These missed payments amount to around £5.5m, according to new court documents. Supposedly, Tottenham were due just under £500,000 in August 2024 and a further £5.1m in December.

The Times reports that Levy is now seeking just over £11million from Ineos. The unpaid £5.5m, another £5.3m for the 2026-27 season and £300,000 in interest.

Ineos claims that it had the right to terminate its partnership with Tottenham before these payments were due.

Knowing the stubbornness of Levy and Ratcliffe when it comes to business dealings, this case could drag on and on.

Ineos has a minority stake in Manchester United, and its CEO, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is in charge of footballing affairs at the Old Trafford club.
