Tottenham are showing interest in a surprise move for Brentford forward Kevin Schade, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed.

The North London side are believed to be among several clubs closely monitoring the development of the 23-year-old winger amid his impressive displays at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Schade scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 38 appearances for Brentford last term under current Spurs boss Thomas Frank, and netted his first of the 2025/26 campaign in the 2-2 draw at home against Chelsea in September.

Plettenberg suggests Tottenham are eyeing the 23-year-old as a potential target for the summer transfer window, with no mention of a mid-season move.

Tottenham Eyeing Brentford’s Kevin Schade

According to Plettenberg, Schade remains one to watch this season, with several teams closely monitoring his development, including Tottenham:

Schade, praised as ‘unbelievable’ by Frank, initially joined Brentford from Bundesliga side Freiburg on loan in January 2023 and had his move made permanent the following summer.

The 23-year-old was one of the most expensive signings the Bees made under Frank, alongside Igor Thiago, Nathan Collins and Fabio Carvalho.

Schade featured in every Premier League game for Brentford last term, helping the club finish 10th in Frank’s final season at the Gtech Community Stadium.

He received a call-up to the Germany squad for the October international break but was not named in the squad for the 4-0 win over Luxembourg on Friday.

Tottenham have made a strong start to the season under Frank, losing just twice in their 11 games in all competitions.

The Lilywhites are unbeaten in their last seven games and secured a 2-1 win away at Leeds before the international break, with Mohammed Kudus and Mathys Tel scoring.

The North London side next take on Aston Villa at home on 19 October and travel to Monaco in the Champions League three days later.

Exclusive: Sol Campbell Drops Honest Verdict on Tottenham and Thomas Frank - GiveMeSport
Description

Sol Campbell has heaped praise on Thomas Frank and Tottenham following their strong start to the season, while speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT.

The Lilywhites brought in Frank as their new manager this summer to replace Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked after finishing 17th in the Premier League despite winning the Europa League.

So far this season, Spurs sit third in the Premier League, just two points off league leaders Arsenal, while they are also unbeaten in the Champions League and have progressed to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, on the back of bringing in five new players during the summer transfer window.

Sol Campbell Impressed by Tottenham Start

Frank's first official game in charge of the north London club saw them narrowly defeated by European champions Paris Saint-Germain on penalties, despite holding a 2-0 lead in the 85th minute.

But Campbell, who captained Tottenham before famously leaving for fierce rivals Arsenal on a free transfer in 2001, told GIVEMESPORT exclusively that he thinks the season so far has been "positive" under the new manager.

Speaking at the Portugal Football Summit in Lisbon, Campbell said:

"I think he's made a really good [start]. You know, a positive approach, a fresh approach to the game.

"You know, they came close against PSG, almost, you know, just lost on penalties against them, he started really top football, with fresh eyes upon it.

"And maybe he's doing something simple, in a sense that allowing players just to be a bit freer, maybe taking a bit more pressure on him, and less pressure on the players.

"I think, you know, it's been a great start for them. Who knows what's going to happen. But the main thing is, it's positive."

Spurs will return to action following the international break with a home clash against in-form Aston Villa, before travelling to face off against Monaco in the Champions League in midweek.

Frank has shown an adaptability with his approach so far at Tottenham, playing with several different formations depending on the opponent including a 4-3-3, a 4-2-3-1 and also a five-at-the-back system to be more secure when he felt it necessary.

But the team haven't struggled to score goals, and with Frank bringing attacking talent like Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani to the club it shows that his intention is to play on the front foot and win games.

Tottenham have been approached by Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic’s representatives over a potential summer move, journalist Graeme Bailey has claimed.

The North London side have reportedly been contacted over a potential deal for the Serbia international via intermediaries, who are looking to find Vlahovic a new club next year.

The 25-year-old’s representatives are believed to have touched base with several potential landing spots, with Vlahovic ready to depart Turin when his contract expires in June 2026.

