.

Dinnery has claimed that Kudus now has a 75 per cent chance of returning against Arsenal, with Bergvall at 50 per cent. Both are currently being assessed.

Days after Bergvall’s injury, Frank commented on his Swedish midfielder’s situation.

Frank said: “Lucas got a concussion, which was probably pretty obvious from the footage. It’s the player’s health that’s the most important thing.”

The Tottenham coach also stated that Kudus was “touch and go” before the 2-2 draw against Manchester United, as the latter was then absent from the squad on match day.

Tottenham need all the help they can get vs Arsenal

The Lilywhites have not had the best of luck against the Gooners in recent times, with their last win at the Emirates Stadium coming in 2018.

Although Spurs have won a trophy more recently, Arsenal keep getting the better of the Lilywhites at the moment.

Tottenham’s last three games vs Arsenal:

A win is not out of the question, however, with Tottenham’s away form possibly being their biggest threat coming into the derby.

Tottenham are first in the league for away form, narrowly ahead of Arsenal by goal difference.

The Lilywhites are yet to lose on their travels this season, and will have no intentions of falling to Arsenal.

Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: Weather forecast latest amid Met Office warning - tottenhamhotspurnews.com
Description

The Met Office has issued a weather warning which may disrupt those heading to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

Chris Eubank Jr is set to face Connor Benn in a thrilling rematch, nine months on from their first clash in February.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is used for 30 non-football events per year, after an agreement was reached with Haringey London Borough Council last year.

The music artist Post Malone had shows at Tottenham’s stadium in September, which went down as a success.

Fans travelling to see the epic fight will be glad to hear that this isn’t the venue’s first non-footballing event, but a weather warning may cause worry.

Met Office issues yellow weather warning ahead of Eubank v Benn

Like many UK stadiums, Tottenham’s is open-top, which reflects a broader reluctance from combat sports companies, notably the UFC, to host events in England specifically.

However, boxing fans have enjoyed events at the likes of Wembley Stadium, Selhurst Park, and now the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Facts about the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium:

Ahead of the box office showdown between Eubank and Benn, the Met Office on 13 November is forecasting that it will be an unpleasant evening on fight night.

They have shown that it is a yellow weather warning, which means travelling fans should be prepared for potential disruption.

Flooding is possible, as is power outages in the most extreme cases. Driving conditions will also be difficult and public transport may be impacted.

From 5pm to 11pm, there will be clouds and temperatures which will drop to 11 degrees Celsius, with a 30 per cent chance of rain expected.

Light winds are also expected, so visitors should dress appropriately, as there is a chance that rain could get into the stadium.

Fight times and how to watch Eubank Jr vs Benn 2

The main card is expected to start late in the evening, with Eubank and Benn estimated to make their walkouts at 10pm.

For those not travelling, the fight can be accessed through Sky Sports Box Office, while DAZN PPV also offer two options for viewers to watch.

Tottenham have lost money through naming rights on their stadium, thanks to Daniel Levy.

However, Joe Lewis has already ploughed £100m into Tottenham, and the Lilywhites’ owner will be expecting to receive further profits from the sold-out boxing event.

Tottenham will be looking forward to another successful event, with many more shows in the pipeline that will take place soon.

Ex-Tottenham striker backed to become new Middlesbrough manager amid ‘shock’ news

Jamie O’Hara has thrown fellow former Tottenham player Robbie Keane’s name into the hat to become Middlesbrough’s next manager, while a “shock” name has also emerged.

Middlesbrough are on the lookout for a new manager after Rob Edwards contentiously decided to jump ship to Premier League strugglers Wolves.

Gary O’Neil is currently considered the favourite to take charge at the Riverside, while Steven Gerrard and Carlos Corberan are other names to have been mentioned.

However, O’Hara has followed Jeff Stelling in backing Keane for the Middlesbrough job in what would be his first managerial position in English football.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Robbie Keane named as ‘great choice’ for Middlesbrough job

O’Hara is never short on an opinion on Tottenham, or indeed former Spurs players, but he talks a lot of sense when it comes to Keane.

The Irishman, who spent a combined eight years at Tottenham, has since ventured into management with ATK, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ferencvaros.

Keane won two trophies in Israel with Maccabi and has also lifted silverware during his time in Hungary with Ferencvaros, as well as competing in European football.

Asked on Sky Sports News on Thursday who he believes should get the Middlesbrough job, O’Hara was quick to name Keane.

“Robbie Keane needs to be in the debate,” he said. “I’m a massive fan of Robbie. He’s gone abroad and won two titles, and I think a cup.

“He’s top of the league with Ferencvaros and was a leader on and off the pitch as a player. I loved him as a captain.

“He’s only just being talked about for big jobs. He’s not a popular choice, but if Keane comes over to England he’d be a great choice.“

Keane has been in charge of Ferencvaros since January this year, having left his role with Maccabi a couple of months earlier.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink a ‘shock’ contender for Middlesbrough job

Keane will have to fight off plenty of competition for the Boro job, however, with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink another said to now be in contention.

As per Alan Nixon via his personal Patreon on Thursday, fellow legendary Premier League striker Hasselbaink is a “shock” option for Boro.

Hasselbaink has been competing on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and is also a regular on the punditry scene, but he has also coached under Gareth Southgate for England.

Boro are expected to make an appointment prior to their next Championship match, which is away at Oxford United on 22 November.

Tottenham could finally replace Son Heung-min output as Everton star emerges as priority target - tottenhamhotspurnews.com
Description

Tottenham have launched a significant offence to sign Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye this upcoming winter market.

The Lilywhites have been short of consistent attacking options since Son Heung-min departed Tottenham over the summer.

Indeed, Thomas Frank’s Tottenham have been criticised for their limited creativity and inflated goal-scoring statistics.

As a result, the North London club have made Ndiaye their main target to reinforce their attack this winter, according to Fichajes on 11 November.

But given his impressive form for Everton this season, striking a deal with the Toffees will be far from easy.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Tottenham could pay between £60-70million for Iliman Ndiaye

This heightened interest in Ndiaye follows former Tottenham target, Morgan Rogers, renewing his contract with Aston Villa.

However, the path to sign the versatile forward will not be easy, given that David Moyes considers him a key member of his squad.

Spurs must also convince the player himself of a move and will no doubt have to fight off other interested parties.

It is believed that the North London club’s offer must be adjusted to Ndiaye’s sporting and economic aspirations, and with Everton unwilling to sell this winter, putting pen to paper will be difficult.

Despite this, Tottenham are convinced that strengthening their offence will be key to meeting their Premier League and European ambitions, so the Ndiaye file will definitely be one to watch over the next couple of months.

Iliman Ndiaye would be a solid investment for Tottenham

Ndiaye would be one of their best transfers in years, if Tottenham manage to pull it off this winter.

Currently, he plays on the right wing for Everton, with Jack Grealish performing excellently on the left-hand side.

However, Mohammed Kudus has been sensational for Tottenham on the right wing, so it’s difficult to see Ndiaye replacing him.

But that means little in the grand scheme of things, given that Ndiaye can play on the left wing and as an attacking midfielder.

Tottenham have struggled to replace Son’s output on the left wing, while their numerous and frequent injuries have made versatile players a need now more than ever.

As a result, Tottenham could be better equipped to compete in all competitions with Ndiaye on their team.
