“This may extend to reporting, removing or hiding comments and, in some instances, blocking offending accounts on all social media platforms other than X. This is an automated process carried out via an online tool deployed by the club.”

This may be a fair and well-reasoned apology, but not releasing it to the wider public due to the payment needed feels incredibly sly.

With that in mind, Tottenham News have approached Spurs for comment, but are yet to receive a reply.

In fairness, few pundits have suggested that Frank is a dead cert to be a roaring success in North London. This will be his first opportunity to take charge of a Champions League club. The expectations at a club like Tottenham will far exceed what he experienced at Brentford.

All Frank can do to curb his critics is to deliver results for Tottenham. He looks set to be given the funds necessary to do that.

If he goes on to lead Tottenham to a trophy and a strong performance in the Premier League, Jordan may be forced to apologise again, this time to the Tottenham fanbase.