The Serbia international is said to have earmarked the Premier League as his preferred destination and is not expected to continue at Juventus after this season, following a breakdown in talks over a new contract.

Juventus reportedly asked Vlahovic to take a pay cut if he wanted a long-term extension, as he is the best-paid player at the club, earning a reported £370,000 per week.

According to Bailey, Vlahovic’s next move could depend on whether he is willing to lower his salary demands and accept a pay cut at his next club.

While he would earn ‘major money’ in the Premier League, the Serbia international could only secure more than his current salary at Juventus by moving to Saudi Arabia next summer.

The Middle East has seen an influx of players still in their prime this summer, with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Theo Hernandez, Joao Felix, Kingsley Coman and Mateo Retegui all joining the Saudi Pro League.

Vlahovic, who arrived to Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022, has started the season well, scoring four goals in just two starts for the Italian club, with a further six appearances off the bench.

The Serbia international has faced increased competition for places following the summer arrivals of Jonathan David and Lois Openda and has played just 255 minutes of football so far this term.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Vlahovic has eight goals and three assists in 18 Champions League appearances.

Tottenham have spent heavily on new signings since appointing Thomas Frank this summer, welcoming Xavi Simons, Mohammed Kudus and Mathys Tel on permanent deals.

The Lilywhites made a strong start to the season with four wins from seven games, looking to bounce back after a historically low 17th-place finish last term.

Orlando City are showing interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison next summer, GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano has revealed.

The Major League Soccer side, led by sporting director Ricardo Moreira, have reportedly held direct talks in London with the Brazil international’s camp in recent days and presented their project.

While no official proposal has been made to the club or the player yet, Orlando have voiced their intentions to sign Richarlison after the season, though they may face a difficult round of negotiations with Tottenham.

The North London side view Richarlison as a key player under Thomas Frank and are unlikely to engage in any transfer talks with Orlando in the near term.

However, the situation could change after the season, when Richarlison enters the final 12 months of his contract with the Premier League side.

Orlando City Eyeing Move for Richarlison

According to Romano, Orlando City have genuine interest in signing Richarlison in 2026, with talks taking place between the two camps in London in recent days:

Richarlison has been an important part of Frank’s squad this term, making 11 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the Premier League.

The Brazil international is Spurs’ top scorer in the competition and has featured in every game so far, making five starts and two substitute appearances.

Richarlison netted a brace in the 3-0 win over Burnley on the opening weekend of the season and also added another goal in the 2-2 draw at Brighton last month.

The £130,000-a-week forward, who joined Spurs from Everton in the summer of 2022, has made 101 appearances for the North London club to date, scoring 23 goals and providing 11 assists.

He also started in the 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Europa League final last term, helping Spurs secure their first major trophy in 17 years.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur recently confirmed that majority shareholder, the Lewis family trust, has injected £100m of new capital into the club, and GIVEMESPORT have taken a look at how they could spend that money to improve Thomas Frank's squad.

Sources close to the Lewis family confirmed to GIVEMESPORT that although the injection on Thursday isn't simply a transfer kitty, it will go towards strengthening the squad, for the present and the future. £100m might not seem like an awful lot in the grand scheme of things when it comes to football, but with Spurs often targeting young, up-and-comings, they could reinforce their squad significantly over the coming months.

There are plenty of routes Tottenham can go down, and we've taken a look at how they can improve their squad using that kind of money.

Do Everything to Sign Antoine Semenyo in January

Reports have recently claimed that Tottenham are eyeing a move to sign Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, who could cost £75m. Spurs would have to smash their transfer record to bring him to the club, but he's certainly a player who could be worth splashing the cash on in the January transfer window.

Semenyo naturally has plenty of interest in him, and if the north London club opt to wait until the summer, they could fall behind in the race to secure his signature. The Bournemouth forward has nine goals and assists combined in just seven Premier League games this season, with interest in him likely to ramp up in 2026.

Frank has regularly rotated his options in attack this campaign, but Semenyo, with his Premier League experience, could slot in perfectly on the left-hand side of attack.

Save The Money for Fairytale Harry Kane Return

An emotional return for Harry Kane would likely please the majority of Spurs fans, considering what he's contributed to the club over the years. The England international is showing no signs of slowing down, scoring goals for fun in the Bundesliga, and reports have claimed his release clause will drop to £54m in January.

A move in the winter window appears unlikely due to Kane having his full focus on Bayern Munich at the moment, but it will be interesting to see if he's keen on a return to the Premier League in the summer. If there's even a small percentage of a chance of bringing Kane back to the club, Tottenham should be keeping their powder dry until later in 2026 to secure his signature.

Kane might still want that Premier League goal record, and what better place to do it than back at the club you started your career with?

Triple Signing Including Kenan Yildiz

One player who could help transform Spurs and fill two of their recruitment criteria at the same time - an up-and-coming star and someone who can make an immediate impact - is Juventus' Kenan Yildiz. The young star is already a key player for the Serie A club, and he has bags of potential, even being labelled as a 'future Ballon d'Or winner'.

The signing of Yildiz might take a large part of the budget, but another similar profile could be available on the market if he gets his own way. Reports have claimed Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo could force an exit after a difficult period under Ruben Amorim, and the England international did push for a loan move in the summer. It remains to be seen whether Spurs would sell to United, but trying for a loan move could be smart if he wants game time before the World Cup.

With Yildiz taking up a host of the budget, Spurs could also look to raid Juventus once again. Dusan Vlahovic is out of contract next summer, as a potential squad rotation option in attack, the Serbian striker could be a smart addition on a free transfer.

Description

Tottenham have announced a new £100m capital injection from majority owners ENIC, aimed at further strengthening the club’s financial position and sustainability.

The fresh investment, described as part of a ‘new era’ for the club, reiterates the Lewis family’s long-term commitment to the North London side and provides further evidence that the club is not for sale amid recent takeover speculation.

Spurs hope the new capital will drive better on-field results, as well as provide initial backing for management to deliver long-term sporting success amid a positive start to the Premier League season.

Spurs Announce £100m Capital Injection

Tottenham sources have emphasised that the new funds are not required immediately and are not intended solely for player transfers, but rather to strengthen the club’s overall financial position.

While part of the investment will go towards boosting the squad in both the short and long term, it will also help solidify the club’s financial foundations.

The new capital will be invested through additional equity rather than debt – this will further boost the club’s balance sheet and ensure greater sustainability in the years ahead.

The investment is seen as a ‘new era’ at the club, with better structured capital and a reduction over the long term in reliance on debt funding.

A source close to the Lewis family said:

“This is initial additional funding. As the club’s management decides what’s needed to deliver success, more money will be available. The Lewis family is committed to backing the club to be successful.”

Thursday’s announcement comes after Daniel Levy’s exit as executive chairman last month, with the 63-year-old departing after almost 25 years at the club.

Peter Charrington has since been appointed as the club’s new non-executive chairman, while Tottenham have insisted there will be no changes to ownership after receiving several expressions of interest from potential buyers.

Tottenham appointed Thomas Frank as head coach in June, with the 51-year-old Dane replacing Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked despite leading the club to victory in the Europa League final.

Frank has made a promising start to life in North London, losing only once in his first seven Premier League games and going unbeaten in the opening two matches of the Champions League campaign.

Tottenham sit third in the Premier League after their 2-2 draw at Brighton last weekend and will face Aston Villa at home following the international break.

Tottenham are among a host of Premier League clubs keeping close tabs on Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, journalist Alex Crook has revealed.

The North London side are reportedly monitoring the Ghanaian winger amid his impressive start to the season, with Semenyo scoring six goals and providing three assists in his first seven league appearances.

Bournemouth are said to be bracing for ‘serious interest’ from England’s top clubs if Semenyo continues his incredible form, with several clubs scouting the 'world-class' 25-year-old.

Tottenham are reported to have held talks with Semenyo before he signed a contract extension with Bournemouth this summer, keeping him at the club until June 2030.

The Lilywhites have recently been boosted by a £100m injection of fresh capital from majority owners ENIC, in an effort to achieve more on-field success.

Tottenham Eyeing Antoine Semenyo Move

According to Crook, Bournemouth believe Semenyo has raised his value to over £75m following his impressive start to the season, meaning any potential deal to lure him out of the Vitality Stadium would require a club-record proposal from Tottenham.

The Lilywhites already broke their transfer record on a player from Bournemouth last summer, welcoming England striker Dominic Solanke in a deal worth up to £65m.

Solanke also became Bournemouth’s most expensive departure ever, although the sales of central defenders Ilya Zabarnyi to Paris Saint-Germain and Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid came close this summer, bringing a combined £107m.

Bournemouth also sold left-back Milos Kerkez in a deal worth £40m to Liverpool, as well as forward Dango Ouattara to Brentford for £42.5m.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Semenyo has scored 26 goals and provided 13 assists in 97 appearances for Bournemouth.

Semenyo, who joined Bournemouth in January 2023 from Championship side Bristol City, enjoyed a career-best campaign on the Dorset coast in 2024/25, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists in 37 league appearances.

He has already reached at least half of last season’s goal and assist tallies just seven games into the new campaign and is one of the Premier League’s leading goal creators in 2025/26.

Only Manchester City star striker Erling Haaland has scored more goals (nine) in the first seven appearances this term, while Semenyo also ranks joint third in assists, trailing Tottenham’s Mohammed Kudus and Everton’s Jack Grealish.

Description

Fabrizio Romano has given an update on Joao Palhinha's future at Tottenham Hotspur while speaking on GIVEMESPORT's Market Madness podcast amid the Portuguese's impressive start to his loan spell with the Premier League club.

Palhinha returned to the English top-flight with Spurs in the summer, joining Thomas Frank's side on loan from Bayern Munich with a £26 million option to buy. The midfielder had struggled for game time at the Allianz Arena after leaving Fulham for the German giants in the summer of 2024.

The 30-year-old has been an instant hit in North London, scoring two crucial goals in seven league games, including in a 2-0 win over Manchester City. He has been a standout performer under Frank, who is "very happy" with his performances thus far.

Romano 'Quite Optimistic' Tottenham Make Palhinha's Loan Permanent

Palhinha was expected to have a huge impact at Bayern following an eye-catching spell at Craven Cottage, but he failed to win Vincent Kompany over. His decision to leave on loan and join Spurs has proven to be the right one, and it could result in a permanent switch.

Romano delved into the Portugal international's situation and whether he's likely to extend his stay beyond his loan:

"I think there is a good chance of seeing Palhinha staying at Tottenham in 2026. Then let's see if it's going to be via the option, or maybe they want to re-negotiate with Bayern. It's too early to say, still at the beginning of October, so many months to go before they make any decision."

Frank has spoken highly of Palhinha since his arrival at the club and it's said that all parties are pleased with the deal:

"But internally, the feeling is very positive. Palhinha is happy at Tottenham, and Thomas Frank and Tottenham are also very happy with him. So it's a very, very good deal for all parties involved. And now it's going to be about the agreement with Bayern in 2026, again, it's still early, so let's see how the season will go."

Romano added:

"But the start of this loan deal has been positive, and all parties are more than happy to continue together. So I would be quite optimistic on that one, but again it's still a long season and we have to see what's going to happen next."

Description

England captain Harry Kane remains focused on his season at Bayern Munich amid recent links with a return to Tottenham Hotspur, journalist Fabrizio Romano has exclusively revealed on GIVEMESPORT’s Market Madness podcast.

The 32-year-old striker’s future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with his release clause set to drop to €65m (£54m) in January, potentially putting several Premier League clubs on alert.

Romano claims Kane is not expected to make a decision over his future until after the 2026 World Cup, as he is ‘very happy’ with life at Bayern, as well as with head coach Vincent Kompany.

Kane, who joined the reigning Bundesliga champions from Tottenham in the summer of 2023, is under contract until June 2027.

Harry Kane 'Very Happy' at Bayern

Romano, speaking on the Market Madness podcast, revealed Kane is not considering a departure from Bayern at this point in the season and may only address his future after the World Cup next year:

“Look, I think there is some possibility to see that happening, but what I can guarantee is that we have to forget about that speculation now and for the next months, because until the World Cup, Harry Kane will not make any kind of decision.

“When he says in public that he is very happy at Bayern, it’s the reality. Obviously, the numbers at the start of the season are incredible.

“It's not just about the numbers, the goals, the assists. Harry is very happy with Vincent Kompany as the coach, with his teammates, with the whole project at Bayern.

“They feel at Bayern, Kane and all the others, that they can win every title this season. They will be competitive in all the competitions.

“Harry Kane obviously also wants to make something special happen at the World Cup, and so [there are] no distractions about transfers and all the rest.

“Then with the Premier League, we’ll see what's going to happen after the World Cup. We’ll see what kind of season Bayern will have.

“But I can guarantee that now, today and the next few months, the full focus of Harry Kane is only going to be on Bayern.

“I don't think we will have any kind of talk or contact about Harry Kane returning to the Premier League now. We will see in the near future, that could be a possibility, but now full focus is on Bayern.”

Kane has started the 2024/25 campaign in incredible fashion, scoring 18 goals and providing three assists in 10 appearances, helping Bayern maintain a perfect start to the season.

The Bavarians have yet to drop points in any competition, winning all 10 games in a row, including back-to-back Champions League wins over Chelsea and Cypriot side Pafos.

Kane failed to secure any silverware during his first season in Germany in 2023/24, but has lifted the Bundesliga and the German Super Cup this year and was named the German league’s Player of the Season.

The 32-year-old departed Tottenham after becoming the club’s all-time record goalscorer in 2023/24, with 280 goals in 435 appearances for the North London side.

Not Kane: Tottenham ‘Serious’ About £87m Deal for ‘Elite’ Champions League Striker - GiveMeSport
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as 'serious' contenders to sign FC Porto striker Samu Aghehowa, according to Fichajes.net.

The Lilywhites had a busy summer window as they brought in Kota Takai, Mohammed Kudus, Joao Palhinha, Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani to bolster the squad for new manager Thomas Frank, and they have had a fairly strong start to the campaign too as they sit third in the Premier League and unbeaten in the Champions League.

However, the club are already planning for future transfer windows and Spain international Samu has emerged as a potential target, with reports suggesting that they are preparing an offer.

Tottenham Want to Sign Samu Aghehowa

Aghehowa, who has been described as 'one of the most prolific No.9s in Europe', was on the verge of joining Chelsea two summers ago before a deal collapsed, and he eventually made the move from Atletico Madrid to Porto.

In his first season in Portugal he scored 27 goals, including against Man Utd in the Europa League, and so far in this campaign he has netted five goals in seven appearances in the Liga Portugal.

His performances have seen him labelled 'elite', and it's now believed that a move to the Premier League will happen soon - with England expected to be his next destination once he leaves Porto.

The Portuguese giants obtained 100% of his rights during the most recent summer window amid speculation over his future, and they are already pointing at his €100m (£86m) release clause for any interested parties. But that hasn't put Tottenham off following him closely, and they are said to be prepared to make an offer next summer to bolster their front line already.

Newcastle United were strongly linked with a move during the last window before instead opting to sign Nick Woltemade, while West Ham and Aston Villa have also shown an interest. But it's Tottenham who are believed to be the most serious and most likely option.

Frank currently has Richarlison as his starting number nine, but the Brazilian hasn't got the best goalscoring record. Dominic Solanke has struggled with injury so far but had a good debut campaign last year following his £60m move from Bournemouth, while Kolo Muani has featured for just 13 minutes since signing on loan due to injury.

With Aghehowa performing well, Spurs watching closely, and current options hardly ripping up any trees, this is a situation to pay close attention to over the next transfer windows with Porto clearly anticipating an exit.
